@catlady1215 I didn't! Maybe that's why it was so quiet when I went there a few weeks ago. ha! Hm, seems like trouble to me...why leave a good thing and try to recreate the wheel? Oh well. I like the bump and the rules of TB and will be here.
AND, I accepted the job that I interviewed for on Friday. I wasn't all involved in the board to know who and what they were talking about lol. I'm happy here though! and yay! congrats on the job!! I'm currently debating a position change also. @stephcat421 yea, I'm fine, everyone I know is fine. (As if I leave my apt during the day, psh lol) It happened close to my in-laws apartment, though. They're totally fine, but my MIL usually walks the dog there at that time of day. Just happened not to today. In usual fashion, most NYers didn't even know anything happened. All just got panic calls from our relatives outside NY. Thanks for checking in!
@fantasticmrsfox with my last pregnancy I told my older son right away, but he was only 2 and didn't really get it so I didn't have to worry about him telling. This time I'm keeping my lips sealed because he's 4.5 and I know he'll tell everyone!
Re: due dates, I was due on April 10th with my son, he was a week late, and I felt like I was one of the last to deliver! Both of my guys have been a week late so I might deliver in July. It kind of sucks being behind everyone else when you're overdue and sick of being pregnant and everyone else is snugging a baby on the outside! So if I found out I were due at the end of may I would probably stay here too hha.

@pinottoparenthood it really was cute because I know he’s excited! I just don’t want our 4 year olds friends to go home and tell their parents before we tell ours! Ha! I thinks DS knows to keep it hush hush now, but we’ll see!
Dh's grandpa passed away the other night. The funeral is Saturday. I'm sad about his grandpa but we have to cancel the family pictures we've had planned for months now. I feel like a jerk for being sad about that given the circumstances but there's not even a good possibility of rescheduling them because she books so fast. Ok, flame away but I needed to vent.
So, I love baths. Hot baths. I used epsom salt and baths to soothe my anxiety every time my hashimotos would act up. Now I was told we can't take them!!! fjrhfgreusgfseuyfghrkuygsreyugreskuygsu That is how I feel about that. Rant over.
@tudalu2516 I saw an article on the bump "10 Things not to give up during pregnancy" and baths was number 7. I think as long as your temp doesn't rise too high your fine.
@tudalu2516 I agree with @nakoehl as long as the water isn't scalding hot, you're not in for too long and you just watch for how you feel. Like make sure you don't feel overheated, short of breath or elevated heart rate. IMO it would be fine.
I also love baths, I have a small fortune invested in my Lush collection, but MH doesn't want me to take them. So I refrain. Although I did take one while he was out of town
Also I'm not a doctor so you should check with yours and see what they say.
Also, this DOES NOT apply to hot tubs (not directed at anyone specifically but just if someone is reading this wondering about hot tubs). Bath water will constantly be decreasing in temperature, hot tubs maintain their high temp causing your temp and in turn baby's temp to remain elevated.

i think as long as your bath isn't hot enough where you begin to sweat, it's fine. If you're sweating, it's too hot. Baths don't retain their heat like hot tubs do, so they have safe to have. I live for hot baths in pregnancy, especially later on when all the body aches start to settle in!
also, we learned yesterday that we had a mouse in our house. Our puppy caught & killed it. Our cat sat and watched, terrified. Guess who's our new favourite??

@bkrahn we've had about 2 mice in our house over the yrs, both times we found out cause our cats cornered it just to watch and play. We had to trap and get rid of it ourselves lol.

@catlady1215 geez, cats are useless sometimes haha! Our current cat was declawed by her last owner so she literally couldn't do anything even if she did catch one. I grew up on a farm so I'm not used to cats being actually terrified of mice.. setting up traps tonight and hoping there was only the one *fingers crossed*
I really want to order a shirt from etsy that says "The turkey isn't the only thing in the oven" for telling my parents. The shop says they need 2 weeks to get it to me. My dr's appointment isn't until 11/9. I was hoping to wait until after that to make sure everything is on track but that is exactly two weeks before Thanksgiving. I'm worried if I wait to order if it gets delayed at all, I wont have it in time. But I also don't want to waste the money and cause heartache if I go to the dr and I don't get good news.
Not really sure what I need. Just kind of venting.

@krashke - Unless you have your heart set on a certain design, there are a ton of shirts with that saying that you can quickly get via Amazon prime.
First Son - born 2013
Second Son - born 2014 - Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) and Double Outlet Right Ventricle (DORV). First open heart surgery at 5 days old. He's had 3 open heart surgeries and several other procedures and is currently doing amazing. Third Son - due June 9, 2018
@krashke Message the seller. Sometimes they're really great about rush shipping something if needed too. But like @mytinc said, there are several on Amazon Prime although probably not as cute.

Apparently you don't want to raise your body temp to 102 F or more. Especially in the first 6 weeks of pregnancy. I honestly don't know what my body temp. is during long showers, baths, exercise on a hot day. I'm assuming it's below 102. That seems like a pretty high jump from a normal resting temp.
DH just brought me an egg and cheese bagel sandwich and it is glorious. It’s the first thing in days that has been even remotely appetizing and Tastes good!
