my appt was delayed by 50 minutes. So I peed when I got there and started drinking all over again. But then drank too much and for the first time in my life, was able to pee and stop half way! Didn't realize women could do that! Haha.

Then the transfer was easy. Got back home and was dead tired from the Valium and just took a 2 hours nap...

im thinking to say at work tomorrow that I will stay and WFH...

@Hopeful_mom oh I'm never gonna stop it again! It wasn't easy!

so my dr let's me wait to the beta for 2 weeks!!! So my beta is 14dp5dt!! Last time I waited super long and POAS at 11dp5dt! This time around I'll test sooner than that. But not sure how much sooner...

@prudence9-2 -ahhhh you're PUPO!!! How do you feel??? Last night I was totally thinking about you and that I didn't check in! So, I am checking in! That whole "fill your bladder thing" is so annoying, and I did it too, but after a few transfers I learned that I didn't need to drink nearly as much water as they said. They have you do the same thing at the anatomy scan, and I drank only a little bit. I also peed "half way" before my transfer because I was going to burst! I love feeling the little kicks, but they aren't strong enough to keep me up yet! Although, waking up to pee constantly is good preparation! I tried having my husband feel the kicks yesterday, but he couldn't yet. He said he thought he only felt me breathing. I think at this point I can feel it because I feel it both from the inside and outside, but I guess it's still a bit early for others to feel?? Not sure! Anyway, hoping your bean is burrowing in!!!! So exciting!

@hopeful_mom -ugh OH wants you to keep testing? I don't think it's a bad idea IF NEEDED, but I don't think you're at that point yet. You've only done one transfer, and you did get pregnant. Give yourself a break. I think you should try again. There are SO many tests we all could do to ourselves! Also, I read that 24 weeks is viable! Or maybe that is when they will work to keep baby alive if born early? But the app used the term "viable." Either way, I also hope this baby keeps cooking until full term!!! I need more time to prepare, and baby needs more time to prepare

I love following the apps--he legit looks like a "real baby" just smaller, but everything is in proportion. He's almost 1.5 pounds and about a foot long!!! So crazy! I still cannot believe that there is a human growing inside of me! Did you get my registry links? Did they work?

AND to both of you, I agree when @prudence9-2 said that maybe the first pregnancy for both of you was preparation. I know it didn't work out, but both of you did both get pregnant the first time, which is awesome, especially given your ages (wink, wink.) My first transfer didn't work and my second was a chemical. Third time worked, and each time I transferred two. Granted, mine weren't PGS tested, so I certainly know that can make a difference, but I think my chemical prepared my body for pregnancy. I actually read that oftentimes it does. I knew that I was able to get pregnant since I did from the chemical, and you ladies are able to get pregnant also! All the doctors say that it's a numbers game! Unless you have some deep-rooted problem, which I think would have been discovered by now, keep putting those babies in! That's what I did! I did three transfers, so don't feel bad! One of those PGS tested babes is bound to stick around! Can't wait until both of you are nearing the third trimester!

@LoveDontCostAThing and another mistake I've made was drinking the water too fast. Back in January I spaced the drinking for about 45 minutes. This time around I drank it all in the first 15 minutes. Oh well... it's over now

so cool that you feel the kicks! hopefully soon enough your husband will feel them as well!

A foot long is pretty big!!! Soooo exciting!!!

And like you said, I soooo hope that the first one was a test run. And that this time around my body will let it get to full term! (Assuming this little embryo sticks!!! FX)

@LoveDontCostAThing honestly I dont know what OH is thinking...he forget i'm not 25 and he just thinks i have all this time in the world. I've been going back and forth alot and I'm really praying you're right and it was just the first time for my body to be prepped...just so angry I had to loose both. I appreciate you reminding me and sharing cause I need to keep reminding myself of these things!! I did get a bfp on that first try and I know i'm terrified of doing it again but I have to do it, its definitely time!!! Which apps are you using...hope i'l need to download something new soon

AFM: Yesterday was a tough day - having twins I shouldve delivered sooner but it was my due date and its just sad.
My E2 did rise to 400 and 7/8 follies are all on point...one is at 6.5 so we shall see if it perks up. I went to acupuncture today and hopefully that will help make this eggs super strong and normal! I can't believe I still have a killer headache, not sure if its the meds or just lack of sleep...

Sorry about the date! I know October 21st won't be easy for me

so they told me not to put direct heat on my stomach. So after PIO I have heat pad on my butt, which is fine.

Anyway, at acupuncture this morning she had the bed heat on. It did heat up my back. But at some point I felt it was too much and I pressed the bell and she came over and lowered it. I'm feeling kinda feverish now. Not sure why. I hope that heat on my back didn't cause damage. Ahhh.

AFM: I got the call and is trigger time y'all!! I feel like its the world series and i'm being called to the plate...its hilarious. This is eat game 7...even though its cycle 8

I dont know if its the caffiene in the DECAF coffee from dunkin (i swear i think they switched it) but i just feel super anxious! Today i had a different tech so i'm trying to not stress too much over the sizes that she measured. E2 was 969 yesterday and just went up 100 to 1069 so since it hasn't gone up that much we believe its time to go so we dont lose any...which them means I dont get my RE for ER BUT i get the dr thats the head of the clinic so hoping he can be just as much of a good luck charm

I've got 21.5, 20, 19.5, 19, 16.5, 15.5, 12.5, 10.5, 9.5 soooo it seems like 2 have shrunk a lil and others have stayed the same so i'm really hoping that each follie with have a good mature egg ready to go!!! I'm surprised i'm this nervous for it....but excited that its go time!!!

