Just about anything my MIL buys DD is cringeworthy. And now that we are having another girl I'm sure we will be getting not just one but two frilly cringeworthy matching outfits.
This makes me sound ungrateful. I am not, but I just do not like the frilly pink things and my MIL seems to love that stuff. She does occasional surprise me with something cute once in a great while!
Alright, the sheer number of responses about how awesome the nose frida is has convinced me. But I'll probably just buy it myself instead of putting it on my registry lol..
I have a feeling these infant massage techniques are just as effective and less messy than the Windi...though now I need to look it up on Amazon to read the reviews!! Seriously I’ve given the Infant Massage book to every mom I know and they’ve all loved it!

Sorry to bring up the nose frida again but I was just reading the reviews on Amazon and a lot of mom's said they caught the babies cold after using it. Has this happened to anyone on here?
@sarahhedger7 How could a parent differentiate catching a cold from using the Nose Frida versus catching a cold because your child sneezes/coughs into your face?
[FWIW I have a teacher-grade immune system and never caught anything DD brought home from daycare and I used the Nose Frida. DH wouldn't use the Nose Frida and caught multiple colds and respiratory infections from DD.]

@sarahhedger7, what @becausescience said (although I did get some of the colds, but we didn't need to use the Nose Frida a lot generally speaking). As a parent, you're swimming in their germs with or without the Nose Frida (that's how I figure at least). For some reason I was always the one my LO puked on (husband was the one who always got crapped on though).
@sarahhedger7 honestly every time my kid has been sick I've gotten sick... I didn't use the nose frida all of those times either so I think just plan on probably getting sick either way lol!
*lurking from Feb18* Thank you for showing me the Windi! The Amazon reviews are priceless. And after watching my friend struggle to relieve her newborn's gas, I added it to my registry. No shame.

Okay. First off... wtf? Second, does this look like it could be for a girl? Why would you put this on a a baby at all, let alone a baby girl? I’m just... why does Facebook show me this shit?
Team get the snot out.. The bulbs actually can hurt if done wrong, the Frieda is much more gentle. over the years and 3 other kids, I hate the little mesh feeders, those effers never come clean. Don't ever put a banana in it if you don't want to go crazy trying to get the fibers out. And the tiny receiving blankets, they are useless. You can't swaddle a decent sized baby in them, they are basically just snot and puke rags in our house.

I've heard good things about the Windi but couldn't bear to use it.
I agree: Gassy babies = no one happy.

I also used Mama's Bliss gripe water as pretty much a main part of my son's diet
