Tell me I'm not the worst mom ever

So I put DD down for some tummy time on her playmat. She is gaining pretty good control of her head and she had it lifted pretty high when I put her down. Well she dropped her head down pretty fast a bit after and got crying. She wasn't screaming or anything but she cried for a few minutes as I settled her. Logically I know she is probably fine - her mat is soft, she is still alert and following things with her eyes, she didn't scream, and she is still trying to lift her head and moving around. But he very anxious part of me is afraid that something could be wrong.

Can I just have some hugs please? I'm not the worst, right?

Not even close to being the worst mom! My LO bashes her head against my face and clavicle at least twice a day. And I know it hurts her b/c it hurts me!!! *hugs*

My LO does this too. Babies are resilient...if only moms were too!

Thanks ladies. I'm feeling better now after talking with my mom. It is so hard not to worry about every little thing.

I felt the same last week when my LO smacked her head off my clavicle. She cried hard for a few minutes and I wanted to cry for her. They are tougher than we think, it's just hard on us moms!

DD smacked her head against my chin last week and cried for a few minutes, but then she was fine and cooing after that. Babies definitely are more resilient than we think! I know it's hard to see our babies hurt, though.
