We are not going to find out the sex. He wouldn't mind, but I want to be surprised. There are so few true surprises left in life : )
My thoughts exactly! I only found out after the MC and with running out of time became the obsession BUT I always use to feel that way since I was a kid actually.
Sorry DH has to miss it but my OH actually missed them too. Of course you can take video yes yes, do it! I'm still thrilled that I did! Don't be a stranger!

I'm a bit freaked out - took my hcg trigger and having the strangest reaction to it, have such numbness in my left arm. It hurt like when your arm falls asleep but it hurts to touch it too. Trying not to overact as dr google says it can happen...hoping it will go away and not be an issue! Annoyed im still waiting to hear back from my clinic!

SP128 yeah pretty scary night i must say and yes I maybe should've gone to the hospital but I did not and thank g-d I'm still here

Blood clots can be fatal I just didn't think that was the issue. My other Dr does believe that I am having an allergic reaction for whatever reason but the fact that its getting better and not worse means I should be fine AND more importantly it should NOT cause an issue for ER tomorrow...and lets be honest thats the main concern here.

Crazy that I've taken this shot 5x already and all good, yet this time there was an issue. It definitely feels off but at least not as intense as last night and its only in my hand and arm and not my leg. Always gotta worry about something!

@Hopeful_mom I'm usually the chick that just go with the flow especially with things I can't control so most of the time I'm in high spirits. I just try to be positive and be a positive light for others, in some way it makes me a better person, you know?

I want to see all of us win. I'm a cancer so I'm super emotional all the time and being connected to yal because of IF I feel like when yal win, I win as well. I love the lyrics that say " God is not like man, he has more than one blessing, So I'm encouraged that he soon will bless me too"....

That's my inspiration for this beautiful Sunday...

I had to jump back in here for this...... Did you guys see the lady that got 58 eggs retrieved, 44 mature and 28 frozen? Geeees Louis.... That is the largest number I have seen on TB.
I have got to learn her secret.... I serious felt my ovaries twinge when I read there... Probably telling me " don't even think about it woman"

mrsa2017 agreed on us all WINNING!!! for sure! I saw that post too and totally forgot to ask if she did PGS....that is pretty amazing! usually with numbers that high forget the OHSS but usually not as many make it to blasts so thats super awesome! Thinking about it if she did testing that even another hefty costs...g-d bless!!

Holls214 I was thinking about the bloating too...here I complain with under 10 I can't even imagine! Its odd cause this round of stemming wasn't as bad as previous ones but this aftermath is not cute! Don't you have your appt with ur RE this week? wed? keep us posted.

AFM: Glad ER is over, I was more nauseous coming to this round as well. They say that you're body going through something can just change on a whim like that...so I think my body is ready for the next step - a transfer right

Thrilled they got 7 golden eggs, yay! The Dr was like "i think we have 6 were looking at" and I'm like no, I think we have more like 6-8. SO he assured me he would get everything. However later on the head lab called and mentioned that one egg was ND, now I was still half out of it and confused and basically said it was a dead egg...

huh...not something you really want to hear. Not sure I mentioned but I used a frozen sample instead of fresh and I have to say that the motility was not as great after the thaw as they wanted so they did all icsi. Trying to stay positive and praying they will all have a good outcome. Guess the RE was right after all with my 6!

I have to say this is the most nauseous I have ever been this late in the day after this procedure. Its amazing how you can feel different every time. I think have the reaction to the trigger is just showing my body is a lil off with all the meds this round. All the numbness and nauseous must still be from the anesthesia.

mrsa2017 I wanted to mention that I find after ER Midol helps me better with the cramping then midol, just something to make a note of for yourself

I forgot so I took it now hope it will help!

Now rest rest rest young lady..... I hope you get majority of normies if not all (a girl can hope) and I am hopeful... So we can get you to FET soon.

Having PCOS scares me a bit between having an outrageous amount of eggs and developing OHSS. Good thing I already love Gatorade.

We still haven't decided on what to do with remaining embryos if we have a few left over... Decisions decisions

@Hopeful_mom thinking of you! 6 is great! Keep us posted. Hopefully you are able to get some rest.
@mrsa2017 I also have pcos and got moderate ohss. It was not too horrible. Just was seriously bloated and huge for weeks. It also hurt to pee. Make sure you have a plan to go number 2 also. Because that can help. I had to take a laxative on day 3.

