@amynico I'm so sorry to hear about your BFN. I was so hopeful for you given it was your one shot. This world doesn't make sense to me sometimes. I understand the dilemma you are in with your in laws and paying for another cycle. Take some time to think about it. The worst part of infertility can be the times when you are doing nothing! I've heard "It starts with the egg" is a good read for peeps like like us. Not saying it's the answer but maybe you could feel like you are actively doing something while you take your take your time in deciding your next steps. Sending hugs.

TWW sucks! I'm obsessing over reading about early symptoms online, but the majority of very early symptoms are about spiking progesterone, which isn't going to happen in my fully medicated cycle with quiet ovaries Today is my 3dp6dt, and I woke up at 6am, feeling very congested and nauseous. I was instantly on my phone googling the earliest the pregnancy nausea could start - apparently it's still way too early. I have a little bit of cramping, but I can't tell if it's just my body adjusting to switching to PIO. And it is so minor, might be more psychological than physical. It's still a whole week till I go for a blood test (and I might have to wait for the result for 2 more days, depending on if the reproductive clinic will be open on the weekend for anyone's retrieval or transfer). DH said it'd be a bad idea to do HPT before the blood, but I might still do it later next week. Time will tell.

Parents more then anything usually want happiness for their children at any cost. You know how happy having a grandchild will make them. Trust I understand your feelings but try not to be so closed off! I hope your journey to motherhood will be an easier one soon!!

FuzzyDust I am in love with your post right now I guess today i'm considered 5dpt and first my vag is bothering me from the crinone 2x a day I think i'm to sensitive to it soooo I think its PIO for me everyday now with crinone 1x a day and 2mg still of estrace. I did crinone for my fresh transfer but I don't get what the issue is this time around. I took a shower and just ran cold water to try and get relief. I would like to think the pain from this is taking my mind off other symptoms i'm having!! I was pretty nauseous this am actually and know its too soon, 6 wks to the day is when that started with twins. I keep reminding myself its one so its ok if i'm not feeling the same things prior. I actually thought my boobs felt a tad sore for a sec and got excited...talk about grasping at straws My BW came back with E2 at 617 and Prog at 8.1 so i was switching to PIO every to her day anyway. They say these numbers mean nothing and I dont have anything else to compare it to. Lets continue on the symptom roller coaster!!

@hopefulmom wed will come before you know it. I did use POAS 2 days before my beta-though I said I was going to hold out lol. My dd was not thru ivf. I guess I have what is called secondary infertility. I am on PIO & have grown to live with it. I warm up the shot before I inject myself & numb the area. Then I massage the area with a warm rice bag. So far so good....

@Mewkie I read "It Starts with the Egg" and made a lot of changes 4 months prior to my 3rd retrieval and we had so much more success that 3rd cycle so I definitely suggest making changes because it might help.
@Hopeful_mom Can't wait to here how your beta goes in a few days! My transfer is this upcoming Friday. I start progesterone shots tomorrow night. Going to let my husband give the first but won't be surprised if I take over eventually since I'm more comfortable doing them. I've been pretty tired, getting hot easily and a bit emotional from the Lupron and estrogen so we shall see how I react to progesterone.

Hopeful_mom, sorry to hear you're having problems with Crinone. I used it once/day before they switched me to PIO. It's been 3 days since the last one, and I still have bits and pieced of funky white stuff coming out (sorry for the tmi). As much as I hate the shots, they are much cleaner.
@HottLemonade2886 - I can't imagine giving myself the PIO. I told DH that if he's not there to do it, I just won't be able to myself. Good luck with that!

FuzzyDust i have no desire to do PIO myself either, I actually rely on my wonderful sister to do it! Yes crinone is messy but thats not what bothers me most - this irritating burn I could do with out I don't know what else to do I'm just praying it doesn't effect the baby!

Ok, I'm cheating. I POAS today. It's early - only 4dp6dt, and it wasn't my first morning urine (and it looked very clear, so definitely not concentrated). Also, those are my very very old tests that expired in 2015. I still got the control line bright and clear - no second line... yet. I believe in my little bean, so I'll probably be re-testing again in a few days.

