@YodalsGreen I hope your placenta moves up, but just wanted to let you know I had a c-section and all went well! I'm sure it will be fine either way, and now you have time to prepare for both possibilities.

This! I too had a c section due to High BP. It wasn't ideal but it was ok. DD was safe and so was I!
We just had our second anatomy scan and the twins are great! Plus, we confirmed that we're having a boy and a girl (they weren't 100% sure about baby girl during the first scan). We're so excited and happy.
Resurrecting because I'm so far behind... Had my AS yesterday (finally!), and I guess it went okay, but I don't really know! This was so different from the one I had with DS. That one took about an hour, and at the end the tech showed the images to the doctor so I basically knew things were okay when I left. This time, the whole thing took about 20 minutes since she was able to get all measurements really quickly and easily. That's a good thing, I guess.
But at the end she just said, "okay they'll give you any results at your next appointment, but no news is good news!" and I was on my way. You guys, my appt isn't until Sept. 13th! I'm trying to tell myself that if she had seen something concerning, she would have consulted one of the doctors right away, and she went through all the measurements so fast and didn't seem to linger anywhere. I think I'm just trying to make myself feel better. Don't they know how awful it is to make us wait with no answers? I thought I'd feel better after the scan because I'd know if all was well or not, but I have no idea. Sorry, just venting! It was great to see baby though, and we did get confirmation that she's a girl!
I will probably end up doing that because I don't see how I can be in the dark for another month. Will also be stalking my online portal to see when they put anything up. I just wish they would try to arrange this differently to avoid all that.
Just had my AS. Baby looks very healthy and active! There is a slight abnormality with the umbilical cord. Instead of two arteries, there is one. the doctor was unconcerned about this since everything else was normal and good looking. This still worries me a bit.
@thatlauragirl hey! Wondering how you're doing with SUA? My ultrasound tech informed me I have this, but everything else checks out fine. He said not to lose sleep over it, but typical, I'm stressing!