@Holls214 yikes, hurt to pee?... Sounds like how I felt after my C sections.
What was your protocol again?... I read about this lady having PCOS and during her first IVF she did the antagonist protocol with menopur, follistim, ganirilex and trigger with lupron and something else (can't remember) and she did not do so well and her 1 good embryo she got a BFN.
But during her second cycle she switched her protocol to the micro something (forgot that too lol) and she did a lot better... I think she got 14 that time and 9 nine blast to freeze.
I guess I was just surprised that everyone who has PCOS doesn't get a large amount of eggs and embryos.

mrsa2017 i'm laughing at your post and reminded how different we all are! I did way better on the antagonist and so horrible on the microdose lurpon I had to switch it to an iui!

AFM: We know I got 7 but since one was a pooper from the beginning will say, out of the 6, 5 fertilized...I know I should be happy I'm just hella nervous! What is wrong with me? Maybe cause i know this is it...5 is better then 1,2,3,and 4. I think i'm stressing thinking they might not be as strong since there were a few more this cycle AND they keep reminding me his sample wasn't great. Which thats fine as most of my normies are the ones that were icsi'd only one normie is through IVF. However I repeatedly said to the Dr if the sample after the thaw is not good then he will give a fresh one. I think I'm mad at myself for not just giving it in....I don't know.

I'm annoyed at myself for being this stressed. Did I do everything right? I only got 2 acupuncture session in more toward the end of the cycle not the beginning, was it not enough?

Side note: I can't believe i'm still so crampy. Ive done this 6x and this cramping has lasted the longest now WTH! My head is first coming back to normal....definitely this round is taking the longest to bounce back from.

@mrsa2017 I did follistim, menapur and ganirelix. No Lupron. Seemed to create a bit. I had 26 follies, they only retrieved 12 and ended up with 8 embryos after PGS testing. I thought we would have had more retrieved but 8 embryos is fine.

@Hopeful_mom I guess it's normal feeling the way you do. This entire IVF process is stressful. I'm just hoping for more normies than anything else but this is definitely the end of the stimming and retrieval era for you..... Pop champagne

@Holls214 all I can say is different strokes for different folks even with the same condition... I won't expect to do Soooooo great because of PCOS to only be let down. I swear IF in itself is heartbreaking but we have options to still be happy and have what we pray for so I'm just going to pray for the best.

@mrsa2017 I saw that post with all those embryos too, I don't know that I'd even want to have to deal with deciding on that many!!!! I'm thankful to have 4 in the freezer, but I also feel pressured to use them all so none get left behind!!! I'm a little behind on this board, but do you have a start date yet or are you still doing consults?

AFM - 11 weeks today, but I'm still having a really hard time being happy about it. And then knowing I'm not overjoyed about this makes me feel even worse because it is all I've ever wanted. As much as I hated going to the RE so often, these 4 weeks between OB appointments is killing me!!! I want to tell people, but I cringe when anyone says congratulations or talks as if this is really happening..... hopefully next appointment I'll feel much more secure...

@KZ1126 We have one more consult (free) with a doctor at Barbados Fertility Clinic in a few weeks once I have sent over my BW. But we have already made our decision to go there and if this stupid fibroid isn't a hindrance, we'll start stimming in Feb. So these next few months are prep.

I think you haven't really wrapped your mind about really being pregnant yet. Once your in your second trimester I think you'll get used to it especially once you start feeling kicks. You are pregnant and the only help you needed is practically done with so consider yourself a normal pregnant woman lol. Take life one day at a day and just enjoy the experience. Once that bump really starts showing I think you'll feel it. It should be a very exciting time so just allow yourself to get there.

Which are the BMB i never saw those. Maybe you would feel more comfortable in the PAIF boards...you'll see some familiar names there i'm sure.

@KZ1126 just think how close you are to being in your 2nd tri. I know its really hard to be happy as you're just scared waiting for the next show to drop...i know it and loved it unfortunately. But for the right now everything looks perfect and moving int he right direction, so why not try and let that in? I'm hoping when we become bump buddies i will take my own advice here

I htink I will need to get a doppler to make me feel better in between the visits.

AFM: Just started a new job and i have a feeling its going to interfere with my FET time BUT I'm going to have to figure out how to not stress and work around it!
My Day 2 report is all my embabies are looking good! One is even ahead of the game at 5AB and the others are at 4 cell where they should be...I'm so relieved and praying tomorrows update will be just as promising!!!

