    TW* Hey ladies, I wish I had better news but it looks like I am going through CP or early MC. I was cramping more than ussual today and decided to POAS to "cheer myself up". Well... second line is barely there now, and it was a blazing BFP Friday afternoon. Second beta tomorrow but I am not optimistic. I feel like ths is happening because I was so cocky and happy with our first cycle being a success. I started freaking planning the baby announcement! Life is a F****ng cruel joke!

    @DecemberDoll27 Aw lady, I'm so sorry you're feeling this way.  It's so hard not to think that because of something it somehow caused a certain outcome it but that's just not the case.  I do it all the time so I'm not one to talk, but just try to keep your head up.  I'm still praying for the best for you.     @DecemberDoll27 I'm sure thats very scary and discouraging for sure!!!  BUT try to stay calm!!  I had a friend that was already past an US and I told her to take a test cause its so exciting to finally see that positive line!!!  Well she did and I dont think a second line was barely visible and she now has a healthy baby girl.  I know its scary.  maybe its a faulty test everyones hcg changes through this process.  Hoping for a good outcome!!

    @DecemberDoll27 I really hope you’re wrong and am hoping for the best.  Certainly don’t feel like you’ve done anything - there’s very little we can actually control in most of this - a lot is just luck, unfortunately.  Still hope you’re wrong!  >>>hugs<<<

    @emmasemm and @latvaughanash I’m guessing I signed something at some point saying I’d accept info by vm and text?  Since I work in a cube farm text works better for me than phone call anyway.  I’m actually not too fussy about privacy stuff (within limits) - I figure most people are far too concerned with themselves to care anything about me.  I actually sort of wish more people would talk about infertility (just to raise awareness), but it it’s a personal choice.

    @decemberdoll27 keeping everything crossed for the second beta today. Then you should have a better idea. You know as well as we all do it could be ok. And HPTs aren't accurate with very high HCG either. We are with you, you're not alone. And you haven't been cocky, you were excited about getting happy news - that is just normal  <3

    @cmiller73 sounds like great symptoms (you know what I mean...!) Thursday is going to be a crazy day with Beta and going away!

    @cxsimo08 good to hear you're calling the doctor re the hives - we don't want you ending up with a fire vag like @hopeful_mom! But fx it's just a sign your body is working

    @hopeful_mom I'm surprised after they've cleared out your vag that you're not more comfortable down there already... did you stop all crinone now? They're not still making you take that once per day are they??? 
    And my beta seems a bit "late" because my little emby was transferred on day 2, and Friday will be 16 days post ER, and my doc likes to only test on 16... So for example if you had a 5dt then he would test 11 days after ET. 
    Fx that your third beta is well on track today!

    @latvaughanash pleased I'm not the only one who ha as a DH who thinks his sperm has super powers! 

    @artemis618 I also wish it wasn't so hush hush in terms of education and understanding, but on the other hand if people at work knew it would have big consequences as here if they know you're planning for a family then you are skipped for promotions, bonuses etc because most women take minimum one year off work. As we've been TTC for more than 2.5 years if I had been open at work about it then I would have had no career progression and still no baby. Keeping my career moving forward helped me to have something else to focus on. Legally, nobody will state the reason for overlooking you is family planning, but they can always find a reason another candidate has been selected. And as for family and friends knowing - I have to say at the moment I could not handle people asking me every day during TWW if we know if it was successful or not. So I guess that's maybe two reasons which contribute to it not being so openly discussed... 

    Otherwise, I'm still trying to push through the progesterone side effects and getting BFNs every day...

    For those of you doing or considering PGS this podcast might be worth a listen.

    I've read and listened to a lot over the last 6 months since we knew we would move to IVF, and found this one of the most balanced pieces I've seen or heard in all that time. Dawn the presenter might not be the best interviewer (or often makes her life difficult by having two interviewees and all three of them in different locations!) but I think she manages to cover the main questions without too much bias.

    @DecemberDoll27 I'm so sorry, I hope you are wrong! You were excited, there's nothing wrong with that and it is not the cause of anything. Fingers crossed for you today, I hope you get some good news! 

    @emmasemm my two options before transfer were a) test every day until beta or b) don't test at all until beta. I knew myself well enough to know anything in between would make the 2ww harder. So I obviously went with not testing until beta and was doing good until Saturday. Saturday I'd seen some ladies in another group that had transfered a day after me and were getting positives so it made me really want to test. But like I said, I knew that I wouldn't take a negative well, even if it was too early. So I didn't test then and DH is working at the ER the next 2 days so I won't be testing without him home. So looks like i"ll be waiting until beta day to either test myself that morning or just wait until results. When is your beta? 

    @jaygrand I did a fresh transfer and my RE had a much higher success rate with fresh over FET. I think it depends on the clinic and the doctor! 

