@mrsa2017  Hey lady.  I'm pretty sure they tests my AMH when I was on Day 3 of my cycle.  My RE's office said that they can do it as late as Day 5.  You may be just in the right time - may need to hustle to get forms though.

My DH asked me a question about sex during the whole IVF cycle.  Can you ladies tell me when we will need to stop and when we're not suppose too get busy? He wants a time line that I can't really give.  I asked him if he wants a baby or to have a bust...  Priorities priorities

@mrsa2017 for mine you can basically have it anytime but protected sex. I didn't want to have sex while stims because of the bloating. A lot of times they put you on BC too. I know some protocols are different for after the transfer and not having sex for a while...

AFM just got off the phone with the doctor and we're starting our natural FET. Going to start OPK testing on cycle day 12, but probably 10. I don't want to risk ever missing it even though I ovulate late. Then go in for an ultrasound after a positive OPK and make sure we have a follicle. If we do then do a trigger shot and transfer 1 week later. So possibly doing a FET the week of September 9th. Hoping my body cooperates!

@Holls214 it's crazy knowing that I can never ever get pregnant naturally...  Sometimes it really fuxs with me to be honest and then other times I'm  good with it uuuugggghhh another life ain't fair moment. 

Okay Soooooo about this natural FET..  They need to make sure you ovulate so your lining is good for transfer?  How does that work,  I'm all ears lol

@mrsa2017 me too argh... yeah it basically just goes along with your natural cycle. The only med you take is a trigger shot and progesterone suppositories. Sounds way easier than medicated but you run the risk of your body not cooperating.

the risk of your body not cooperating is probably which most persons opt for medicated FET. I think you will do good and get a positive tho. Just stay on top of everything.

Those OPK reminds me of how I use to use a basal thermometer way back when and trying to check my CM, I honestly did not know wth I was doing hahahaha (I can laugh about it now )

hi ladies - i'm been crazed with work  Realized I didn't leave my update on my lil ones so here it is...it didn't change much but thats ok too!!  So I had my 5 fertilized, had a 5AB blast on day 5, then on day 6 i had another 2 blasts 4BC, quality means they were expanding but didn't start hatching...I was upset originally BUT healthy pregnancies still happen from these lil embabies so I shall still have hope.  My other 2 lil fighters they still watched on Day 7...I'm impressed with my girls that both were still in the running!  They pooped out in the end and stopped expanding BUT I loved that they fought!!!  So that makes another 3 for testing...praying theres normies to come back PLEASE!!!!  I can't say I'm not a lil disappointed I didn't get more to test since more eggs were retrieved this cycle...but it is what it is.

AFM: Just saw the RE and I am healing a bit slower this time ovaries are still a bit inflamed the right side is still quite large BUT should get better...so I"m hoping for the best!  Had some left over fluid as well...nothing abnormal which is what I want to hear just unfortunate my body didn't bounce back as fast. (TMI)  I do have a clogged follicle causing me extra pain so thats fun     Soon I will start estrace hopefully once AF arrives.  Got my consent paper work so we'll be one step closer...so many forms to sign.  We got this far dont get why theres another form that needs to be signed.

@Holls214 good thing we're still alive on here we can be FET buddies  I have a feeling I should be the week following you...i think.  Once AF show I'll have a better idea...definitely nervous.  I'm doing medicated so hopefully my body will be ready to go!!

@Hopeful_mom fingers and toes crossed for you! I also had fluid left over are ER that eventually went away. clogged follicle sounds painful... sorry!! I know we had to sign more forms too. Argh signing like signing for a house. So many forms! We should be close in timing yay! Hopefully AF shows up soon.  
I still have a stash of ovulation tests to use. A couple say they are expired though- you think those are still good only a couple months from the date?

@Hopeful_mom  - hoping for normies for you!!!  I did have one doctor who told me that embryo grading can be a complete toss up. Sometimes perfect ones don't work out, and ones that are graded lower end up being the healthy baby. 

@mrsa2017 - hahahaha whoever thought it was a good idea to tell women to check CM??  Honey does this look like egg whites to you or no??

@Hopeful_mom geesh! you might as well had had OHSS (thank God you didn't) but its been some time and you still aren't 100% on top of your work load now. Clogged follicle?! Sounds like how they describe having PCOS... 
Hopefully your girls behave at the other daycare and come back normal, normal, normal (Please God!)

@kz1126 LMAO I promise you I squawked just now at this work computer (egg whites) I am here picturing myself back then with CM between my fingers .. My coworker just asked me what I'm over here laughing at LOL.... Man I really don't miss pitching up at 9am (thanks to a set alarm) to check my body temperature for sure. 

