@garykayla@KatieEl I'm right there with you guys. I don't take mine until the 27th. So anxious to get it over with. I also have my TDAP shot, my RhoGam shot, and an US to check on my partial previa. It's going to be a busy morning!
Dang, I hadn't even thought about not being able to eat treats around the holidays!
So I took my first one a few weeks ago and passed and my next one (which is at the standard time) isn’t until November 6th. I’m kinda blah because it’s after Halloween. How am I supposed to properly steal my kid's candy and not worry that it’s going to affect it? Bahah. I’m kidding.
@supercoolstephy I don't know what kind of testing they did back when my mom was knocked up in the 80s, but I think they checked something in the urine? All I know is the Monday after Easter Sunday (When she downed an entire basket of candy) her levels were off the charts and her doctor was worried lol. Luckily they settled down a few days later, but she had to fess up to all the chocolate she ate!

My problem is I'm so worried about failing yet the hubby made me cookie dough tonight and I had no problem eating that shit! Don't feel bad for me when my numbers are off the charts! Ha!! Crossing my fingers everyone passes though!
I don't have my glucose testing until November 8th. My doc was totally okay with me waiting until 28 weeks. I talked to my friend at the lab who told me to do the lemon/lime drink but cold. Slightly freaking out but who knows. Good luck to those that have the 3 hour testing and those of us that still have to do out testing!
@schaze I should find out tomorrow morning, fingers crossed. When I found out I failed the one hour thanksgiving and Christmas were the FIRST things that came to mind...sadly.
I scheduled my 1 hour test for next week. So tonight i had a slurpee. It's amazing that when you know you're going to be denied something is when you all the sudden want it with a passion haha
Sitting in the parking lot, waiting for my dr to open at 8:30 to get this 3 hour over with. I am getting hangry and also nervous about throwing up. Considering the 1 hr drink didn't sit right, fingers crossed I can keep this one down. And big prayers that I pass.
Thanks girls. I had PCOS from insulin resistance prior to getting pregnant, and lots of family history of diabetes, so I shouldn't be surprised, but it still sucks.
TInman87 I am right there with you on the PCOS/insulin resistancy train. I didn't get GD with DD, but she ended up being 9lb, so everyone assumes I did. I am really nervous for the test this time. I hope your DH realizes these things just happen and is supportive.
Thanks @lmmjd luckily, we had our last baby class last night and the nurse teaching the class brought it up. She explained it more as "luck of the draw". Apparently that stuck with him, when I told him today he quoted her and said it could happen to anybody and we will figure it out together. 10 points for him today
