Right now I'm a stay at home mom and trying to start up a small business where I'm building and selling gaming computers... just finished my first rig to sell (I used to do this a long time ago as well). Before I had my kid though I was a construction manager at a residential construction company
@Hopeful_mom I just had my hormone level bloodwork (estrogen, progesterone and TSH) yesterday - 6 days post-transfer. TSH seems to be the test they usually run at baseline but I haven't ever had it checked a second time in the middle of a FET cycle because I've never made it to a transfer. I can't imagine your RE isn't checking your thyroid along with everything else. Do you have a patient portal where they send your blood work results?
Also congratulations on your transfer yesterday! Fingers crossed for you

@Hopeful_mom Most of the time the patient portal makes me want to jump off a bridge, so I actually think with my level of anxiety that being without one would be better for me. I literally have a spreadsheet that I made with all my bloodwork and ultrasound results, what the normal ranges are, and what the corresponding follicles/lining thickness were with the data. I'm like a crazy person.
sarcasticowl can u make one for me I thought I kept ok notes but ur da bomb! I was more concerned with my follie growth.

@Mewkie this is too early, so don't let that negative disappoint you!

Going on 12 days past transfer. I still haven't done a HPT. Last night I would have sworn up and down I was pregnant (I kept getting my classic symptoms), but today I felt nothing. I get my blood tested on friday though, so I am trying to stay positive.
@Crystal321 I feel the same way. Monday I felt so bummed cause I just knew I wasn't and then yesterday I was like, well maybe because my stomach was all weird and I felt exhausted. It's definitely my mind and these f***king shots. Yesterday I took the PIO and the estradiol and I think that's what made me feel like maybe. I can't wait until Friday. Friday will be such a big day for a lot of us. Good luck! Fx crossed that we all get BFP!! @Mewkie 4 days is super early! Hold on to the idea that you are! Positive thoughts!!
@FuzzyDust good luck today! Congratulations on PUPO!
So, definitely POAS this morning and definitely got a BFN. It's 8dp5dt and I figure I should at least have a faint positive by this point. Pretty sure I'm out, but beta is tomorrow and we'll know for sure
At the risk of sounding like a total sap, I just wanted to thank everyone on this thread for being so awesome and supportive over the past couple of weeks. Though I'm not expecting good news tomorrow, I feel less devastated knowing that you're all here cheering each other on and checking in every day. It's an awesome group and I appreciate all the responses and positivity
@Magallyta I almost cracked and bought a test for the same reason today. It's hard for me to tell if symptoms are real or just caused by the progesterone. Fingers crossed for a good outcome
@Magallyta I felt kind of nauseous in the shower this morning but it passed, and I've been lightheaded and kind of shaky today, but with the glaring white BFN this morning, I'd think if these were pregnancy symptoms I would have enough hCG to register on a First Response (it's not a FRER, but really, would that make a difference?). The really awful thing about IVF and FET is all these hormones give us symptoms that traditionally would signal a pregnancy, and it's hard to trust your body. I've never been able to not trust my body up until now and it's unnerving.
sarcasticowl ugh I wish you had that squinter but you're not out so try and stay hopeful! Remember I had twins and I barely had a squinter I"m just hoping for late implantation!!
Good luck to everyone doing betas this week!!! Really looking forward to seeing good news from all!!!
@Crystal321 you're a warrior 12 days I don't think I can hold out that long...I"m super scared even just after 2 days!
Magallyta try to stay calm as i'm trying todo... my boobs were sore pretty soon so i'm freaked literally 2 days later that theyre not yet...who wishes for sore boobs
I know you all keep saying propgestrone causes symptoms like what? I did PIO last night so does that cause stronger symptoms. I dont know a part of me really thinks its working!!! My tummy is out of whack for sure...but that could just be the great diet I'm doing

@hopeful_mom yah the progesterone once it starts building up can cause some of the symptoms to appear, even if you're not pregnant. For example, they give me the crazy vivid dreams
@hopeful_mom I'm pretty sure my sore boobs happened once I was a few days into taking the PIO, which is odd because you assume it's going to be an estrogen thing. I also started getting kind of lightheaded at random times once I was on it for a few days. I've been on it for two weeks and the sore boobs vanished. They pop back up every once in awhile but not as bad as before, where brushing up against them is almost agonizing.
I AM PUPO!!! I don't feel any different, and I don't think that the idea of an embryo inside my uterus has sunk in yet.
About an hour before the transfer the embryologist sent me a picture of my beautiful successfully thawed little embie. It took two tries - after the first attempt the sticky guy was left in the catheter. My MA said that every time she saw this happen, the transfer resulted in a pregnancy - not bad for an omen It felt like a party in the operation room - over the years of coming to this clinic I formed strong bonds with quite a few members. We the doctor, 2 nurses, MS, the embryologist + me. then we all took a selfie together still on the operation table
Hope everyone is doing well today. Lots of Betas are coming up this week!

@FuzzyDust glad you had a good experience! Hopefully it will result in a baby
I love my clinic for this same reason. Everyone has always been super friendly, and the doctor is a personable guy. This last time (FET), he caught me offguard. Right before we went into the OR he asked me what music I like. I'm like ??? I didn't know why he was asking, but apparently he has started playing music for people while doing the procedure. I couldn't think on the spot (early in the a.m., nerves, etc.) So my husband answered for me that I like nine inch nails a lot. Turns out the doctor is a fan too, so we all had a long talk about the band. I don't know, but I just love stuff like that when you're seen as a person as well as a client.
My Progesterone blood test result just came in, and now I'm freaking out. I'm not sure what normal is, but mine is 2.7, which sounds waaaay low. I hears numbers like 20-50, even 70, being thrown around, but 2.7 is just not even close to anything. I won't know what it means until the clinic calls me tomorrow morning (saw result in online profile), so for now I'm just hoping that my little guy still has a chance. Will I need to double suppositories? Maybe try PIO? Aaa! the wait and not knowing is the worst!
Do you guys mind sharing what your progesterone was at the transfer day?

@FuzzyDust I'm am so happy that your transfer went well and your clinic was so cool! As far as the hormones, I can't help. I'm not sure my levels have even been checked. From what I understand I think I'm taking the highest amount PIO (2ml). My blood hasn't been drawn since 3 days before transfer. It's 9 days past transfer.

It's definitely my mind and these f***king shots. Yesterday I took the PIO and the estradiol and I think that's what made me feel like maybe. I can't wait until Friday. Friday will be such a big day for a lot of us. Good luck! Fx crossed that we all get BFP!!

Also, zits.
My MA said that every time she saw this happen, the transfer resulted in a pregnancy - not bad for an omen
It felt like a party in the operation room - over the years of coming to this clinic I formed strong bonds with quite a few members. We the doctor, 2 nurses, MS, the embryologist + me. then we all took a selfie together still on the operation table
Hope everyone is doing well today. Lots of Betas are coming up this week!
