Hey guys! I'm doing alright. We are going to start telling people this weekend, and I'm starting to get a bit paranoid. I'm really excited to tell people but I'm so nervous that it's so early (7 weeks) and I won't be getting an ultrasound until 11-12 weeks. All the loss talk on the board this week has not been helping either.
On a lighter note, the sex dreams have started and weird ones at that. I usually have pretty vivid dreams to begin with but this has been something else.

@justkeepswimming8 Wow is there a reason you have to wait so long for the ultra sound? I go in a 9 weeks and the wait has been killing me too! I have also been feeling pretty nervous this past week because of the loss. Turning 6 weeks today made me feel a bit better for the meantime.. I'm sure it won't last long though lol
@justkeepswimming8, gl with telling people, we have pretty much told everyone. Worst case scenario occurs, I wouldn't keep it a secret if people didn't know anyway, so I don't see the point of keeping it a secret.
AFM, I am ok. Had an ultrasound today, I should be 7 weeks. But they could only find a sack. My doctor isn't concerned, said my uterus was tilted and that the ultrasound tech wasn't able to get an good pictures of anything, so I go back next week.
Other than that, I am super nauseous. I can't believe I haven't thrown up yet, but certain it is coming.
@JJMNO1616 - I guess it's just normal for my practice. My SIL mentioned to me that in her first pregnancy and before she had to see an RE, her practice told her she wouldn't get one until 12 weeks so I guess it's normal here? It is nerve wrecking though. I'm pretty sure this is worse than the TWW lol

Hey guys!! Nothing really new to report here. I have another appointment on Tuesday so I am looking forward to that but anxious about it too. I think I will feel better if everything checks out on Tuesday...? I hope. Today is my Friday!! and I can't wait to go home and just relax. What is everyone up to this weekend?
@saralee797-2 I feel the same way about my first appointment... I think if I can just hear the heartbeat I will be able to relax but realistically I know I will probably come up with something else to worry about. lol
@justkeepswimming8 SO much worse then the TWW and I didn't think that was possible.
Has anyone heard from Lund recently? I haven't seen her post in about a week now? Hope everything is ok.
I'm not really participating on the board but can I hang out here pretty please?!
@justkeepswimming8 We've started telling people too and even though we've already had as US and another tomorrow, I still feel nervous! I think it's the norm to wait 11-12 weeks but most of the ladies from TTGP have early ultrasounds due to working with an RE.
@saralee797-2 I'm jealous it's your Friday! I'm working from home today and tomorrow though so I'm working from the couch Good luck on Tuesday!!
Me: 28 | DH: 33 EDD: March 24, 2018 - angel baby at 21 weeks
@JJMNO1616 I was just going to ask about Lund, I was starting to worry about her. Thanks for filling us in, @saralee797-2!
@justkeepswimming8 my BFF goes to a practice that doesn't do an ultrasound until 12ish weeks either, and the wait is killer. Hang in there!
@holly321 I said it in the other thread, but I'm so glad you have an OB that's helping keep you calm. All my positive thoughts your way.
@saralee797-2 do you have anything planned this weekend to help time pass quickly before your appt on Tuesday?
AFM, I had an appt this past Monday and seeing a normally-developing little tadpole has gone a LONG way in helping my anxiety. I know I have like 5 more weeks until the end of first tri, but mentally I'm feeling so much better.
In other news, we're having the siding replaced on our house, which is awesome, but it's SO NOISY. I've had to bring the kids to my parent's house for nap time and while it's great they can sleep here, I'm kind of missing relaxing at my own house. Nap time is the ONE time of day I get total solitude
@justkeepswimming8 That's about when my new OB wants me to get an ultrasound. My old OB did it at 8 weeks for dating. I figure if I make it to 10 weeks and have a slow day at work/full bladder, I might try to take a look transabdominally. I'm not flexible enough to do my own transvag Apparently some of the practices here don't do any scans until anatomy at 20 weeks. I would lose my mind. I haven't had any sex dreams yet but I have been having wicked night terrors. Woke up screaming around 2 am the last two nights and scared my poor husband to death.
@holly321 My nausea hit today for the first time. If you have a trader joe's near you, they have this ginger lemonade drink. They were sampling it today and it made the world of difference with my nausea. I bought three bottles.
@saralee797-2 Hubbie's coworker is having a house warming party so we're heading there Saturday. Think I might try to take my toddler downtown to the museum on Sunday. What are you up to?
@kmalls Ugh that would be frustrating to lose nap time. That's when I get most of my cleaning/housework done.
AFM, Made my first appointment for next month, I'll be 9w3d. Trying to make the most of my energy before the fatigue sets in. Getting all the little things done around the house that I've been putting off because I'm a horrible procrastinator. Took a donation to Goodwill and sorted through DD's too small clothing and put some away. I can't believe my 19 month old wears 3T now.

@justkeepswimming8 You are right, some OBs don't do ultrasounds until 12 weeks. Some places just have different protocols.
@holly321 hopefully your uterus will have moved a little bit next week and they can get a good imagine!
@saralee797-2 I have an appointment next Tuesday too. I'm hoping it will relieve a little bit of anxiety with it.
AFM nothing too much going on. I've been a bit more nauseated so I'm just trying to figure out what foods work well with me. We've told a couple people because it truly is hard to keep secret but we are waiting for our 8 week ultrasound next week to say anything to family. Our 6 week one looked great but pgal has made me a pessimistic person which really stinks.

