Add another one to the club of constipation suddenly disappeared and was replaced with frequent ill-feeling trips to the bathroom. It's not diarrhea, so I'll take it!
@heatherdubrow glad to hear the good news. That happened with my daughter, but my midwife told me that because I'm so small, I'll probably always have low-lying placentas in pregnancy. Not sure how much truth there is to that but
i feel so much better today than I have the past two days. Woke up feeling great for the first time in weeks. Granted I threw up twenty minutes later, but I managed to actually eat my breakfast and I've been playing with my daughter all morning, something I haven't been able to do. I'm super shaky, and still feel a little nauseous, but I'll take this over not being able to leave the couch.
@MrsBalletStar05 I think brown is a good sign. You don't seem too worried, but still Sending you good vibes!
@kby721 I think I am around the same timeline as you, and I have been way less bloated the past two days. Thanks for posting this... it's kind of reassuring to my PGAL brain!
super nervous this morning. my boobs do not hurt AT ALL. Not even a bit. they feel normal. *TW* I'm only days away from when I lost my last pregnancy... I'm worried it's happening again.
This happened to me today soon. I understand it's unnerving, but I remember this happening with my last pregnancy too and everything turned out wonderfully. Try not to worry.
6+1 and I woke up to the unmistakable rancid nauseous smell of coffee. Most of me is really happy because - yay, symptoms are progressing! But the rest of me is sad I can't have coffee (tea just doesn't cut it) and constantly grossed out because I can't escape the smell.
I'm now 6.5-7 weeks and getting strong nausea almost every evening. Usually it starts up around 7:30/8. I've tried eating/snacking/not eating/more water etc and haven't noticed an impact. That's my main complaint.
Otherwise, currently I'm dealing with red meat aversion, fatigue, sore boobs off and on (that symptom seems to have subsided overall), and really sensitive to smell. And I need to pee alllllll the time.
Anyone else feel really ill when they need to poop? I get so nauseated, clammy, sometimes dizzy, and then I feel better after I go.
Omg this happened to me this morning. I thought for sure I was going to pass out and/or throw up but nope just poop.
I love titted for solidarity, not because you're suffering, obviously. I'm sorry you've got this, too. It really sucks!
This. This happened to me a few times during my first pregnancy. I actually ended up puking in the tub once while going. It was awful!
This is happening to me every day since last Sunday. I feel guilty complaining because it's such a blessing to be pregnant, but I feel like total garbage, and it makes me anxious feeling like I have no ability to make it better and no way to know when it will pass.
9 weeks +1 today. second time Mom here. So far symptoms have been sore boobs and hungry All. The. Time. I can't make it three hours into the night without needing to eat something.
All this stopped two nights ago, and I have had zero pregnancy feeling symptoms the past two days/nights. It's making me super nervous and I have to wait a whole week yet before getting to see/hear baby. It cannot come fast enough! In the meantime I think I will just go home and be on a stick to make sure I'm still pregnant!
I haven't noticed a ton of symptoms, except suddenly I want all the sex (see my FFFC). Again, not like me at all, and didn't have that in my previous 2 pregnancies!
I also have been having to use the bathroom a ton for #2- I don't know if its pregnancy related or from stopping my Zoloft.
Lastly, I am soooo incredibly dizzy. You know that medicine head feeling where you're foggy and kind of out of it? It's sort of like that, but with dizziness thrown it. I can't focus, and just feel loopy all the time. My PCP thought it might be hormone related, but I was attributing this to stopping my Zoloft as well.
Oh, andplusalso, add me to the weight gain camp. I'm 6 weeks and up 6 lbs. Ugh.
I started this pregnancy 7 lbs heavier than I was pre-pregnancy with my last. My youngest is only 9 months, so I don't think my body has fully recovered (actually I know it hasn't). I hope I don't become a whale
9+2 today and the debilitating nausea isn't there. I'm stressing out a lot, but just trying to reassure myself that loss of symptoms doesn't necessarily mean anything bad. But I also made the mistake of bringing out the Doppler, and can't find a heartbeat either. I know it's still so early but the first trimester just stresses me out. Ugh. Next ultrasound is on the 23.