@amynico and @crystal321 I was so sad to see your news and my heart is aching for you on this crazy emotional rollercoaster. I still have hope for you both and know how much you deserve to have better news.
afm I had an eventful morning **TW my spotting earlier this week had stopped and then came back with a vengeance this morning. This time bright red blood, not a lot but not a little either, but not enough to soak a pad, and cramps. I was sure I was miscarrying. Called my RE and she had me come in for ultrasound and thankfully everything looked great. They saw the yolk sac and a fetal pole, no hematoma, everything measuring on time and reassuring. I guess bleeding and spotting is more common with IVF. They're putting me on pelvic rest. Sent labs that I won't get back until tomorrow. Probably another ultrasound Thursday to check on things. Scary morning but trying to catch my breath and relax a little now. Hubs came with me a we both cried with relief. I know it's still early and anything can happen. For the moment trying to stay positive.**

Medicallyblonde OMG that is sooo scary so glad everything is ok!!! I know its so hard to stay positive but you did have a great follow up and it does happen for some. Glad theres no cramping thats important!! Personal question have you had any intercourse? Hoping some rest will calm everything down for you!!
AFM: Was up at 7a in pain and first fell bac asleep a few hours later...I literally want to rip my vag off!! I heard bac from my RE and he agrees I'm having a reaction to the crinone (my vag is very sensitive..I"m rare I"m sure anyone else taking it will be fine!!) and I think for now will switch to just PIO and see how that goes. We already know my butt will not thank me but it is what it is...this is killing me to no end. The only good thing is he reminded me this can't hurt my pnut just me...so that makes me feel a lil better.

@Hopeful_mom no sex, I've been too nervous this week and was told no sex since the spotting started, so it started out of nowhere. No heavy lifting or strenuous exercise either.
@Magallyta I'm 5wks 2days today. The gestational sac measured just over that (yay). I'm not gonna be able to relax until I see a heartbeat - hopefully next week.

Hopeful_mom I heard this before from other people on suppositories. It's because thanks to progesterone, there is more blood flow to vagina, so everything gets way more sensitive down there. As much as I wanted to say away from shots, I'm kinda glad I was switched to PIO. Hope your butt can tolerate it every day better than the pain you feel right now.
I knew my test way way too early. I wasn't expecting it to be anything, especially since it's 2 years expired. I just wanted to satisfy my compulsive desire, and it did help. I believe in my magic bean, so no disappointments with the result so far

@Hopeful_mom I had the crinone reaction too!! It was awful! I felt better the next day after going off it and was never so happy to see that PIO needle. Ha!

AFM beta today was negative. I am sad and disappointed but trying to focus on the positive things I have in my life. God is good and with time it will all be ok. Sending lots of good vibes to the ladies who are PUPO or waiting to transfer. Thanks for all the support throughout the cycle ladies.

I woke up at 5am, needing to go to bathroom. Sneakily thinking - it's the "first morning urine", so I quietly take out one of my long-expired pregnancy tests, do the deed, and wait. After 4-5 mins, I don't see even a hint of the second line. Fine, it's still waaay early to test positive, I stash the test in a bathroom cabinet, and go back to sleep. Back in bed I'm having very hard time falling asleep, as I'm feeling very nauseous. So I finally get up at 7am, and go back to the bathroom, pull the test back out to discard (sneakily, so DH doesn't know I tested), and I see a second line!!! What???!!!! Ok, test say - if you look at it much later, it can be false positive. Right away I POAS again (a different one, of course), wait my 5 mins - no line. Ok, Ok, I don't know, Is the test expired? was the fist one with the extra line because of the 2 hours wait?
*TW* I drive to work, stopping by Wallgreens get a First Response test - it's 5 times more sensitive than the normal HPT. Test as soon as I get to work. And there is a second line!!! it's super faint, but it's definitely there, there is no mistaking it!!!! OMG!!!! I bought 3 more tests (one is digital, will probably take later), so I'll test a few more times before my Beta. I'm hoping and praying that the line will stay and just get darker with every day. I'm so very cautiously optimistic

I'm kind of annoyed with myself for not testing sooner now to see whats going on with me. I do an ovulation test and an hpt as thats what i did the last time and it worked...not so much for me today I have a friend that made it black and white or whatever that trick is and she swears she sees something...for 7tpt I think it should be there BUT I'm taking my own advice and will try to still have some hope...
I keep wondering if all my vag issues did not help the situation!!

Hopeful_mom, thank you! And please don't lose hope! It's still pretty early, and most tests can only detect 20-25mIU/hCG. The one I tried is supposed to be 5mIU/hCG. It also depends on the time of the implantation, which can occur up to 12 days post ovulation, and then it takes a few more days to show up on a test. You're one of the most supportive and positive members on this forum, I'm having all my toes and fingers crossed for you!

