Hello everyone, I'm a first time soon to be Mom! My expected due date is 5/13. It took us a year to conceive and I guess we will be considered "older" parents, I'm 39. I worry a lil bit about the possibility of miscarriage because of that. But I'm trying to do as many of the researched right things as I can. I'm excited to be on this new adventure with all of you!

Hey everyone! My name is Laura. I've only posted a couple times here and there. More of a lurker so far. I'm a first time mom with an EDD of May 15th! I got my BFP on September 3rd and my HCG was 54k on the 5th. Soooo....either we miscalculated or there may be more than one little nugget. Just the doctor's speculation but we'll find out at our first appointment next week! I'm currently a 5th grade teacher but will stay home after baby ☺️

Hi everyone! I got my BFP on Thursday.
*possible trigger* Later that day I started heavily bleeding and losing lots of tissue. I thought I had miscarried but at my drs yesterday they told me baby was still there and they saw a heartbeat!!!

This is my 3rd pregnancy. I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old. This wasn't really in the plans but here we are! I look forward to getting you know you all over the coming month.

My EDD is 5/27 but I will deliver a week sooner than that due to CS necessity.

Hi! I will be a STM my EED is 5/18 adding to my my family’s absurd amount of may birthdays, mine included. I stay home with our DS who is 14 months old and we are excited to add another crazy kid to the mix. My first appointment isn’t until October 11th, anxiously awaiting to make sure little baby is doing good.

Hi Everyone! I got my BFP 9/17...I didn't believe it, so I took 4 more tests just to make sure! This baby is my husbands birthday gift, as we are pretty sure baby was conceived on his birthday! I'm 33 and a FTM...so very nervous about this pregnancy. My EDD is 5/29, so I'm right on the cusp of May/June mommies. I live in Pittsburgh, PA. I'm a fifth grade teacher and thankfully will have all summer off with this sweet little one before I go back to work in September. Looking forward to participating in this community!

@legerm I still don't think it's real! Hubby and I don't have our first appointment until November 10, so I'm cautiously optimistic until then about this sweet little one!

Hey ladies! First timer here and 7 weeks pregnant. I think my due date is 3rd week of May, but I will get confirmation on that this week at my first OB appt. Hubby and I are over the moon excited and just celebrated 5 year anniversary! I'm 31 and from New Jersey.

I really want to be active here, but I have to admit I'm overwhelmed already trying to read all the rules and acronyms, not to mention the posts.

Hi everyone! I posted an intro but I think I did it wrong so I am trying again (I apologize if this is a duplicate!
I am a 35 year old mom to one 17 year old DD I got married in June and this is the first child for my husband. It's been so long I feel like this is my first time too.
I was surprised (just figured it would take awhile because of my age) with 3 BFP 2 weeks ago and have my first OB appt in 2 weeks. I am estimated to be 6 wks today with an EDD of 5/28. We live in MA and I am in sales for a large company and playing by ear whether I will be a SAHM after baby comes.

I was a member of a September 2000 group on an AOL board and have met many of those moms and keep in touch. I am so excited to find this board and hope to have the same experience!

Hi ladies! I had my BFP on 9/11 and am due 5/21 with a DD. DH and I went through over a year of infertility treatments after years of trying on our own. Needless to say we are ecstatic!

@emilybmomtobeof3 I will find out thursday if my EDD changes but regardless I know it will be at least 2 weeks before DD birthday because I am high risk but it still makes me nervous for them to grow up with birthdays so close.

Hi! Just like last time around, I'm due at the end of the month, so glad to see this board is already filled with a ton of other mamas! I have my dating ultrasound next week so slight chance I could get pushed to June, but pretty sure my due date is at least in May.

Found out I was pregnant a couple weeks ago, surprised because we meant to wait another month or two to try, but I guess my cycle wasn't regular yet so I biffed that one. Currently have one daughter that will be 2 right around the new guy's due date, hoping they don't end up sharing a birthday!

Anyway, I live in Oregon, work full-time in market research, and like running, crafting, and watching TV. Good to meet you all!

Hi everyone. Im a first time mum to be after recently getting married and being off the pill for less then a month&finding out im pregnant. Ive always wanted two kids but now that its happened so quick that i pregnant after getting off the pill i cant deny im nervous&do have selfish thoughts-like the sleepless nights haha but im sure the Mr will help me out (ill make sure he does!) Theres so many questions i have like how often does a baby need a feed-as many times as their crying&hungry? As for symptoms, ive been feeling pretty tired lately and ive noticed my breath is a bit short sometimes if im lying down-Not sure why that is. Deep down im excited too and ive been broody for years-having worked with kids but i think i think the excitement is currently masked with nerves&worries.

I'm pregnant with my first TWO babies and found out mid-day 8 DPO...yes-I guessed that I was carrying two for this reason. I'm currently 8 weeks and praying for two healthy babies in May. @mommy_515 Congrats and welcome! I'm wondering how you found out at 3DPO? Implantation doesn't happen between 6-12 days after ovulation, so implantation that early would actually be really bad, as the egg is still in the fallopian tube at that time. I'm guessing you just ovulated earlier than you thought.....

@mommy_515 I second what @sandbar517 said. I was shocked to get a faint BFP at 8DPO. Were you temping or tracking other signs of ovulation?
