@prudence9-2 I had one august, sept, and the third will be this month. Basically we just start monitoring on day 1 of my cycle, weekly blood draws and ultrasounds, start meds when instructed, do the FET, wait 14 days for betas, then stopped meds when I had a negative.

@bethann1022 I'm glad that you find encouragement in my posts, I'm seldom negative on things. I was brought up knowing that miracles work and not just by words I really saw them in action as I was growing up. Although I gulped a bit nervously when I was reading your post. I'm also worried that all these optimism I have would be washed away if ever I get a negative result from my first FET. However, as I start this journey, I realized that I can choose how this will change me. My faith in God is stronger than ever and I became more tolerable to people's attitudes, thinking that they might be undergoing IVF as well I don't know if I'm saying these things because I have just started IVF recently and I haven't experienced the frustration that some of the ladies here have gone through but I'll try to be uplifting as possible when I'm around.

Last month, during stims, that nasal spray gave me headaches, a roller coaster emotional state (crying everyday), piercing pain on both ovaries from time to time. Although, I think everything went on very mild, nothing was really serious.
@tinjp78 hope you won’t feel too bad from it this time around.
Im not doing anything special to prep... are you planning any special preparations?

@prudence9-2 As for my FET prep, my DH required me to do at least 2 sets of basic squats daily, increased calcium intake, sleep before 11pm and heating my body esp my hands and feet (I take some Chinese herbs).

@Crystal321 That is really hard, especially if you're willing to keep going and YH is not. I don't know how much you've already gone through, but if it comes to it, I hope you're able to sit down together and work through to a decision that is best for both of you. But really I hope that it doesn't come to that at all because you get KU with one of your remaining frosties--preferably this one! Always feel free to vent because we all understand what you're going through, and we all want success for you.

Bababatty I wanted to add that you should ask your RE about it. For my fresh transfer which was nov 2016 I too was only on suppositories, however this FET before my fire vag I was on BOTH, PIO was every 3rd day and then became everyday with all my issues and stopping the crinone. what @BusinessWife told you is correct my RE told me the same thing...Its a new study that just came out why I was using both.

Thanks everyone for the positive thoughts and well wishes today.
My RE also told me the same thing about the benefits of PIO with FET, initially I was prescribed PIO my first cycle, but then she switched me to Crinone very easily because of my discomfort from the injections. But she really pushed the ERA as she said their clinic had seen better numbers from PIO and there as more research arising that was pointing to that, and I got a receptive in my second ERA with the PIO, so hopefully this changes helps us see our positive this month!
My FET went well today, I usually drink too much too quickly that while I wait (they are usually 30 minutes behind), I have to partially empty my bladder 2-3 times. This time, I decided to drink more slowly, and they still had me wait 40 minutes, I felt almost perfect going into the transfer room, but the ultrasound tech said it needed to be a little fuller (although she did note it was filling very quickly). Well I guess they overbooked people (there were 5 of us in the waiting room with only 1 RE on), so they moved onto someone else. Within 2-3 minutes I was starting to feel pretty full, and had to wait another 25 minutes before they came back and the ultrasound tech admitted I was VERY full (and really uncomfortable). But the procedure itself went great, the picture of the embryo is definitely the most hatching one we've ever had at transfer time and my RE said it's the highest rated we've had before transfer too. The ultrasound tech also stated that my lining "looks beautiful" and everyone seemed very excited that it "went perfectly." Let's just hope the stars have aligned and the extra 2 days of progesterone have done the trick.
Beta is scheduled for 10/12, and I am really hoping to hold out until then. I have a busy weekend and a really busy work week next week including a couple important early morning meetings so am afraid if I do test and it is a BFN it'd make it hard to get through the day and if it's BFP I would also have a hard time getting through the day. On the 12th, my current plan is to wait for call (it usually comes around 2-3 PM), and I will be heading to class (I am in graduate school), so I plan on letting it go to VM and will listen to it with my DH when I get home that night. I have heard other women do that and always think of what a nice plan that is, very comforting whatever the results. I am at peace with that today and just hope the next 10 days pass fairly quickly. But I am also going to try and stay positive each day and tell myself "for today, I am pregnant, so just enjoy it."
Hope your transfer went well 20T, and how's everyone's prep going, is anyone starting progesterone soon?
I had my day 9 stims u/bw today. Estradiol went up from 400 on Friday to 1236. LH and progesterone are normal. Follies size is about 9. Does that sound ok?
@bethann1022 congrats on being PUPO!!! Glad it went well. I also plan to drink slower next time. Last time I drank fast and had to pee before transfer (after it was delayed)

