Also, has anyone done the self-pricking First Trimester Screen test (Free Beta, PAPP-A, AFP, NT w/ optional NB)? I definitely didn't get enough blood on the paper. And you can't overlay blood droplets, so I hope they can work with what I'm giving them.

@silverhope I haven't done the test, so I can't help you sorry.  As for drama, it's kinda just sprinkled througout, but I was reading one of the UO threads, and it gets pretty snarky.  
ETA June just had their Introductions thread closed, I wonder if that's ever happened on a BMB before???

The "are you showing yet?" one is pretty good.  Editing a second time because I can't keep the boards straight.  It's in April.

My possible UO: I hate when people say “we’re all emotional here” or some other comment how we pregnant women obviously have no control over ourselves anymore because we are KU. Like yeah, I can be emotional when I’m pregnant just the same as I can be when I’m not. Pregnancy is not some excuse for being “emotional”.

I think we may pick up a few crazies along the way, people will show their true colors as time goes on. 

My random- I just left MFM for my prenantal screens and I'm actually super nervous. So, now I wait for two weeks. Ugh. We do the NT scan in two weeks and then back at MFM for the anatomy scan at the end of November. I feel like this entire pregnancy is just one long diagnostic. 

I think im finally starting to feel human again, so I'm hoping to have more time to participate here.

Was that the cell free dna test? If so here’s hoping you don’t have to wait the full two weeks for results; it can be really stressful! We get our blood draw on 10/23.

bearwithme @Ceridwen21 I just went today for my cell free DNA test today. They said 1-2 weeks.  I found this article reassuring.  It's super scientific but I like that about it.

It only goes into Down Syndrome which isn't something that  I stress about. (I am more worried about the abnormalities.) But I can't find the article I read.

Yes, it's a cfDNA screen- we are using qnatal. I'm actually doing a carrier screen, as well, to see if I carry a particular translocation based on DS's genetic condition, so we did a blood draw for that today, too. 

Im super hesitant to read too much into the microdeletions results. Per our GC, a lot of tests don't advertise it, but they aren't super accurate for smaller deletions and the rate of detection for certain disorders can range anywhere from 30%-80% accurate. Which doesn't give me a lot of confidence in them. We opted in to doing them so we can help guide our decision in doing an amnio or CVS later. 

My best friend keeps asking when the results will be in so she  can know the see of our baby. Uhm, we've got bigger things we are worried about right now. Like, are we going to have another kind with angelman syndrome?!

Also, random, I just had a chance to go through the US thread. I'm always amazed at the different levels of clarity from the machines and how different they all look even around similar timeframes.

@bearwithme I have my US at the hospital at 13 weeks. I am hoping for a newer machine with good resolution.

April ‘18- even though the “is anyone showing?” Question was kind of dumb, I think that lund girl (not tagging her because I don’t need her yelling at me too) kind of thrives on being the girl that jumps on the drivebys. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll be the first to send someone to an intro thread but she was the same girl in the middle of the UO drama. Maybe I’m defensive because the girl she was arguing with in the UO is part of my first BMB/FB group so I felt like she was fighting with me too in a way haha 

after a while, you start to feel like you’re walking on eggshells with people like that. You start to wonder if your question is going to come off as stupid or not!

Eta: just realized I said “girl” ten million times in this post. Words are hard.

I noticed this Too! I feel like the picture we got of the twins was extremely clear. Like, I could make out their little limbs and heads but some of the other ones just looked like fuzzy blobs.

Not sure if this is the board to ask but I figure, what not? Anyone have any experience with home dopplers? I'm 10.4 today and have held off buying one but I am curious if anyone has used one before and when you found the heartbeat? Thanks!

I have one. Found it a handful of times. The baby moves so much and can hide in the placenta, be prepared to not find it more than you can. If you can deal with the anxiety of that, go for it. It has unfortunately cause me more stress than not and I had a scare last night that freaked me out all day until I found it after work. I would wait until 15 weeks to find it consistently. Fyi, I'm 10+4 too if that helps.

Here's my random, first day back at the gym after 4 weeks off and I was slacking. Super out of shape already, which is sad. 
The owner was there and was so excited to see me back, he was asking me questions about the baby, kept telling me I was doing well and to keep taking it easy. It made me remember why I fell in love with the kickboxing gym to begin with. I honestly missed that physical release 5 days a week and cannot wait until I'm more up to speed with my old routines. 
I say all this, but I bet tomorrow I call my gym my Tuesday TW when I'm too sore to move.

mskennedy16  I got the Sonoline B from target.  I have found the HB everyday from 9.5 weeks.  The baby moves around quite a bit.  It's a bit easier to find if you are the slimmer side but I have some padding int he belly and I can always find mine.  The clue is to search near the placenta sounds which are louder. I watched a bunch of youtube videos.  It took me a long time to find it the first time because I was searching too high up.  Now baby always hangs out in one of two locations.  Wiggly baby!  (I do give up after 3-5 minutes if I can't find it and try again later.  Mornings are best!) . GL

@suchaglencoco ah I LOVE kickboxing!!! I just got into it this year. My studio closed like two weeks after I found out I was pregnant though 

I might try a new kickboxing studio, but right now I have a sweet deal on barre classes (obviously way less intense, but I still like it).

My kickboxing gym had freaking chandeliers...so it’s hard fo find a boxing gym that compares now  The chandeliers might also be why they went out if business.

@silverhope, I've heard great things about Barre studios. We just had one open up by us this summer, but I was too in love with my gym to cheat on it. Which is really funny because I never thought I'd be the person that "needed" to go x amount of times a week to the gym.
And that's so odd your gym had chandeliers!  Definitely may be why they went out of business,  haha.

Today's random is DH is leaving to go out of town for a business conference today and won't be back until 5 tomorrow night. It's the first time he's been out of town like this since our twins were born. I'm exhausted just thinking about being solo parent for 33ish hours. He normally does bedtime and breakfast so it's going to be a little different for them too. DD is super attached to him, which is sweet, but also stinks when he's not around at his normal times because she can freak out about it. 
Tonight the plan is takeout and a movie in the living room to try and keep the peace. 
I don't know how military wives, single moms, or others who are constantly solo parent do it. So major props to you ladies.

All I want to eat is pizza.  DH isn't going to be home for dinner so I think I'll pick up a digiorno for me and the boys this afternoon.
