Anatomy Scans

Im pretty there are some ladies with anotomy scans coming up! Which also mean some of us are almost half way through this journey (crazy!). 

So I'm curious, when is your anatomy scan scheduled?

I'm not having an anatomy scan but I am going for a level II ultrasound at a specialist on the 19th of July. I will be 18 weeks

Mine isn't until August 4th.  That feels so far away, but I bet it will be here before I know it.  

ETA - I'll be 20 weeks, 6 days at that point.  So apparently mine is late in the process.

My anatomy scan is on July 17th... I'll be between 19 and 20 weeks.

Mine is August 1st. By my original due date I'll only be 18+3, but at the NT scan MFM measured me 6 days ahead and wanted to schedule based on that. So according to them, I'll be 19+2. My OB said either way it's fine, (and I've heard 18-22 is the wide range for the AS) but I do think I'd prefer it to be a little later.

Next Thurs 7/6! I'll be 18 weeks 1 day. My last appt was when I was 14 weeks, so instead of just scheduling the regular 4 week check-up, my OB was like oh, I guess we'll just schedule the anatomy scan for your next appt, which is why it's on the earlier side. I'm so excited.

Mine is on July 21 at 19w6d! My OB schedules them between 20-22 weeks, and I got in a day early because I'll be out of town for a week of that window and didn't want to wait till 21 weeks.

I'm under the care of midwives for this pregnancy so they send patients to a MFM for the different testing. Mine is scheduled for July 26th at 19w2d.

I have no idea when mine is and it's pissing me off. I lost my daughter to Trisomy18 and feel like I can't reveal til I have it. I'm 18 weeks on Sunday.

Mine's on July 24 at a MFM and I'll be 18w+2d. We'll be bringing my stepdaughter (she's 6) along with us to find out the genders of her twin siblings and I'm so excited!!!

My next appt is July 14 (20w) but they wouldn't schedule my anatomy scan for that day. They said it was "too early". I have to wait until 22w, so around July 28. I wish it could be sooner!

Don't have mine scheduled yet, I have my next OB visit on July 5th, I'll be 18 weeks and 5 days then. So I'm certain it will get scheduled within the next few weeks.

Mine isn't scheduled yet but my next appointment is July 21 so it will probably be 4 weeks after that. It's the latest anatomy scan I have had. My others were closer to 18 weeks.

I'm glad some other ladies are having theirs in the 18th week! I just thought it was super early from lurking other BMBs and seeing when they had theirs. Makes me feel less worried it's too early.

@MJDsquared when I made my appt for my anatomy scan I asked for reassurance how far along I should be, the doctor just said they like to schedule them about 6 weeks out from the NT scan. So that put me in week 19

@jlemons-2 I have been harrassing them. Guess not enough at this point. I will for sure be calling OB on Monday.

July 26. I'll be 20+3
My ob said to schedule it between 17 and 19 weeks and even though I've been dying to find out sex this whole time, the US tech will be away during my 19th week so I told the receptionist to push it back to my 20th. I can't believe I did that lol but I figure it gives me more time to grow a bump for my gender reveal photos LOL

Hey, is anyone else's husband not going to the scan? This is our third baby and we're not finding out the sex so he was just like "ehhh". There's no real reason for him not to go and if like him there but I'm afraid hormones are playing too big a part in me being upset...

@GraysonsMama, I would remind him that the anatomy scan is not for finding out the sex but for making sure the baby is healthy and growing properly. And because of that you'd like him there for support in case you get some bad news. Why wouldn't he want to be there and know all is well?

Basically I would rage. Maybe a small amount of the reaction would be related to hormones, but the gut feeling of disappointment/anger is justified.

mine isn't scheduled. My next appt is 17 weeks, and I assume they will schedule it when I go in for that. I had my last one at 20 w, but that OB also scheduled like 6 appointments in advance so it's annoying to me that they schedule them one at a time at this OB. My DH will definitely be attending--I need his moral support, since they check everything out!

Thank you and I did remind him of the reason behind the scan. Thing's have been kind of stained recently and I'm have a hard time discerning where my anger is actually coming from. I'm glad I don't seem to be off base with this though.

I'm having my level 2 ultrasound with MFM on 7/28.  I'll be 20+2 by then.  I can't believe it's only 4 weeks away.  This is flying by!!!

7/24 I'll be 18+4 when mine is done. This is because we are on vacation for 3 weeks visiting family and I will be missing my 16th week appt.

Another level 2 US here.  I'll have it on July 31st, at 19 weeks.  We could've scheduled it the week before but we're on vacation with the inlaws that week

@MJDsquared I've been concerned about how early it is too.  I even asked my ob today about the a/s being okay to do when I'm a day shy of 19 weeks, and she was like, "yep, that's fine".  I think I just had 20 weeks exactly stuck in my head and it's hard to deviate from that.  Also I realized this is the last scheduled ultrasound and if it's earlier in the pregnancy that's longer I'll have to go without seeing baby before meeting baby!

Mine is scheduled July 25th I'll be 21+1. I was supposed to have it July 17th but I'll be 800 miles away on vacation that week and my OB wouldn't let me schedule it a few days early at end of week 19