FuzzyDust i'm trying its just hard when you know that lil pumpkin is more ahead being a 5dt as opposed to the 3dt i did. I also had twins so the hcg was stronger. Lets pray it just took an extra day or two to get all snuggly in there. You start reading all these stats and it makes you sad being part of the 40 club all over again.

It's been 3 days of just constant pain!! I just took some Benadryl and it has not kicked in yet, praying it will soon. Not sure why the dr didn't tell me this first thing that is was ok to take etc. I can't function hoping ur feeling better and no more bleeding!!

I stopped the crinone 4 days ago and i still want to rip my vag off, i can't!! And lets add that i look like i just went through puberty with a scratchy throat to add into the mix, i have to be pregnant right.
I did test again and I got a squinter I mean its sssssuper faint BUT it is there so let pray this nugget is in the right spot and my beta comes back good!! At least its another day of hope so lets keep praying for me sticky bean, come on!!!

AFM - I'm bloated beyond belief. And last night I had to pee 5 times - I think the bloating is pressing on everything right now - bladder, lungs, stomach. I suspect that it's what's causing morning sickness too. Like a clock - 6am is "feeling like puking" time. Yesterday I couldn't get comfortable at work, so I left early, went straight to Target and got one of those "maternity pants". OMG - I should have totally done that when going through IVF and carrying around those 70 follicles!!! This is day and night, and all my swelling fits comfortably without having to unbutton anything. As uncomfortable as this feels - I've never felt so happy in my life about being bloated and nauseous Saturday (Beta date) can't come soon enough.

Officially PUPO! Eeeeek. Everything went great and transferred one PGS tested boy. Got a picture of it going into the uterus. Beta will be in 10 days. Fingers crossed.
TTC 4 years. 7 failed IUI's with either Clomid, Femara and/or Trigger Shots. Started IVF journey in February 2017. Polyps removed in May. 1st IVF Transfer September 26th. BFP. Expected due date 6/14/18. Baby boy born 5/25/18 at 6 lb 9 oz. My bundle of joy.

I'm obsessing over reading about early symptoms online, but the majority of very early symptoms are about spiking progesterone, which isn't going to happen in my fully medicated cycle with quiet ovaries
Today is my 3dp6dt, and I woke up at 6am, feeling very congested and nauseous. I was instantly on my phone googling the earliest the pregnancy nausea could start - apparently it's still way too early.
I have a little bit of cramping, but I can't tell if it's just my body adjusting to switching to PIO. And it is so minor, might be more psychological than physical.
It's still a whole week till I go for a blood test (and I might have to wait for the result for 2 more days, depending on if the reproductive clinic will be open on the weekend for anyone's retrieval or transfer). DH said it'd be a bad idea to do HPT before the blood, but I might still do it later next week. Time will tell.

FuzzyDust I am in love with your post right now I guess today i'm considered 5dpt and first my vag is bothering me from the crinone 2x a day I think i'm to sensitive to it soooo I think its PIO for me everyday now with crinone 1x a day and 2mg still of estrace. I did crinone for my fresh transfer but I don't get what the issue is this time around. I took a shower and just ran cold water to try and get relief. I would like to think the pain from this is taking my mind off other symptoms i'm having!! I was pretty nauseous this am actually and know its too soon, 6 wks to the day is when that started with twins. I keep reminding myself its one so its ok if i'm not feeling the same things prior. I actually thought my boobs felt a tad sore for a sec and got excited...talk about grasping at straws
My BW came back with E2 at 617 and Prog at 8.1 so i was switching to PIO every to her day anyway. They say these numbers mean nothing and I dont have anything else to compare it to. Lets continue on the symptom roller coaster!!

@Mewkie I read "It Starts with the Egg" and made a lot of changes 4 months prior to my 3rd retrieval and we had so much more success that 3rd cycle so I definitely suggest making changes because it might help.
@Hopeful_mom Can't wait to here how your beta goes in a few days! My transfer is this upcoming Friday. I start progesterone shots tomorrow night. Going to let my husband give the first but won't be surprised if I take over eventually since I'm more comfortable doing them. I've been pretty tired, getting hot easily and a bit emotional from the Lupron and estrogen so we shall see how I react to progesterone.

