So I haven't been feeling sick the last few days but I have noticed that I just can't eat much. I don't have aversions to food, I just can't handle more then a few bites here and there of whatever I'm eating. I feel full really fast. Has anyone else experienced this?

YESS!!!!! I noticed this the last few days! I cant finish anything lately and if I push myself to do so, I end up throwing it all up!
The MS continues. I'm tired and occasionally irritable when the exhaustion gets too intense. I definitely feel like I'm not eating or drinking enough because my stomach feels uneasy all the time. I threw up yesterday after just having a sip of water. Also getting some back and round ligament pain. I also look huge-- a mixture of bloat and I think the beginnings of a real bump. Honestly hard to hide already! Overall like double or triple the symptoms I had with DS at this stage. Doctors appointment on Friday. Looking forward to discussing all of this.
@JJMNO1616 I'm definitely not able to eat as much as I usually do. It's been like this for me for a few weeks. It's been really frustrating because I eat maybe half or two thirds of what I'd normally eat at a meal, which is a hard adjustment. If I eat too much, my stomach hurts and I feel so bloated and miserable. This week I feel like maybe I've just finally started to adjust/listen to my body because it doesn't feel quite as hard/weird to eat less.

I've started vomiting last night despite the max dose of diclegis. I was hoping to avoid that part this time around but it doesn't looks like it hopefully it was just a fluke and won't need some IV fluids. I hate first tri

Glad I'm not the only one! It seems weird to me considering everyone else seems to be wanting to eat more.
Of course I finally bought Preggie Pops and I think a lot of my nausea has subsided, lol. We'll see. My boobs are hurting less now too. I'm hungry like every 2 hours and aside from waking up to pee 1-2 times a night, I have to get up and get a snack too.
I am the exact same! I had had awful all day morning sickness since week 6, im now coming up2 10 weeks. I can barely eat anything and the smell of most foods and even my house strangely enough makes me vomit! My hubby had to buy different fragranced air freshners 2 c if that can help. Ive been on 2 lots of anti sickness but they just limit the symptoms. Have to say i hope the sickness stops soon as im getting down now and as in already a emotional wreck this isnt helping! Hoping my scan will come through in the next few weeks.
Morning sickness has been even worse this go around (I didn't think it was possible). Since 9 weeks I have had a complete aversion to any food and drink. I know I need it but can never get more than...half of a kids serving. Zoforan did not help and there is no way I am paying $400 for diclegis. Well I tried to muscle through it and make myself keep eating/drinking a little at a time. It didn't work! Ended up in ER last night (OB's orders) and had to take IV nausea meds and 2 L of fluids. Lesson learned if your anti-nausea meds aren't doing the trick talk to your OB sooner than later. I got different meds and learned via ER doc how to make diclegis via the same ingredients for $14 with over the counter stuff.
I seem to be in a holding pattern. I've had a general sick feeling for over a week now... intermittent nausea, tiredness, shakiness... like a hangover that won't go away. But still no food aversions or puking. I'm 6w2d. We'll see how long this lasts.
It seems like *everyone* reports sore boobs, and I haven't had that at all, but I do think they're starting to get bigger. Some spillage out of the bra starting this weekend, lol.
History (TW/loss/child):

Just when I think the severe nausea has subsided after a few good days, it rears its ugly head. I'm thankful for the good days at least. Although, I no longer have to keep stuffing my face with food to have it subside nor do I wake up with it immediately. So let's say it's improving. Fingers crossed as I'm only 8w2d.
Also, I've been soooo tired the last few days. I've been taking naps when I could and am still in bed by 8/9pm. I'll take tired over nausea though!
hang in there mamas. It's a rough first tri but after suffering hyperemesis with my first, I can assure you, it does get better.
I'm dealing with a sinus infection so that's intensified the nausea from the post nasal drip. And the coughing. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be wearing a diaper by third tri if I'm already peeing my pants from intense coughing fits now.

Oh the ms is BAD. I think I have HG again. Last time I lost 17 lbs in my first tri, this time, I've had ms for less than a week and I'm already down 2 lbs. I got a liter of IV fluids yesterday. Also, nothing like your toddler staring over your shoulder into the toilet as you puke, and then as you step away she starts spitting into the toilet to copy.

