2. Working mama or S@Eddy1 I guess both? I'm a nurse but not working in the field at the moment as I'm back in school to advance my degree (end goal CRNA). I coach all star cheer and also travel to judge cheer so I work doing that. During the week I'm mostly home with my daughter.
3. Favorite song ? Lately I've been loving Biscuits by Kacey Musgraves.
4. Are you team epidural or natural? Epidural since I'll likely have another C section.
5. One thing on your bucket list? Visiting Alaska.
Me (33). DH (37). DD (2.2012). MCs x4. After 4 years & 7 months, due 4.2018!
3. Favorite song ? My music taste ranges from gangsta rap to country soooo it depends on my mood
4. Are you team epidural or unmedicated? Since I had half my epi work last time, I will be going unmedicated. I felt all my contractions and all the pushing but my pelvis and legs were a thousand pounds.
5. One thing on your bucket list? Tour around Europe
We recently (2015) did an all inclusive resort in Riviera Maya Mexico. I highly recommend it! Great bang for your buck (DH and I spent $2400 for a full week including airfare, transfers, resort, all meals and top shelf cocktails). Beautiful country and wonderful people!
2. Working mama or SAHM? I am a full time working mom, currently a kitchen designer for an online cabinet company.
3. Favorite song ? Honestly I don't have one, but I really enjoy Kesha's new song Praying.
4. Are you team epidural or unmedicated? I am not team epidural since I hate needles but I will say I'm not team unmediated either. Only because for my first I forget what it was but they put something in the iv to help with pain and to make me relax and that worked like a charm.
5. One thing on your bucket list? Call me a nerd, but I want to go to all the Disney theme parks.
@zombiemom1318 hahaha I blame the country on my DH though
@slabancz have you never been to Disney? Or just want to go to ALL around the world? I recently just went to Disney world for the first time with my 1 year old DS. Low key, it was for me lol
4. Are you team epidural or unmedicated? I will definitely be getting an epidural again! I got one as soon as possible with DD and it was great! I DID have spinal headaches due to the anesthesiologist punching a hole and had to get a blood patch after being home for 4 days but I know what to look for this time so I can get it taken care of before I go home in case it happens again! But even with that I am totally pro epidurals!
5. One thing on your bucket list? Alaskan cruise with DH
4. Are you team epidural or natural? I had an epidural last time and had an absolutely horrible experience. It helped with contractions but was turned off long before the pushing started so I felt everything. Then, I had an awful spinal headache, had to return to the hospital, and had two blood patches. It was miserable. I will never have another epidural! Lesson- make sure the anesthesiologist knows what he's doing!
Girl those spinal headaches are no joke! But I am such a wimp when it comes to pain I am definitely getting one again! Lol
2. Working mama or SAHM? Working mama. Last year was my first year getting back into the classroom. Before that I ran an in-home daycare for 6 years.
3. Favorite song ? Hmm I don't know right now.
4. Are you team epidural or unmedicated? I was unmediated with my first until I had to be rushed into an emergency c/s. This will be a repeat c/s, so I'll be getting meds.
5. One thing on your bucket list? Take the kids to Disney World. We had it planned for this spring, but are probably going to have to postpone it until next year.
2. Working mama or SAHM? Working mom. I don't have what it takes to 24/7 kiddos. I like to accomplish things, and chasing a kid in circles endlessly doesn't fulfill that desire .
3. Favorite song ? Bomb, Nuerotic Fish
4. Are you team epidural or unmedicated? I'd like to try for unmedicated again, but am not holding my breath. Last time, my labor was really long (over 48 hours), and I got too exhausted to endure ANY pain. I tapped out 12 hours into active labor.
5. One thing on your bucket list? I really want to visit Spain, China, and Alaska. I will eat and drink all the things while there.
2. Working mama or SAHM? Working mom. I don't have what it takes to 24/7 kiddos. I like to accomplish things, and chasing a kid in circles endlessly doesn't fulfill that desire .
@ngolimento - I guess it's all about perspective, yeah? For me, getting two small kids up, fed, dressed, out the door for daily activities (like going to a park/farm/splash pad/playgroup), home for lunch, naps, dinner and baths are all pretty big accomplishments