afm I had an eventful morning **TW my spotting earlier this week had stopped and then came back with a vengeance this morning. This time bright red blood, not a lot but not a little either, but not enough to soak a pad, and cramps. I was sure I was miscarrying. Called my RE and she had me come in for ultrasound and thankfully everything looked great. They saw the yolk sac and a fetal pole, no hematoma, everything measuring on time and reassuring. I guess bleeding and spotting is more common with IVF. They're putting me on pelvic rest. Sent labs that I won't get back until tomorrow. Probably another ultrasound Thursday to check on things. Scary morning but trying to catch my breath and relax a little now. Hubs came with me a we both cried with relief. I know it's still early and anything can happen. For the moment trying to stay positive.**

AFM: Was up at 7a in pain and first fell bac asleep a few hours later...I literally want to rip my vag off!! I heard bac from my RE and he agrees I'm having a reaction to the crinone (my vag is very sensitive..I"m rare I"m sure anyone else taking it will be fine!!) and I think for now will switch to just PIO and see how that goes. We already know my butt will not thank me but it is what it is...this is killing me to no end. The only good thing is he reminded me this can't hurt my pnut just me...so that makes me feel a lil better.

Hopeful_mom I heard this before from other people on suppositories. It's because thanks to progesterone, there is more blood flow to vagina, so everything gets way more sensitive down there. As much as I wanted to say away from shots, I'm kinda glad I was switched to PIO. Hope your butt can tolerate it every day better than the pain you feel right now.
I knew my test way way too early. I wasn't expecting it to be anything, especially since it's 2 years expired. I just wanted to satisfy my compulsive desire, and it did help. I believe in my magic bean, so no disappointments with the result so far
I'm still a bit crampy, and I'm very bloated. I'm talking to my emby every day, telling it to grab on stronger and grow bigger.

@Hopeful_mom I had the crinone reaction too!! It was awful! I felt better the next day after going off it and was never so happy to see that PIO needle. Ha!

Today is 5dp6dt.
I woke up at 5am, needing to go to bathroom. Sneakily thinking - it's the "first morning urine", so I quietly take out one of my long-expired pregnancy tests, do the deed, and wait. After 4-5 mins, I don't see even a hint of the second line. Fine, it's still waaay early to test positive, I stash the test in a bathroom cabinet, and go back to sleep. Back in bed I'm having very hard time falling asleep, as I'm feeling very nauseous. So I finally get up at 7am, and go back to the bathroom, pull the test back out to discard (sneakily, so DH doesn't know I tested), and I see a second line!!! What???!!!! Ok, test say - if you look at it much later, it can be false positive.
Right away I POAS again (a different one, of course), wait my 5 mins - no line. Ok, Ok, I don't know, Is the test expired? was the fist one with the extra line because of the 2 hours wait?

I drive to work, stopping by Wallgreens get a First Response test - it's 5 times more sensitive than the normal HPT. Test as soon as I get to work. And there is a second line!!! it's super faint, but it's definitely there, there is no mistaking it!!!! OMG!!!!
I bought 3 more tests (one is digital, will probably take later), so I'll test a few more times before my Beta. I'm hoping and praying that the line will stay and just get darker with every day. I'm so very cautiously optimistic

I'm kind of annoyed with myself for not testing sooner now to see whats going on with me. I do an ovulation test and an hpt as thats what i did the last time and it worked...not so much for me today
I keep wondering if all my vag issues did not help the situation!!

And please don't lose hope! It's still pretty early, and most tests can only detect 20-25mIU/hCG. The one I tried is supposed to be 5mIU/hCG.
It also depends on the time of the implantation, which can occur up to 12 days post ovulation, and then it takes a few more days to show up on a test.

I stopped the crinone 4 days ago and i still want to rip my vag off, i can't!! And lets add that i look like i just went through puberty with a scratchy throat to add into the mix, i have to be pregnant right.
I did test again and I got a squinter I mean its sssssuper faint BUT it is there so let pray this nugget is in the right spot and my beta comes back good!! At least its another day of hope so lets keep praying for me sticky bean, come on!!!

AFM - I'm bloated beyond belief. And last night I had to pee 5 times - I think the bloating is pressing on everything right now - bladder, lungs, stomach. I suspect that it's what's causing morning sickness too. Like a clock - 6am is "feeling like puking" time. Yesterday I couldn't get comfortable at work, so I left early, went straight to Target and got one of those "maternity pants". OMG - I should have totally done that when going through IVF and carrying around those 70 follicles!!! This is day and night, and all my swelling fits comfortably without having to unbutton anything.
As uncomfortable as this feels - I've never felt so happy in my life about being bloated and nauseous
