Last week's U/S was rescheduled for tomorrow, so (hopefully) I will finally get to see my LO. It's hard for my PGAL brain to get past thinking that this will be just the same as last time, but I'm trying to stay positive...

I have two ultrasounds this week - I'm at one now, waiting to go back, and one on Friday. The RE wants one a week until I am released to the OB and she wasn't available last Friday.
RIP Dr. Irving Fishman - 10/1/19-7/25/10 - thank you for holding on for me. You made my wedding day complete.
I have my (hopefully) last ultrasound with my RE on Friday, I'll be 7 weeks. I can't seem to get out of the pgal mindset that something will go wrong. But up until now everything has been good, so I just have to make it until Friday!
I have my first appointment on Friday. I am hoping they will go ahead and do an ultrasound to ease some of my fears. This is my first pregnancy after a loss.
@MrsF1017 GL today! @saisongbird Wow, two in one week! Enjoy! @ngolimento I'll be thinking of you today, can't wait for an update! Did your spotting from last week go away?

I have my first sono and visit with the OB on Wednesday. I am SO nervous. After over 4 1/2 years trying and dealing with secondary IF, including several losses, I'm just hoping and praying everything is okay and there's a heartbeat!
Me (33). DH (37). DD (2.2012). MCs x4. After 4 years & 7 months, due 4.2018!

Thank you! Yes it did! I was so excited that it resolved without much bleeding at all, and never turned red.
First appointment was intake with the nurse this morning and it took FOREVER. Anxiously waiting for my appointment with the OB doctor and U/S in 2 weeks
I have my first "real" ob appt tomorrow. I'll be 8w2d and hope to hear a hb. This is my third baby and i honestly can't remember if I'll hear it or not. I saw baby via u/s about 1.5 weeks ago so I'm anxious for signs of life to hold me through these next few weeks. I hate 1st tri.
@hedgepig I have an US tomorrow too! It was supposed to be my first but they called me in a week and a half ago concerned about my levels and I got a sneak peak then. Hopefully this helps put your PGAL mind at ease!
@ngolimento so glad to hear your spotting resolved itself!!
I am scheduled to see the ob for the first time on Wednesday. The nurse on the phone wasn't sure if they would do an ultrasound or try the Doppler at 9 weeks, considering I had an ultrasound at 7 weeks. I am not sure I could bear leaving the office without some sort of proof of life. I feel like one more good ultrasound would really help me accept that this is happening for real. Good luck to all you ladies this week!
Have my first appointment this evening. The nurse who made my appointment said today is just a confirmatory visit and they may or may not do an ultrasound. I so hope they do an ultrasound otherwise I can just confirm at my house with the same pregnancy test they are going to do!
I had my first appointment this morning. I was so excited and nervous after experiencing a loss earlier this year. I thought I'd for sure have an ultrasound done since I did MC a few months back but nope it was just the normal confirmatory appointment and I scheduled my ultrasound for next Wednesday morning (I'll be 8+6). I was so bummed I really wanted to see this little one and make sure it was nestled in nice and snug! Now to wait another week and a half.
I don't know where else to post the update, so am posting here. I got my beta results back and it went up to 3361! So it is doubling just like it should! So relieved.
I have my first "real" appt with the OB on Friday where they do all the physical type checks. I also have my first ultrasound right before that appt. I can't wait! 4 more days is too long, lol. I want to know everything is going ok in there I need to see baby to make it feel more real! Then I'll know exactly how many weeks/days I am and have a solid due date. If everything is good, we'll FB announce to the rest of our families/friends.
Whoah Nelly, I had a bit more involved appt today than I expected. I did end up getting a pap smear (I was due for it anyway). They had to get personal with me and use the wand since I am under 10 weeks. I got to see the little heart beat, and the doc was really impressed that I had the due date exactly accurate (yay BBT monitoring!).
Have an ultrasound on Wednesday! My MW wants to make sure everything is progressing normally since my previous ultrasound 2 weeks ago. Getting pregnant with an IUD really screws things up. If all seems well, it's a high-risk pregnancy no more!
Question: I was told to arrive with a full bladder, but the appointment is first thing in the morning and I always wake up in the middle of the night to pee. Should I chug a bunch of water as soon as I wake up? (My first ultrasound was internal, so I didn't have to deal with any of this.)
@vannesmarshall I remember being told to arrive with a full bladder before, but this time they didn't say to so I didn't. They did both abdominal and transvaginal, and they were able to still see things for the abdominal
ETA: I would try to drink something but not go crazy, because they seem to do pretty well anyway
@vannesmarshall When I had to go to an U/S with a full bladder I was told to drink 32 oz of water starting 1 hr before my appt. Worked perfectly for me.

@hedgepig everything went great! Saw the baby and heard the heartbeat. A strong 162 bpm. We go back in 2 weeks for the more in depth appointment and another US.
