Driving by to say oh man, I can't wait to read this June drama!
Also, DD crashed onto my pelvis right above my pelvic bone so hard yesterday that I almost vomited from it. I'm trying to be chill because everything is probably fine and I have an appointment in 2 days.
Also also, I miss working out too! My regular workout was really rugby, so that's definitely out. Agreed that it's really hard not having that outlet!
Ok, worst drive-by post ever- definitely circled the block a few times
Heard baby's heartbeat on my home heartbeat doppler tonight for the first time. Been checking daily for about a week only short periods of time once a day. Excited to hear it .
Question: Does anyone want to do product series posts like June does? As a FTM I really want to get opinions about different gear/products. I loved the post from several weeks ago (that's now buried), but it might make it easier to read if we divide future ones by product type (car seats, strollers, bottles, etc).
Took DD to the zoo today, and she was freaking out with joy over the "ducks." Everything was a duck. Every animal was quacked at. It was adorable and hilarious
All these awesome kickboxing ppls and I am over here sitting on my couch being fat.
I got my big ass fking pillow today!!! I am looking forward to bed time and it's only 2:12pm. Btw are we allowed to use curse words or will the bump gods loose their shit? I like to cuss. It makes me happy
Oh yeah and I have to go to an open house at the school later. I wish I could just hibernate for the next 6.5 months
@desertdweller-2 Looking over our Read This First, we don't tend to do most of the stuff on Thursday or Friday so if we want it to be a regular thing, we could start them then. Don't know how many we'll do, so they could be monthly as well, but that might result in aforementioned burring of posts

@artlea2013 Okay, that sounds good. I just read the most recent comments from that thread and some don't want the individual threads. Oops.
We can have it as often as wanted (or let it die). Whatever the consensus says. I most likely won't start another one though, so we'll see what happens. @mileswithmyles I'll let you decide if it should have a designated timeline since you started the board organization thread.
I think lucies list is the best place to start. You can see different options and then if you have more specific questions you could ask here if someone else has it or would recommend it. I actually was just on the site today to look at carriers, and then saved some ideas to amazon to read more reviews.
So glad to see the product thread. I am a ftm and feel like I have soooo much to learn about! When I go through a baby section I get overwhelmed with the number of products (especially the car seat and stroller section).
I ran out of Phenergan last night and plan on getting my refill this morning because it wasn’t ready when I went to pick it up. I missed a dose last night and let me tell you, I am paying for it.
It's raining and finally cool here today, and I just wanted to stay in bed this morning. Sadly, I have work, and even worse a toddler who now knows the word 'breakfast' but doesn't understand volume control

Major TW - loss, especially for twin moms: In the February BMB, one twin mom just lost a twin due to complications of TTTS. Another mom is struggling with another scary condition (info in this week's Randoms thread). They're all hurting. They mentioned how terrible of a time it would be for a drive by so I made a love shower for them. Would you mind swinging by with a love/support themed gif?

@lincbeesmom do you have an iPhone and just do the update? My phone battery has been awful since I updated.
Yes I do and I did. I was wondering if maybe that was the problem. It’s been pretty trrrible. I think 11.1 is releasing soon so hopefully they fix the battery issues.
@lincbeesmom I've heard other people complaining about it draining their battery, too (maybe when I was still on TTGP?) so I'm sure the update doesn't help, but I think the app is a drainer as well.

Our insurance still covers genetic testing for me but not for DH. Why?! It's not like I'm the only one contributing genetic material here. It sucks because my genetic history is fairly well known to us, but his mom was adopted so his could have any number of skeletons in it (though, less hiding than if it came from my side for sure).
If anyone understands this better than I do please educate me!
@cassloumy it might depend on your familial risk factors. My OB was only really concerned with my history, DH, our siblings, and our parents. For example, BIL is a carrier for CF. The OB said they would test me first and if I was a carrier, test DH. Because I wasn't a carrier, they didn't test DH. And some of the tests they will only be able to do on you because you are the one carrying the baby. My example for this is that DH has VSD, a congenital heart defect. They did an echo/ultrasound of DS's heart at the anatomy scan to determine if he had VSD.
Re: Weekly Randoms 10/9-10/13
Just discovered Barre about a month ago and love it! Just wish I had enough energy and a day without nausea so I can go!

Everyone safe?
DD would only eat white rice and apple slices for dinner. Whatever.
At least they ate! That's half the battle.
