  • @madspunk Almost definitely would have been avoided. It's the result of an untreated infection.. they sent me home with a diagnosed internal infection three times, and it was only treated when I ended up in the ER with a high fever and seeing things and the ER doctor circumvented the OBGYN. The problematic scarring is only on the side of the infection,which is why there are concerns about how it would impact how I carried IF I managed to get pregnant...
    It's just a hot mess in there, and I am MAD about it, but trying to deal with it.

  • @Sailing_Mama It's really hard to tell. I've heard PCOS can give false positive OPKs, and I am TERRIBLE at temping. I get some phsyical O symptoms, but haven't been able to nail down 100% if I for sure O, or when exactly. So short version, I dunno haha.

    Sorry you're nervous about your HSG! I know everybody's body responds differently, but I was super nervous for mine, and only had minor discomfort. However, wanting someone along for moral support makes a lot of sense as well. Whatever you end up doing, FX you have good results from both the HSG and your H's SA. Are you taking any meds for your long cycles?
  • Thanks everyone <3 We are very lucky in a bunch of ways, and I keep trying to count my blessings. The scar tissue has been seen on an US - twice now. So we have a confirmed diagnosis, really before we were even looking to TTC - We had a diagnosis made when the doctor put in my mirena and went to check the placement, so as we got closer to when we wanted to ideally TTC, we at least already knew there was a problem.  A confirmed diagnosis even before you start TTC is a huge blessing if you are going to have this type of problem, and on my good days I remember that.

  • @tamalahoops that's good to know!! My husband is self employed so I carry the insurance for us but in my profession I have to work for a hospital to get access to health insurance cause all agencies pay FFS or as independent contractors. Wouldn't be a bad idea to work part time to get access to insurance and then work in the setting I chose. Thanks for sharing!
  • @tamalahoops that's great! Good luck!

  • @leekat14 GL with stims!
    @kiwi2628 I'm so sorry that insurance is forcing you guys to do more cycles before IVF
    @suchaglencoco Sorry for the nightmares
    @tamalahoops Hugs
    @Hollyyyyy Yeah it's similar to Rent the Runway but for everyday sorts of clothes. You pay per a month instead of based on individual items though. Sorry for the extra long cycle
    @olliegolly I'm sure there's an app. I more want to be able to keep all the paperwork contained. I have anxiety and it gets worse if I feel like I don't have everything together.
    @emmasemm Welcome I'm sorry you're here and I hope your stay is short
    @beachbunnyxo123 FX that this new protocol does the trick

  • The progesterone level would tell them what phase of your cycle you were in.  It stays very low pre-ovulation, but rises after so maybe it's got something to do with that.  Not sure with annovulatory cycles what they expect to see?
    @purplg8r
  • @BusinessWife and @JuneRoseRuby I am so excited for both of you!
  • Tw- loss and children mentioned

    @JuneRoseRuby, maybe we're the oddballs! We did a fresh cycle, froze 3 embryos, got pregnant with identical twins, lost our twins, and didn't do our fet for like 5 months. We didn't pay freezer fees at all. We didn't start to get billed until I was like 10 or 11 weeks with our fet twins.
    We also pay monthly and just got notice that its been almost 3 years so they're doubling our fee come November. Hopefully since we should be "current patients" by then, they'll wave the fee again.
