@hedgepig thanks for asking! Appt went great. EDD was adjusted. She's thinking I O'd a little later than I thought. I go back in another 2 weeks for another U/S to make sure everything is progressing since all we really saw yesterday was the yolk sac.
@vannesmarshall I worked right alongside ultrasound techs for years. Their instructions were to drink 32 oz of water within 15 minutes an hour before the test.
Mine was super uneventful. Paperwork, prior pregnancies/delivery history. They didn't try to hear the hb today which i kinda knew but was hoping for anyway. So of course i am sulking. Next ob appt in 4 weeks. I need to schedule bloodwork and my sequential screening prior to that according to my paperwork.

my appt went really well! We had another ultrasound and our little bean is measuring at 8+4 which is right in line with our last US (2 days ahead of LMP) with a hb of 175! Over the moon but am also preparing to tell the ILs this weekend so I'm feeling a bit nervous about that
Thanks for all your good thoughts ladies! I had a good U/S today, baby was measuring 6 days at 9w4d, so my new EDD is 3/30. They didn't do heart rate, but we could see the flicker, and the OB was happy. Pic in the U/S thread.

My first time posting in appts thread. Tomorrow I'll be 9w2d and have a third u/s at RE's office. They talked about starting to wean me from the progesterone meds. With DD, I graduated to reg OB at around 11wks so I'm guessing the same will happen this time.

Appointment went well! we saw the flickering heartbeat! Baby was measuring 2 days behind which is funny because it was the same with DS (still sure of O date because otherwise it means i would have tested positive at 7dpo and I'm not a unicorn ) I go back to the midwife in 2 weeks and to my MFM in 3 weeks for another US. They upped my dosage of diclegis to hopefully stop the vomiting!
Thanks for the well wishes @hedgepig and congrats on your great appointment too! Today I am 7w6d and my u/s went really well. Baby has grown and is measuring exactly 7w6d. His heart rate is up to 161 (was 105 at 6w). I have 2 more appts with my RE before I officially graduate. Seeing him today definitely helped with my pgal brain!!

So I drank 36oz of water when I woke up, almost immediately had to pee but managed to hold it, met with my US technician, who asked if I had a full bladder and I proudly told her yes, yes I do. To which she said I might want to go relieve myself, since I had been misinformed about it being an external US. *sigh* I had really been looking forward to not having my insides poked and prodded again.
But all looked well, just 3 days behind my own projected EDD. When she turned the screen on...it looked like a baby. Maybe my mind was playing tricks on me, but it looked like a baby. Not a blob. We saw arms and legs, and a flutter of a heartbeat. It was crazy. I did not expect that this early!