@bagowater Right there with you about the toddler mimicking! I was dry heaving into a waste basket and I thought my toddler would be upset seeing that but I looked up at her and she just made puking sounds and smiled! Ha ha
MS sickness really hit last week. It's an all day yucky feeling and I only feel ok in the evening. Super bloated and super crampy (probably due to progesterone suppositories I take at night). Beyond exhausted and I feel really guilty about not doing more with my toddler these days. I'm a SAHM and she and I have a weekly schedule that I just can't stick with here lately.
I'm on week 8 and am starving all the time! Then I take a few bites and almost throw up...is this normal? The nausea coupled with hunger...I feel like I could eat a horse...should I eat? Or follow the nausea feeling and only eat salteens? Also...baby hates chocolate...all chocolate...it's its father...
MS going strong for about 4 weeks now... 9w2d today. Its the 24/7 variety and is slowly killing me :P I'm fortunately not throwing up every day, so I'm maintaining weight though not gaining which I need to (only 100lbs to start with). It makes it very hard to hide this from my 4 and 2 year olds still though... Tonight I left my 4 year old going potty one last time to run downstairs to throw up and then run back upstairs to finish her bedtime routine including singing 2 songs... Nothing like singing lullabies and trying to act happy/cheerful with the taste of throw up in your mouth and burning your throat. I'm ready for 2nd trimester already...
My MS is getting worse and worse as each day passes. Im now throwing up 2-3 times a day edit- i threw up 4 times yesterday whether I eat or not. I see my nutritionist tomorrow, so we'll see how my weight is doing with it all. The MS and throwing up is just adding to my fatigue which sucks. I have to take my DD to an Orthapedic appointment tomorrow (shes okay, just walking kind of funny) and I'm just praying I can keep it all together and not get sick in her appointment.
I'm in the same boat as you guys with the MS. I was in the ER last night and got 2L of IV Fluids. did anyone feel worse after the IV? Cause I felt like a truck had hit me
The nausea has been on and off for me. If it hits, its mostly at night, but I still haven't thrown up. However, yesterday I had almost zero symptoms other than random shooting pain in my bbs. Its funny because I kept complaining to DH how I just want to feel normal for one day. That one day was yesterday (and today so far) and now I'm worried that somethings wrong bc my symptoms aren't there.
@mellie5909 totally! I got 2L and during the first 2/3 of it I constantly felt like I was going to hurl. It wasn't until 20minutes after it was completed I started to feel better. But the IV actually gave me a wicked headache.
I am lucky that my MS doesn't lead to vomiting, but I am almost constantly nauseated. Most foods don't seem good, and the smells of garlic or onions can send me into a full day of not wanting to eat.
I feel like a truck has hit me by 3pm every day. This Labor Day weekend was a nightmare because my hubby was away for most of it, and my parents (our go-to babysitters) are out of town. I ended up being....less than happy with my husband, since at least 50% of him being gone was so he could go screw around with buddies. It was awful, and I am happy to be at work. I might leave early to go home and sit alone a few hours.
Constantly nauseated with vomiting occasionally. This whole Labor Day weekend was ruined because I was either laying on the couch or sitting on the bathroom floor. I also have no energy, like none. I didn't know this kind of laziness existed.
@ngolimento I'm in the same boat. No vomiting, which I should be thankful for, but the nausea is awful and all food sounds like actual garbage. Eating anything at all is such a chore right now.
I'm also really, incredibly moody this time around. I spent most of yesterday fighting with DH, and ended up crying for no reason by the evening. I feel like a crazy person.
MS seems to be getting worse, getting more tired. Ready to be out of the 1st trimester.
@kaymaroo I'm with you - I had an incredibly moody weekend and cried about going to work this morning because I didn't want to take DS to daycare. Ugh.
Nausea has been minimal for me so far, thankfully. I get the occasional wave of... almost like a motion sick feeling... here and there. Seems to happen when I'm really hungry or extremely full, or when there's a smell bothering me. Sore boobs are a constant, and bloating. My major complaint is the exhaustion. I'm consistently getting 8-10 hours of sleep every night and still need a nap after work. I sometimes have trouble keeping my eyes open during the day, and I get winded and exhausted after the smallest tasks, like folding a basket of laundry.
@onesmallcoconut Fries were the only thing that helped my morning sickness last week! I had them two days in a row! They stopped working this week however. Sad face.
Third pregnancy and this is the first time I have had to deal with nausea. Ugh.. and the heartburn is already so bad. I didn't have it with my first and only at the end with my second, but this one, as soon as I eat anything, no matter what it is I have heartburn the rest of the day. I can't seem to shake it. Anyone have any natural remedies I could try?
