@mjpbarretto sorry to hear that! I've been having not so good two days myself. But tomorrow is my baseline. And they will probably tell me to start with the estrogen patches. And once you start with that, the headaches usually go away!!!

@Bababatty. Yay for normal SHG!!!! That's how they found the polyp in my last one, so now we'll be doing the polypectomy prior to FET. Definitely better not to have to deal with THAT!

Just an update.... I take my last birth control tonight. Finally! I've been on these damn pills since August. It's my 4th day of Lupron and it's been horrible to me. Lost of nausea and headaches.

@miketx83 tough to say. Everyone is so different, every cycle is so different. The nurse said to me "most" but I have read more like "half." That was true for us. Of the 18 collected, 10 were mature, 6 fertilized, and 3 made it to freeze. So 50% of the ones that fertilized. :/ could be more - we may also have sperm issues at play since we are using surgically retrieved sperm - could be less since I suppose I have seen some cycles just don't get lucky. :/ I believe the technical medical term you're looking for is, "crapshoot." Lol. But seriously, probably half that fertilize should fx make it to freeze. GL!!!!! *typos

@miketx83 We had 26 eggs retrieved, and between the immature ones, the ones that didn't fertilize, and the two that PGS testing revealed to be abnormal, we ended up with 11 total 5-day blasts. I agree with @BusinessWife that 50% seems to be a decent average.

AFM, I had my lining check this morning, 10.1, so waiting for blood work results and as long as they are within normal range, I expect I will be starting PIO with transfer on 10/1, starting to get nervous as the date nears and really trying to remain hopeful that the new ERA rests (need 6 days of PIO), will yield positive results.
I started meds Saturday and had my first ultrasound this morning. Uterine lining was fine and no cyst found. I will get results on follicles later tonight. Should I expect any growth after 2 days of medication?

@bethann1022 That is great news! I'm happy to hear things are progressing so well for your transfer.
@miketx83 Yes, I'd say you should expect to see growth although how much I don't know. My RE didn't do a follie check for 6 days after I started stims and obviously by then there was substantial growth. So don't be discouraged if it seems like less than you want.
Hey all, today is my first day of "full flow," (pretty much my least favorite term ever) and my baselines for FET #2 are on Wednesday. Fingers crossed that my lining cooperates, as you can see in my sig that I have had issues with lining thickness in the past.
@BusinessWife Any updates on your embryos? Hoping you get a baker's dozen if not more! Will you be doing PGS?

Summer 2014 IUI (with first husband): cancelled after almost a month of stims due to too many follicles
Time off to divorce, get back on my feet, find a new hubby and get married again 💑
March 2017 IVF#1: ~70 follicles, 13R, 10M, 7F, 3B = 2 PGS Normal (both XY) - no transfer due to ohss
Sept 2017 FET#1: BFP, Beta#1 (10dpt) - 253, Beta#2 (12dpt) - 528, DS born 05/31/2018 👨👩👦
Dec 2019 FET#2: BFN
Changed clinic, planning March 2020 IVF#2 - postponed due to the pandemic
April 2020 IVF #2: ~30 follicles, 24R, 12M, 8F, 4B = 2XY & 2XX, all normal
Sept 2020 FET#3: one XX embryo, BFP, Beta#1 (9dpt) - 161, Beta#2 (11dpt) - 519, Beta#3 (19dpt) - 7174, Due date 05/30/2021

@miketx83 it's hard to say. My last cycle I didn't have menopur. I was on follistim and hcg. I'm praying for good results for you
@prudence9-2 how much longer are you on lupron? Have you started your patches?
I continute with lupron until until I start PIO. So I still have at least 1.5-2 weeks

We just got home a little bit ago, and we are going to settle in and rest, but it went well! We know they were not all mature, and we have to wait til Monday for the fert report but...

So praying for beautiful fertilization, and thinking of them especially around noontime when my lil girls get to meet their boyfriends!!! :D

I just read the posts I missed yesterday. I got super busy because I had to finish writing some papers for my MA! I can't believe I chose to enroll this semester, the same time as I started my IVF! What was I thinking??? Lol
Anyway, October is coming really soon!!! I'm getting so excited! ((Hugs)) to everyone!!!

AFM, I had my lining check this morning, 10.1, so waiting for blood work results and as long as they are within normal range, I expect I will be starting PIO with transfer on 10/1, starting to get nervous as the date nears and really trying to remain hopeful that the new ERA rests (need 6 days of PIO), will yield positive results.

@miketx83 Yes, I'd say you should expect to see growth although how much I don't know. My RE didn't do a follie check for 6 days after I started stims and obviously by then there was substantial growth. So don't be discouraged if it seems like less than you want.
@BusinessWife Any updates on your embryos? Hoping you get a baker's dozen if not more! Will you be doing PGS?