@maggier79 I think the number depends on the number of follies you have. The more follies you have, the larger that number would be. So I don’t think there is really good or bad. Anyway, it’s been almost a year since I’ve done IVF.

Thanks, @Bababatty! We were pretty bummed (especially after a success with our first FET), but are hoping this round will be successful. We didn't do PGS since our Retrieval was so successful, and now that they've all been frozen for a couple of years, just feel it's too risky to do it now ... so just hoping for a positive this time!

Happy to have you here, and hoping for the best for you with this transfer, @MamaK225. We are aiming for a transfer on 10/14 but will know more on Friday (second lining check) on whether we will be able to choose our transfer date. @prudence9-2 As for my FET prep, my DH required me to do at least 2 sets of basic squats daily, increased calcium intake, sleep before 11pm and heating my body esp my hands and feet (I take some Chinese herbs).

Bababatty I wanted to add that you should ask your RE about it. For my fresh transfer which was nov 2016 I too was only on suppositories, however this FET before my fire vag I was on BOTH, PIO was every 3rd day and then became everyday with all my issues and stopping the crinone. what @BusinessWife told you is correct my RE told me the same thing...Its a new study that just came out why I was using both.

My RE also told me the same thing about the benefits of PIO with FET, initially I was prescribed PIO my first cycle, but then she switched me to Crinone very easily because of my discomfort from the injections. But she really pushed the ERA as she said their clinic had seen better numbers from PIO and there as more research arising that was pointing to that, and I got a receptive in my second ERA with the PIO, so hopefully this changes helps us see our positive this month!
My FET went well today, I usually drink too much too quickly that while I wait (they are usually 30 minutes behind), I have to partially empty my bladder 2-3 times. This time, I decided to drink more slowly, and they still had me wait 40 minutes, I felt almost perfect going into the transfer room, but the ultrasound tech said it needed to be a little fuller (although she did note it was filling very quickly). Well I guess they overbooked people (there were 5 of us in the waiting room with only 1 RE on), so they moved onto someone else. Within 2-3 minutes I was starting to feel pretty full, and had to wait another 25 minutes before they came back and the ultrasound tech admitted I was VERY full (and really uncomfortable). But the procedure itself went great, the picture of the embryo is definitely the most hatching one we've ever had at transfer time and my RE said it's the highest rated we've had before transfer too. The ultrasound tech also stated that my lining "looks beautiful" and everyone seemed very excited that it "went perfectly." Let's just hope the stars have aligned and the extra 2 days of progesterone have done the trick.
Beta is scheduled for 10/12, and I am really hoping to hold out until then. I have a busy weekend and a really busy work week next week including a couple important early morning meetings so am afraid if I do test and it is a BFN it'd make it hard to get through the day and if it's BFP I would also have a hard time getting through the day. On the 12th, my current plan is to wait for call (it usually comes around 2-3 PM), and I will be heading to class (I am in graduate school), so I plan on letting it go to VM and will listen to it with my DH when I get home that night. I have heard other women do that and always think of what a nice plan that is, very comforting whatever the results. I am at peace with that today and just hope the next 10 days pass fairly quickly. But I am also going to try and stay positive each day and tell myself "for today, I am pregnant, so just enjoy it."

@maggier79 I think the number depends on the number of follies you have. The more follies you have, the larger that number would be. So I don’t think there is really good or bad. Anyway, it’s been almost a year since I’ve done IVF.