Oh, I am fully aware that it is hard work, I'm not bagging on SAHM in the slightest, hence why I said "I don't have what it takes". None of those things are ever done, and feel like and endless circle to me, that's all.
2. Working mama or SAHM? Working until birth, then SAHM, at least until I can find some online writing gigs!
3. Favorite song ? Drops of Jupiter by Train... or just the entire Lord of the Rings soundtrack
4. Are you team epidural or unmedicated? Epidural! My mom went all natural for my sister and me, and she torally recommends epidural now. As long as it's safe for the baby and me, I'm okay with it!
2. Working mama or SAHM? I work full time as a civil engineer.
3. Favorite song ? I have too many favorite songs, and they're always changing!
4. Are you team epidural or natural? I feel like I like the idea of a natural birth, I'd love a water birth. But I'm not opposed to asking for those pain meds if I can't take it. I'll be a FTM so I don't really know what to expect.
5. One thing on your bucket list? I'd love to travel to Europe at least once in my life.
I get what you are saying @ngolimento I think I'm the only person I know who was excited to go back to work from maternity leave. Have huge respect for SAHM I feel like I was going stir crazy after about 3 weeks on leave.
@ngolimento I had 48+ hour labor with my last. I too wanted to try unmedicated but when I faced the 3rd night of no sleep I opted for the epidural. SO worth it. I was able to sleep for about 5 hours and was rested enough when it came time to push. I pushed twice and he was here.
I get what you are saying @ngolimento I think I'm the only person I know who was excited to go back to work from maternity leave. Have huge respect for SAHM I feel like I was going stir crazy after about 3 weeks on leave.
I'm glad to see there are other women here who feel this way. Even though I am going to be a FTM, staying home has never been an interest for me. Maybe once my little one is here I will change my mind but I just can't imagine feeling completely fufilled. I love my career and I have always invisioned myself as being a mom who works outside the home. One of my best friends is convinced I will want to stay home once I have a baby though and she annoys the crap out of me when she brings it up!
2. Working mama or SAHM? Working mama; third grade teacher
3. Favorite song? Look After You by The Fray
4. Are you team epidural or unmedicated? I was team epidural with DD but had a terrible spinal headache for a week, so I'd like to try unmedicated, but I'm not married to it.
5. One thing on your bucket list? A long trip around various places in Europe.
my best friend was the same way @JJMNO1616. She had almost 3 months off when she had her DD, and she kept telling me I will hate having to go back and I only had 6 weeks off. I had my DD at the end of October so having the month of November was nice for the recovery stand point but once December hit I was ready.
@Dumbgurl04 Wow, glad you felt so comfortable going back after 6 weeks! Both physically and emotionally. I think that would be hard for me because I'm definitely looking forward to 12 weeks off but I think I will be ready after that. I have taken up to 3 months off between jobs when my DH and I relocated for his job and I was going BSC after about a month. That was just me sitting at home alone though so maybe it will be different with a baby.
3. Favorite song ? Oh Man - so many. Lately Kalamazoo by Black Keys has been my running jam.
4. Are you team epidural or unmedicated? Epidural - to those who go w/o mad props, but I couldn't imagine. I have had two epidurals and both were well done. Made my deliveries exactly what I hoped for.
5. One thing on your bucket list? Going to Peru to see Chichen Itza
@JJMNO1616, I had serious momma bear hormones the first year and pined to stay home with my DD, but eventually I got back to normal and was grateful to be working. I am a doer, I have to fix things, build things, create things, learn things, etc. I can only watch the same episode of Sesame Street so many times before the dishes in the sink, the bathroom grout, and the garden scream mercilessly at me. Then I feel trapped because I can't do anything but watch my kid. Usually when I have an entire day together it's a whirlwind of going out and doing things. For example, I think we have been home today for an hour since 7am.
@allen4tl mine didn't fully work either so I'm deciding to forgo it! I felt all the pitocin (aka devil's juice) contractions and I lived to tell the tale!
1. How old are you? 30 (31 at EDD) 2. Working mama or SAHM? Work fulltime as a personal lines underwriter and will go back after leave. DH has a great job as a consultant but no insurance.

2. Working mama or SAHM? I work full time as a community manager for homeowners associations

5. One thing on your bucket list? just to travel more.
3. Favorite song ? I love all music but right now I'm into rebelution's new song lay my claim. They're considered reggae but the song isn't like a marley song.
@karabeers I'm a Rebelution fan. I discovered them a few years ago on Pandora (I listen to Pepper Radio a lot).
@sapphires-and-diamonds love pepper, the green, and iration. There was a big reggae fest in my county thus past weekend and I so wanted to go but I figured all the smoke was not the best idea. Had to pass.