Omg no way... I would go somewhere else! I couldn't imagine waiting that long.
@mispanda My H and I are also waiting until our ultra sound to tell any friends or family and it's SO hard. I have found myself telling random people like my hairstyles and my dentist lol It's just exciting to share the news with someone!
This weekend is my husband's birthday so we are going out for a nice dinner Saturday night. It's restaurant week in Houston so it's perfect timing to try a fancier restaurant. Other then that I will probably just hang out by the pool!
Hi All! Do you mind if I jump in? I wanted to wait until the second beta to start on a BMB, but so far so good! EDD is 4/25/17 from ovulation date. First ultrasound is 8/31. (I am only 4w2d). I cannot imagine waiting until 9+ weeks for an ultrasound. You ladies are strong!
Will be thinking good thoughts for those with appointments next week! @saralee797-2, @kmalls, @holly321. So excited to have such a good group over here!

@WillRunForWine21 we traded my cousins hulu password for our HBO password lol @hedgepig sorry you are feeling crummy! I know what you mean about aversions I'm feeling them more this week too. What kind of veggies are you growing? Our tomatoes didn't do so well but the peppers are growing well.
@saralee797-2 We have lots of tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, cucumbers and squash, plus some okra, kale and tomatillos. I did manage to make a homemade spaghetti sauce last night that used tomatoes and eggplant from the garden, so that made me feel a little better

@hedgepig@saralee797-2 I'm so impressed with people who garden. It's one of those things I really wish I was good at. My victory at the moment is keeping a basil plant alive (hubbie makes homemade pizza from scratch and uses fresh basil in the sauce. So much easier to just have a plant over buying fresh from the story which is bad in two days) and a mint plant (prior to my BFP I had mojitos 2-3 times per week, need to find another use for it).
We have a decent sized backyard for our neighborhood and Texas has good warm weather for growing, but I just lack the knowledge and motivation to get started.

I'm a little nervous today. Took another wandfo hpt this morning bc I have no self control. I was hoping it would ease my PGAL anxiety to see a dark positive bit it was just as faint as two days ago
My Dr office called and set up my u/s for 7+6 so at least it's not a loooong wait. Still waiting to hear back if I'll be able to do betas. I explained my concern so hopefully they will get back to me soon!
We wanted to tell family soon since they knew we were TTC and obviously know about our MC history. But MH is gone this weekend at Gencon (like Comicon but for board games) so we aren't telling people until we can do it together. I'm seeing my parents tonight and it's going to be so hardness to not tell them. But I'll have my toddler who keeps me running around and we'll have to leave early for bedtime so I won't have to hide any not-drinking
@cards10 I did the same thing shortly after my BFP and my test didn't get darker right away either. I was worried about it but after some googling I discovered it's not that uncommon. The darkness of the test isn't necessarily a indication of "how pregnant" you are. Also, as your HCG starts to rise there may actually be something called a "hook effect" that happens where the test stops detecting the HCG because of how high the levels are. So I would try not to worry about it too much although I know that's so much easier said then done.
@JJMNO1616 thanks, it's good to hear it's not just me. I don't think I'm at the "hook effect" stage yet, I'm only 4+2 today so that's still early but I'll try not to put stock into the darkness of the test.
I am considering it a win and my first symptom since my BFP... I just ugly cried at E! News talking about adopting unwanted dogs and cats. I never cry!
@cards10 I drove myself crazy with wondfos when I first got my BFP. They took forever to get darker than the original faint line I had gotten. I want to say it was a solid week before I could see a legit darkening. Hang in there, I know it's a huge mindfuck!
@cards10 yea my FRERS got darker right away but my wondfos didn't. I actually stopped using them because they were freaking me out and I was getting betas done anyway. I vote buy a different test or just don't test. You're pregnant!

Yes! I tested with a FRER the day after my BFP and I was surprised by how much darker the line was compared to the wondfo.. I took the FRER because my DH almost didn't even believe I was KU due to how faint the wondfo was!
@holly321 Virgin Mojito! That's an awesome idea. I'll try that tonight while we're watching TV.
@cards10 Ok I feel better than I'm not the only one freaking out that my wondfos aren't getting any darker. Otherwise I feel fine!
Guys! I'm such a little kid. The grocery story right by my house is having a carnival tomorrow including a petting zoo, face painting, free snacks and give aways for the kids. I love my neighborhood so much.

@hedgepig sorry you are feeling crummy! I know what you mean about aversions I'm feeling them more this week too. What kind of veggies are you growing? Our tomatoes didn't do so well but the peppers are growing well.

I'm so impressed with people who garden.

@holly321 GL at your next u/s, I hope you can see the little bean!
@kmalls yay little tadpole
@fishsticks-n-custard oh geez, I hope those night terrors subside! I had a lot of those last pregnancy but I think they were later on. That museum sounds fantastic! And all we grow is basil, too! We have two huge plants.
@JJMNO1616 enjoy YH bday!!
@WillRunForWine21 woo hoo! So happy you're here
@saralee797-2 totally going to steal that meeting-but-really-napping idea
@hedgepig GL with starting work, sorry you're feeling crummy. And that tomato sauce sounds delish!!
I am considering it a win and my first symptom since my BFP... I just ugly cried at E! News talking about adopting unwanted dogs and cats. I never cry!

ETA: omg @fishsticks-n-custard that carnival sounds so fun! Put on by a grocery store?! Wow
My ultrasound showed things progressing nicely yesterday! I'm passed my MC milestones so there's a little relief but now I just need to make it to the next appointment. Something tells me this pregnancy won't go as fast as I would like it to.