I am not a morning person and I told my husband that since were are officially on baby countdown, that he needs to let me get as much sleep now as possible.

Holls214 my calendar goes through 9/14 eeeekkkkkk so I'm assuming its around there.  I go in 9/8 for bw & us to see where I am at and the next step.  I'm just doing estrace and upping it every few days...I was so hot last night so lets see how it goes...

@SP128 yaaaaaaay! It's always good to get those type of results and you can breathe just a tad bit easier. I'm doing good, actually going to order my supplements and prenatals. Unfortunately I didn't get my prescription back in time to do my tests for BFC ,so that we can have our over the phone consult with a doc, just have to wait til next months cycle grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. 

I'm upset because AF takes so darn long but in a way its good. That way another month has passed and we're closer to when we want to start our cycle (yaaaay) and I'll be a few weeks into taking the supplements.

Had a feeling my PGS results were in and from my Drs msg I could tell it wasn't good news.  Nothing came back normal from this batch so that's obviously upsetting to say the least.   It makes me so angry not to walk away with one good one after all that.  So much money and time...
yes I still have 5 good ones but there are no guarantees which makes it all that much tougher!  SO much for ending IVF on a high note.


@SP128 glad you got some good news!!  hope you're feeling well!

@Hopeful_mom I am so so sorry. Big hugs to you. I know it seems like a waste but you did all you could do. 5 good ones are still very good chances. I know Iran disappointing but try not to beat yourself up too much about it. 

@mrsa2017 I did a pregnancy announcement on PowerPoint last week. Dh didn't seem crazy about it. Said he was going to make one himself. Still waiting on that. As of right now, only a couple of my girlfriends know. I'm trying to hold off until 20 weeks and after the anatomy scan. Of course this is dependent on how big I get. 

Another month closer is another month closer !!!

Thank God for the lucky 5 that will give you your starting line up.  It's so hard not to get discouraged during this journey and sometimes life could be a SOB but all in all we gata keep pushing.  We're all rooting for you lady.

@mrsa2017  My pants already don't zip.......  Debatable if it is just bloat.  They told me the bloat would go away but I think they were lying.  
I'm most definitely going to hide as far along as I can.  I'm sure I'll announce when it is noticeable.  If you don't know me, then you would just think I had a little tummy.  If someone knows me well, I think it is noticeable.

KZ1126 since i'm an old bat they would normally transfer 2  BUT since I had the MC with twins they want me to do only one especially since we know they are normal.  OH only wants me to do one as well.  Originally I so wanted to do 2 thinking I would have so many normies to play with.  This transfer we will do one and pray its my miracle!!! How are you feeling?  Any MS?  How many did you transfer again?

SP128 do you wear any dresses?  I'm sure a lil sundress would hide the bloat.  Its crazy I"m bigger now then when I was carrying twins.  Only I was starting to see my bump...now everyone can see my bump but got not baby yet!  I feel like now I'll be able to hide it for quite some time!  How are you feeling?  MS? Any cravings?

The both of you are in your 30's and I believe didn't do pgs testing i'm so jealous of that...I would think I had so many more eggs to play with if I didn't do the testing!  Its extra frustrating as I was TTC in my upper 30's and really shouldn't have waited as long as I have to go to the DR then maybe I wouldn't be struggling as much as I am.

mrsa2017 I know 5 sounds like a lot and it is to some when they can't even get one, I know BUT this is also 7 IUIs and now 8 cycles of IVF so its hard to stay positive.

I'm really disappointed i didn't get another one, its that whole decision time of what do you do and wasting more time.  I hate the results too, they are so close to being normal.  One had an extra gene a 15 gene, really!  I feel like it hurts less when its missing one not when theres an extra one...

You're all younger then I am so you can try with what you have and IF it didn't work you could start right back up.  I don't have that option and thats why I"m so upset.  I can't turn back the clock and its now or never.  I'm trying to stay positive I'm just finding it hard.

@Hopeful_mom I totally get that feeling. I am younger but still after 4 years it seriously is highly disappointing and annoying. I too tried 7 iui's and it feels like it was such a waste of time. Then the polyp surgery then the cancelled cycle. Just so much freaking time passing by. I'm sorry. I really hope this is the time for everyone. It just sucks when it's the one thing you can't control in your life at all it seems. I tested today (early) negative ovulation. I really hope it comes this month and everything goes as planned. It's so hard to keep getting shot down. Keep you head up.

@SP128 sundresses are the best! That's a lot of what I wear in the summer and helped with the after ER bloat. Congrats again to you.