I'm not doing that great. I don't feel anything. I know it's only 5dp5dt. But last time I was already tired on 4dp5dt. Also, last time I didn't POAS until 11dp5dt (super late, I know!) and it was BPF immediately. This time around I already started POAS. And so far BFN. I know it's stilll early. But all these months I was worried I can't carry. But I didn't even think about the option that it won't stick.

prudence9-2 not faint squinter nothing? Remember they tell us not to test and wait till beta...some have later implantation so hang in there!!

AFM: Glad ER is over, I was more nauseous coming to this round as well. They say that you're body going through something can just change on a whim like that...so I think my body is ready for the next step - a transfer right

Thrilled they got 7 golden eggs, yay! The Dr was like "i think we have 6 were looking at" and I'm like no, I think we have more like 6-8. SO he assured me he would get everything. One hurdle down now on to the next...

I'm sure there are some "normies," as you call them in there! when will you transfer? you asked about my bump...it's big!!! @prudence9-2 -you started testing early. there is still hope! let me look back in my phone and see when I started testing...I started testing 8dp5dt and got faint line on an amazon cheapie dip stick thing. Did you say you didn't test the first transfer when you got a bfp? If not, I guess it's hard to compare to anything because everyone and every pregnancy is different. Also, they are making you wait until 14dpt, so that should mean there is hope until then. You could try a different test brand because different ones have different sensitivities. What hcg level does the one you're using pick up? Your hcg level could be lower than what the test picks up. Thinking of you! Hang in there!

i checked so early because I saw people on this board getting BFP after 6 days! Anyway, I think I will try not test when I get home tonite haha

last time I also had implantation bleeding. And this time I didn't. I read that only 30% of pregnancies have it. So hopefully not having the bleeding doesn't mean it didn't implant!!

prudence9-2 I echo ^^^^^ I think you still have hope. I believe I test 8dpt and had a super faint line and I will add I was at the time carrying healthy twins...so its very possible that its just too low to take right now.

AFM: How is it every time you try to rest the phone rings. the 2 times I fell asleep the head lab dr called and then later my brother. Anyhoo I didn't think I'd already have an update but I do. Dr mentioned that one egg was ND, now I was still half out of it and confused and basically said it was a dead egg...

huh...not something you really want to hear. Not sure I mentioned but I used a frozen sample instead of fresh and I have to say that the motility was not as great after the thaw as they wanted so they did all icsi. Trying to stay positive and praying they will all have a good outcome.

I have to say this is the most nauseous I have ever been this late in the day after this procedure. Its amazing how you can feel different every time. I think have the reaction to the trigger is just showing my body is a lil off with all the meds this round. All the numbness and nauseous must still be from the anesthesia.

YESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!! I did say i tested 8dpt and it was a squinter love bug!!! Pray it gets darker!!

AFM: We know I got 7 but since one was a pooper from the beginning will say, out of the 6, 5 fertilized...I know I should be happy I'm just hella nervous! What is wrong with me? Maybe cause i know this is it...5 is better then 1,2,3,and 4. I think i'm stressing thinking they might not be as strong since there were a few more this cycle AND they keep reminding me his sample wasn't great. Which thats fine as most of my normies are the ones that were icsi'd only one normie is through IVF. However I repeatedly said to the Dr if the sample after the thaw is not good then he will give a fresh one. I think I'm mad at myself for not just giving it in....I don't know.

I'm annoyed at myself for being this stressed. Did I do everything right? I only got 2 acupuncture session in more toward the end of the cycle not the beginning, was it not enough?

Side note: I can't believe i'm still so crampy. Ive done this 6x and this cramping has lasted the longest now WTH! My head is first coming back to normal....definitely this round is taking the longest to bounce back from.

@hopeful_mom these cheap strips that I'm using are a total piece of shit. It's really hard to read the results. So I hope I saw a line!!

From what my clinic says, the PGS labs do prefer ICSI embryos. And when they do ICSI they pick the good swimmers and put them inside the egg. So I would really NOT be upset about not using fresh! When will you get the next report? Day 3?

do you you already know what's the next step? Aren't you relived to move on to FET? No more IVF and trigger shots and ERs!!!

@prudence9-2 -I want to see the line!!!! Can you message us or put in spoiler box?? Also, I still have pics of my tests from 8dp5dt, 9dp5dt, and 10p5dt...the 8 and 9 look exactly the same. In reality, it takes some time for the HCG to double, so I think you're okay! I am SO HAPPY there is a line!

@hopeful_mom- 5 is a great number. I don't think you did anything wrong using the frozen sample...and I'm sure you did enough acupuncture too. Luckily you have 5 "normies," so any more are bonus! AND thankfully you are done with stimming and ERs!!!! approximately when will your FET be?

AFM: Just started a new job and i have a feeling its going to interfere with my FET time BUT I'm going to have to figure out how to not stress and work around it!
My Day 2 report is all my embabies are looking good! One is even ahead of the game at 5AB and the others are at 4 cell where they should be...I'm so relieved and praying tomorrows update will be just as promising!!!

I don't care about the boxes - BUT so you know if you click on the drop done that looks the the paragraph symbol thats at least how i know it

@hopeful_mom I never used these cheap strips. I always used digital tests. So it was always either a BFN and once BFP... and then I see women post dark lines so that is what I was hoping to see too.

I know, a line is a line. And I *am* PUPO!! I guess I'm just so scared of another m/c that I don't look at the positive right now... which is really unlike me, actually. Ahhh. This process is just so tough. Physically and emotionally!
