We had our scan today. We are team pink! Everything looked good. Baby was not cooperating so it took forever like the NT scan. Have to go back in 4 weeks to get some more shots of the heart because baby had arms across chest most of the time. Measuring on time at 21 weeks finally I was about a week behind.
Just had my anatomy scan today, everything looked good with the baby, still a girl . But they said my placenta was anterior and low (specifically 1.5 cm from my cervix). I have to go back for additional monitoring and ultrasounds to see if it moves up.
Anatomy scan today and baby boy looks good! He was very squirmy... probably because I had a sugary breakfast... They did show him measuring 4 days ahead and 10 oz... I'll be going back in 10 weeks to make sure he's not a giant. I was so impressed with how they can see everything... I could hardly tell what I was looking at but those techs are clearly trained! So relieved to have passed this hurdle, I don't know why but I was kind of anxious.
Follow up scheduled for tomorrow, which totally wrecks my schedule and DH's but is much much better than waiting for weeks. Fingers crossed it's nothing.
We had our anatomy scan Monday morning. Baby was doing acrobatics, standing on their head (we're not finding out sex so I will use 3rd person!), and doing all kinds of contortions, so now we're calling them "the little acrobat." Which is pretty funny since I'm a stilt walker (not now!) and have done other circus arts. Thankfully we were able to get all of the shots they needed, and we have a hilarious photo looking like baby is in the most ridiculous yoga pose.
All looks good! I was so glad there was an OB at the center to come look at the results right then and there.
Sending thoughts and prayers to all who are still waiting for results or doing further testing.
___ Due date 12/9 I can't figure out the pregnancy countdown tickers, but I do know how to make a signature! #40andpregnant
As of 12/15/2017, my new hashtag is #41 and pregnant!
I had my anatomy scan yesterday. And happy to say at almost 19 weeks baby is looking great. We are still team green. Baby's head was measuring 18.6 while arms and legs were measuring 19.3. Looks like baby its going to take after me for height. They estimated the weight at 10oz. After a previous miscarriage I've been on edge this entire pregnancy. I'm happy to feel like I can sorta breathe now.
Just got back from our anatomy scan. All looked well. They had a limited view if the heart so ill go back at 30 weeks to have another one done. She was measuring 5 days ahead and 13 oz already!
Just got to work after our follow up scan, and the measurement that was borderline out of range 3 weeks ago is now perfectly in the normal range. I don't know whether to chalk it up to measurement error (prevailing theory among the scientists at work) or improvement during development, but I am grateful and relieved either way.
My doctor called (well his nurse), and my test came back low risk. I am over the moon. I have another ultrasound on August 31st and we will take another look then!! Thanks everyone for your kind words. I really appreciate it.
@jlemons-2 happy for your good news! prayers that the good news continues for you!
We FINALLY had our AS today and Baby GIRL looks perfect!!!!! I was feeling really down and depressed yesterday for no reason, and this was like the perfect pick-me-up. I somehow resisted the urge to go buy 103472984 outfits on the way home. We still have a fetal echo due to family history but no reason to suspect any issues based on the scan today.
Had our AS today and the baby looked good. Doc said they are measuring right on time. Still team green but my husband kept his eyes open during the genitals part so now he's been googling "hamburger" vs "turtle"? He says he's 75% sure based on his research but he's keeping it to himself . I'm excited for a surprise on the birth day!
We had our AS scan last Thursday. We stuck with it and we are team green. It was hard but it will be exciting to wait. We found out with our other 2 so its a big change. Everything looked great. Baby measuring at 11oz. Only thing that she found is that I have a partial placenta previa. She said it should move as the baby grows, so I get another ultrasound in 7 or 8 weeks to see if it has moved. I hope and pray that it will.
@KayLee77 I hope yours moves! I just found that I have the same thing. They are sending me to a specialist this week. Trying not to find it too worrisome at this point.
Thanks @balletnerd. I hope yours moves too! I see the Dr again in the 10th and will get more information on it then. From everything I've found is that there is more than enough time for it to move. So I hope that happens. So try not to get to worried. (Which I know it's easier said than done)
@kaylee77@balletnerd I also had a low lying placenta during my scan and will be returning on Aug 21 to see if it's moved. I guess it's fairly common with twins, so the MFM did not seem overly concerned. Wishing you both the best at your next appointments!
Had our follow-up fetal echocardiogram today and got good news! She has a cardiac EIF, which is a small calcification on her heart. It can be a soft marker for Trisomy 21 or 13 but we already ruled them out through NIPT. So it's just a harmless thing that won't affect her.
At this point our only issue is the single umbilical artery and the possibility of it causing growth restrictions. We're going to be monitored closely from here on out but, holy wow, this pregnancy just might work out. I'm so freaking happy right now!