@JamieK1882, I am ridiculously dizzy this pregnancy. I think it's from taking progesterone. I try to go to bed as soon as I take my meds. But if DS calls me into his room, I go stumbling in there like I'm drunk. It's terrible!
OMG the nausea. I never throw up, but I feel like it all day. Sometimes when I eat it goes away temporarily, but I can't handle it. My B6 vitamins came today. Hopefully they'll help. And the night time overheating...I just want to sleep through the night without sweating. Pretty please.
When does one know it's time to attempt stopping the unisom for nausea? I'm sooo tired of being extra tired from it, but I hate to stop too soon and wind up super sick.
@chasingroygbiv when I used it in my last pregnancy, it worked first try. I don't know what's normal, but if it isn't working for you, I'd try something else.
@chasingroygbiv I've been wondering the same thing. I'm thinking I may just need to try a day at some point without taking it and see what happens? I dunno, maybe a sign will come to me in one of my crazy pregnancy dreams
@bookishbaker Hahaha! I'm trying to think of a day to try it that I don't need to do anything..... which is never... because Mom life. I will give it at least until I stop Progesterone.
@chasingroygbiv ohhhh haha I get it. Yeah just don't take it one day. If you get halfway through your day and feel awful, take it then and try getting off it in a few weeks. The tired side affect eventually wore off for me.
I'm posting up a storm today because all I can do right now is lay on the couch and look at my phone. Watching TV is even making me nauseas. And MH got called in to work an extra shift tonight so this will make it the 5th night in a row I've gotta handle bedtime and also the morning with DD. Last night I was gagging so much during bedtime she got scared and ran into my arms. Which could have been the worst place to go! I'm ready to wake up and it be second trimester any day now!!
@scotiagirl, it's so hard when we are trying to care for a toddler and deal with MS. I'll be throwing up in the toilet and DS will come and stand beside me and gag, pretending he's throwing up too. It makes it 10x worse listening to him gag too!!
@justkeeptrying I had to leave the dinner table last night to vomit and my daughter came running behind me saying 'I leave too!' Hard to set table rules when I'm such a poor example of them!
@chasingroygbiv when I weaned myself off of the unisom/b6 last pregnancy, I found it took a couple of days before I REALLY could tell if I was still sick or not. So maybe plan ahead for a good 2-3 days
ALL OF THE NAUSEA! Thankfully I haven't actually gotten sick but I've barely eaten anything today because I've just been too nauseous. Was able to eat some plain pasta and an Italian ice today.... the last few weeks it's only been in the mornings and it's slowly progressing to any time of the day.... I guess this is a welcome to week 8!
I'm 9+3 and up until yesterday and today I was feeling really really sick. Now I'm feeling almost normal. I'm super worried. Last pregnancy I was sick until 15 weeks. I'm trying to take it as a blessing but it's hard
UPDATE: after almost 5 days of trying I finally heard the heartbeat on the Doppler. Omg I feel so dumb for being worried.
Guys, my constipation is getting unbearable. I've gone almost a week now without going. Colace isn't doing it and neither is water, dried or regular fruit. I can't possibly choke down prune juice right now. What else can I do?? I ended up in the ER while pregnant with my daughter because I had gone 13 days without going and they had me drink magnesium citrate. I can't imagine that's an ideal option. Is there anything else I can try BEFORE I have to go that route?
@chasingroygbiv I've been told to try milk of magnesia. I haven't bought it yet but I'm about to honestly. I did drink a bottle of apple juice today and I feel like that helped loosen up a little bit. Not enough, but it was something. Colace isn't helping me either. It didn't after I had my daughter either. I haven't actually gone in like 6-7 days. I'm scared lol
@chasingroygbiv Colace is just a stool softener; it's never helped me go. Decaf coffee?? On my list of approved meds for constipation from my OB is Milk of Magnesia, doxidan, pericolace and Metamucil. Hope that helps.