@hopeful_mom   I only transferred one.  A lot of doctors like your chances best with one, mine is one of those. My husband wanted to do two, but after all the losses we'd had I couldn't have handled that!  My MS has been getting better, still so tired, and I'm starting to have to get up in the middle of the night to pee, I hate that!!!
My doctor didn't encourage the PGS for us, mainly because we had our miscarried embryo tested and it was totally normal, so it was kind of a toss up...  FX for a successful FET soon!

@sp128 - I bought maternity skinny jeans this week, I'm tellin ya, I am never wearing regular pants again. They are amazing. I'm only a little bumped right now, but its that awkward are you fat or pregnant stage.

@Hopeful_mom you really have been through alot to get just the five that you have... sucks sucks sucks. One of my reasons for starting IVF now, DH wanted to wait, (recently married, not in a house yet, still renting, using entire savings) is because I know this is not a 100% guaranteed success. I get anxiety thinking about what will happen if this doesn't work the and we have NO more savings left to try again. It has taken us so long to save, and actually still saving , for this.. Ultimately, BFC became our choice because of the cost as well so I hope to God that this works for us. Seeing what you went through is the side of IVF the commercials don't mention when you're considering it.
Before joining TB and meeting you ladies and hearing about your experiences, I was convinced that this would be a piece of cake and we would get our babies the first time, but realistically it doesn't happen like that for everyone even if your under 30.
IVF can turn out to be so heart breaking (uuuuggghhh!) and would definitely shake your faith but once "You choose hope, anything is possible".... I saw that saying on a post from another bumper and right now that is my mantra and maybe my next tattoo lol. Keep PrayingUntilSomethingHappensING (PUSHING) hun, that's all we can do in this uncertain world. I'm believing God for healthy and happy babies for each of us.

Whew ... It felt good to say that out loud lol... I haven't even told my husband about the fears I have about this. 

@SP128 I am currently shopping for clothes for my cycle and look at strictly dresses nothing tight. My AF bloating does be hella crazy so I can only imagine while I'm stimming.. yikes!!!

mrsa2017 IF sucks, and its hard when you give in to finally going to get help and then to think it might not work.  I just can't believe that it won't, I have to believe that I will be one of the lucky ones...even though I dont feel like it right now.  I have to believe I will be!!  This has to work!!

Holls214 how are things looking?  Did you get a positive opk?  I have to say I've been getting a headache everyday now  And i was dizzy just chatting on the phone the other day and I thought of you....has to be the meds.  I have a gf who says I complain about headaches all the time...and yes I do get them frequently for various reason HOWEVER she didn't know i was doing all this IVF stuff and it really doesn't help!!

AFM: I go in on the 8th to check my lining and levels.  Today is my last day on 2mg of estrace tomorrow I up it to 3.  I think once I take my first PIO shot it will start to feel real!

I'm definitely nervous and doesn't feel real that i'm getting there and up to this part!

@Hopeful_mom I had my 14 day scan yesterday. No positive OPK yet. Lining was only almost a 6 and follies are not measurable really... I'm usually a late ovulator so fingers crossed things will pick up. Testing twice a day now. So sorry to hear about the headaches. Argh. Yes I know how that goes. I swear some of my friends just think I'm a slacker and I'm sick all the time or just don't wanna hang out. Oh well. Yay! You are getting closer... I'm nervous too.

Holls214 i'm laughing you're testing 2x a day its bringing me back to the joke of TTC naturally...I don't think i get a high surge so along with the cheapos I feel like I would've missed it w/o doing it 2x.  Hang in there hope its on the way...once you get the positive how many days to they guesstimate will be your transfer?  As for my friends i've given up on them, i'll see them when I see them!  My headaches are no joke that at work through the year I apparently complain about headaches all the time HOWEVER they don't know what stemming does to your body so it is what it is...i'm a complainer of the head  have you decided which frostie you're transferring?

AFM: today brings me to 3mg 2x a day and then its time for bw/US come friday...should be an interesting week...I did buy some Brazilian nuts and ate avocado.  Get some healthy fats into my body!

@Hopeful_mom it should be about a week after ovulation or so. Freaking tests argh haha. Been spotting for 2 days since the ultrasound which is concerning but the doctor said it was fine... never had that happen before and it was painful. The "complainer of the head" lol. That's probably what people think of me too.  were going to transfer our highest rated embaby which is a male. What about you? Mmmm I love avocado. I had some yesterday. I've been basically stuck indoors all day. We have fires everywhere in Oregon and it's literally raining ashes and so smoky. Sucks.