Anatomy scan today went perfectly! Babies are measuring right on track and are super active and snuggly. They're also girls!!!!! My husband is absolutely shitting himself at the thought of 3 of me haha, but we're super excited. I can't wait to give them so many hugs and kisses!
Had ours today and baby looks great. Definitely moving around and kept looking at us and showing off the face. Definitely different than how DD behaved for her A/S! Estimating 13 oz-85th percentile!

We had our anatomy scan tuesday at a specialist. He cleared me so I won't be needing to see him again and can just go back to my regular obgyn!
Baby is doing great, it seemed like we were in there forever but I am so relieved. Being so sick has really had me worried. It was the same with DD but I couldn't help but worry about this one too.
Did anyone else's anatomy scan come back with a shorter than average cervix? Mine measured at 2.7. Anything under a 3 is cause for concern and pelvic rest/no heavy lifting. They did not do a transvaginal ultrasound so the measurement could be off and I go back next week for a follow up. The baby on the other hand looks great! Whew.
@tmk0325 i'm curious, how were your cervical measurements for your twin pregnancy? 2.7 does seem quite short. FX for a good measurement next week. If it is still that short, you'll definitely be on pelvic rest and possibly even full bed rest, which would suck a lot. Incompetent cervix is a big cause of premature labor and birth so I know they will take that seriously. When is your appt?

@anewadventure I was always well over 3, so that's why this is all new to me. I did have the boys at 31 weeks, but never had any cervix issues prior to that and I was monitored every two weeks (transvaginal ultrasounds each time). Right now they said only pelvic rest. I'm really really hoping it doesn't come to bedrest, because that would not be feasible with two 13 month olds at home. Ugh. Fingers crossed the progesterone shots do what their supposed too!
Had my scan this morning. The MFM said everything looked perfect and said the baby was measuring spot on to the day!
I'm so relieved. It felt like they were taking pictures forever. I got so nervous half way through I thought I was gonna be sick and I started crying. But it was for nothing!

@tmk0325 Yay for a healthy babe! I do remember that both my ob and the tech said they have to do the transvaginal u/s to get the most accurate measurement on the cervix, so fx it's just a mis-measure due to the method. Will be thinking of you!

So glad to see so many happy outcomes! I just got back from our AS at 20w6d and everything came back great also! He was super active and looks so cute already! I personally am a little nervous because our little man is measuring big (86th percentile and already 1lb) and I am a tiny tiny person soooo yeah, if he stays big delivery could be tricky! Obviously he takes after his very tall, very broad father... Oh well, as long as he is healthy!
We had our scan today. They baby was very active so it took 2 hrs to get all the pictures. He is healthy and everything is measuring as expected. The bad thing is that my placenta previa is still a problem. They scheduled another ultrasound at 32 weeks to check if my placenta moves. The doctor told me that there is a very real possibility I might need a C-section. So I am preparing myself mentally for it.
@Bailey1823A Another girl! So excited for you. I am so happy to hear your test came back good. I bet you're counting down the days to 32 week ultrasound.