@sp128 I have looked at the board, but it's like another world. Women POAS once, get a faint positive and Immediately find their due date and join the BMB... Just so different than my mindset throughout all this. Took me three betas to even believe I was pregnant!!! I know it's jealousy but their naivety is irritating to me hehe. Hope you have a wonderful ultrasound!

@Hopeful_mom we don't meet with the RE until the 22nd. Still on progesterone to induce a period. Exhausted.
Sounds like everyone has gotten good news. Congrats on the ultrasound. Congrats on the ER. Fingers crossed for some great embabies!

not as promising as I would've hoped but they're still in it and thats what counts!! I have a 8A, 8AB, 8B , 6B and a 4C. I was hoping the one at 5AB would've been a 10 today...you know i'm an over achiever and I like my girls to do the same

AFM: Of course I miss the clinic call by like 20 min seriously! At least one of the nurses was nice enough to give me the update. So far I've got one frostie, praying tomorrow i will get more to join this party!! ugh this process! Its so hard not to stress. I had a better response to meds and yet I only have one day 5 which is the worst day 5 from all my cycles

I'm already worried I won't get any back this cycle and I went through so much just to do it! You make so many decisions through this process and have to hope they're the right ones.

I had a crazy dream last night was pregnant 12 weeks with a baby that already had pigtails, wishful thinking shall we say

@Hopeful_mom thinking of you. A lady in my resolve group had no day 5's and ended up with 4 on day 6. Hoping you will have some more come around.
AFM I have had dizziness and anxiety since stopping all my meds. I just don't feel right. Thinking I'll need to see a doctor on Monday to see what's going on. Maybe my hormones or all out of whack or this process is just taking a toll on me mentally.

Holls214 ugh that sucks sorry you're not feeling well!! Are you drinking enough water? I'm first feeling more like myself today...a week since I first took my trigger. Are you getting enough sleep? I've been exhausted so I'm sure you're body is just trying to adjust with nothing in your system. Try and take it easy and take care of yourself.

Sleep is important and we dont get enough of it. Last night I must've been curled in a ball too much and had to straighten out to just fall asleep and relieve the pressure of cramping...who knows. I appreciate the positivity! lets hope!

Was feeling better and then worse last night...i'm like an old woman already.

@holls214 how r u feeling today??

AFM: So I had my day 5 embaby that was a 5AB which is promising. She then mentioned that the other 2 she did freeze and biopsy are pretty poor...gee thanks. I was half asleep when she even told me. I think she graded then a 4BC or a 4CB...which doesn't sound good and I'm confused how on a day 6 they're a grading of a 4. I'm glad I at least have something to test. She mentioned I still have one going and they'll let it go till Day 7 to see...shes doubtful but letting it still thrive if it can. Why I get frustrated not doing a fresh transfer as I believe my lil ones do better inside their mama

Dang I was hoping you got all 5 to send for testing but hopeful the other 2 are able to go by tomorrow.

AFM I am currently nursing a hangover (way too much rum punch) and this was my last hoorah for the summer lol. I am seeing my OB this week to get him to rewrite my requisition form for my initial blood work for the RE in Barbados. 7 test is almost $600

. I hope he won't put infertility smt because a few of the tests is things that the insurance can cover.

I'm just praying I can get a normie out of the bunch!!! So far I have 3 in total I believe that just all not A student this time around so we shall see, if my tardi egg perks up.

AFM: I'm just starting to worry i so dont want to go to the dr but i find myself having to brace myself every time i sit AND (TMI) now when I pee I'm feeling like a hot feeling sensation not burning, but something isn't feeling right. If I have a UTI i'm gonna freak out. Why must things start bothering me when I'm finally ready for an FET and I have so much work getting away for an appt will be so tough!

AND my boobs are feeling sore! Technically tomorrow is a week since ER so AF shouldn't be here for another week ugh!!!!

@mrsa2017 I agree that you can try to talk to doc about getting some of the blood word coded as medical instead of fertility. Such a scam. Same test but different prices. Hate managed care sometimes. Glad you had a good time at your last hoorah

Im not sure about the tests. The eclipse was really cool here in Oregon. Hopefully you got to enjoy it.

. I was hoping she atleast waited until I got my test form back from my OB just in case I needed to be in the midst of my cycle to do BW.
Dang I really hope I don't have to wait til next month again... That would suck whereas we are eager to speak to the RE in Barbados and start our time line.
It got slightly dark here in the Bahamas for about 30 mins and it seemed like the clouds were covering the sun really lol so basically we didn't catch much of it.