    AFM 2 days out from beta (wednesday morning) and getting excited. I've tried not to symptom spot and being on progesterone has made that somewhat easier since it can account for a lot of my symptoms. I've been having really vivid dreams, been really really tired, and been crampy but all of those things can relate to PIO. The only one I still haven't been able to find a good explanation for is the bumps on my bbs. Someone had mentioned hcg but by the time these showed up it was after the trigger should have been out of my system so I'm hoping it's a good sign! I made DH look at them and tell me I wasn't crazy (he confirmed), the things we do in the 2ww :grimace: I'll have 2 hours in the car the next 2 nights to think about it and beta as I drive to get my trigger shot done :expressionless:

    I'm curious as to people's experiences after ER... I'm still feeling some discomfort if my bladder is full or if I need to go the bathroom even a little bit, but have just assumed it's kind of normal, as 4 days is still not that long for everything to be recovered in there. Does anyone remember how long after it took to feel 100%? I feel like I need to call and just mention it this morning since my transfer is tomorrow, and if it was concerning I would definitely want to discuss with my doctor! Not really looking forward to having my bladder full because the discomfort level is much more than normal!

    Thank you all for kind words, TW * second line was almost non existant this morning, waiting for second beta result and guidance on what' s to come. Crying in bed all morning. DH is upset but super supportive. I still have 3 embryos frozen, so it is not the end of the road. And I had 48 hours of complete and absolute happiness following my first beta so I am thankful for that* TW

    @latvaughanash I was the same way. TBH I just within the last 2 days or so have started to be able to sleep more than 5 hours without discomfort from needing to pee. (So 9 days or so after ER). THat being said, it stopped being at the stage you are in probably about a week after ER for me. I did a 3dt and I won't say the full bladder was very comfortable (I had to pee 3 times to get it down to the right size so I way overfilled mine) but it's doable. It does take some times for your body to get back to itself, I still wake up from needing to pee which I never used to because it's still I think a little sensitive. But little by little each day was a bit easier so hopefully by tomorrow it won't be so uncomfortable!

    Oh no @DecemberDoll27 I'm so sorry to hear it. These things are so unfair. I will hope for a miracle for you, but know that we are here for you no matter what happens <3 Thinking of you friend.

    @latvaughanash I'm the same...still very uncomfortable when I pee and my left ovary still hurts a LOT. @loverin thanks for the reassurance it will get better.

    @decemberdoll27 you are in my thoughts all day and we will be here for you. Whichever way it goes. Though I am keeping everything crossed that it's not what you think.

    @latvaughanash I don't know what for me was from ER, what from ET and what from meds. But I am still waking at least once in the night to pee and can't go more than a few hours during the day. I don't have a UTI (I was at my RA and he wanted to test my urine for diabetes so I got them to check for a UTI too!) and it doesn't feel the same as a UTI - the discomfort is more holding it in. I also over-filled my bladder for ET like @loverin and had to try to half empty (easier said than done!!!) - if you've drunk a pint of water in the hour before I think you should be fine.

    @loverin I was exactly the same as you, it was either no testing or every day - and I'm going to see it through now. Tomorrow I will use the FRER too. Though I haven't yet figured how to pee on two different sticks both with FMU... 
    Are you driving over to DH at work for your PIO shots the next two days?

    Ugh just talked to my RE office and they told me that because I'm doing my blood work outside of the hospital where the office is (Insurance covers it) then it MAY be wednesday when I know the results but it may not be, it may be thursday. Those of you who have been through this, how long did it take to hear back?

    loverin awwww thats frustrating!!  As long as I get to the office on time for my bw i get the results back that day, but I do mine at the clinic so thats probably why too.  I'm really hoping they will get it together.

    emmasemm you're funny :)  I wish it was something I did so I could still keep doing it ;)  This weekend was yom kipper which is the day of atonement for jews...you fast for about 25/26hrs and ask for forgiveness.  So I was in temple praying a bit fri and sat so I'd like to think I'm heard and my prayers are being answered :)  Its funny I really dont think of myself as such a religious person yet I really do sound like one huh  :D

    Hey guys, my second beta was 49, going again tomorrow but for now they say it is a CP. Going to stop the drugs after the result tomorrow, have a period and schedule FET.
    I wish you all to get your sticky BFP's soon! I will be lurking but probably not post because I am bitter and negative right now.

    @DecemberDoll27 Aw lady, I'm so sorry you have to go through that.  Please feel free to be outwardly angry and sad or whatever you want on this thread.  We're here for you! I feel like it's one of the only safe spaces to really express how you're feeling and be understood.  Praying for your three little ice skaters (or hockey players?).  FET has great success rates so try and hold on to that.  Thinking of you and sending you love!

    @DecemberDoll27 We aren't sure yet...depends on how long all our embryo testing takes. I'm guessing early November, though.

    @emmasemm  your words brought tears to my eyes, because it's so true.  This journey brings an awful lot of mad and sad it seems, with moments of joy peppered throughout, just enough to keep hope afloat.  I'm so sorry about your stupid test.  Will be hoping beyond hope something changes.  And if not, you know I'll be cheering you on every step of the way if you take a mulligan. (((Hugs)))

    Thanks @emmanemm to say that I'm terrified for today would be an understatement.  As you guys know I have never had any eggs to freeze and we really can't afford to do another IVF so I literally feel like everything I am is riding on today.  I'm shaking just writing this and trying to remind myself to trust in God's plan.
