Ugh only 2 of the 4 were mature!!!? How is that possible? I had 7 follies and we were certain the 4 on the right would be mature! this is shit. Ugh:(
Me: Hashimoto Autoimune Disease Homozygous MTHFR Cr677 DOR - AMH .27 High FSH (don't even know how high) 2 iui's to start - BFN IVF 1 -3 made it do day 5! 2 5AA 1 6BB PGS results = all abnormal IVF 2 - stimmed for 19 days. insanity. Had 5 follicles that looked mature but only 2 contained mature eggs the others were empty. Nothing made it to day 5 IVF 3 - added in HGH - 4 mature follicles (had some empties again) 3 made it to day 5/6 for PGS (held for testing with next retrieval IVF 4 - Upped my dosage for the first time - Canceled 11 days into sims - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty IVF 5 - Canceled - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty IVF 6 - 3 mature, 2 fertalized 1 made it to day 5 and sent for PGS
Sent in IVF round 3 and 6 (4 embryos) for PGS testing and got 2 normal embryos!!! 1Boy and 1Girl. Took a little over a year to get those two embryos so demanded all sorts of test prior to attempting transfer. Did EFT, ERA and NK Cells testing.
FET#1 - Intralipid drips, Prednisone, and did a depot lupron shot before starting the FET protocol Chemical pregnancy FET#2 - PGS normal boy - BFN Natural pregnancy - cycle following the FET2???? Miscarriage at 8 weeks. viability scan had shown an enlarged yolk sac so I had been warned that it was likely not chromosonally normal
DEIVF cycle - picked a donor who is willing to be open! Her cycle resulted in in 4 PGS Normal embryos 1st transfer - chemical pregnancy 2nd transfer - success, May 17 2020 due date!

Quick update- Two of the follicles that grew in uniform on my right hand side had really immature eggs. Like they never grew but the follicles did. Whaaaaaaat?! This is so crazy. She said they were germinal vesicles. She also mentioned that she would expect to see germinal vesicles in 10mm follies. Which they were not. They were at least 19 on trigger. And lastly she mentioned this makes her think of endometriosis. Which I've been suspicious of for the past year. So we are focusing right now on the 2 we have and hoping wishing and praying they pull through and at least one is normal. COME ON EMBABIES! I'm not a religious person but I often pray to my momma, and you better believe I've been sending out a string of prayers to her today. I've had the worst time trying to concentrate at work today.
It's been a hell of a 2 years with all this TTC and constantly discovering new health challenges. It might be a sign...but what is the sign...is it to adopt? Is it donor egg? Is it to not have kids and rescue 100 puppies??????? So many questions!

hopefuljj ugh I'm a bit disappointed seeing ur update. This is really frustrating and I'm sorry and yet you're still making jokes. Maybe you are suppose to have more fur babies while we wait....and you really have a sweet one! I'm praying these 2 are ur golden babies for sure. Do you have painful periods? My RE thought endo might be my issue from the beginning but it wasn't. I'm sorry this cycle is taking its toll. So can I assume that the 2 fertilized? Remember its quality for us. I did a bunch of praying last night myself especially since i couldn't sleep! I know your mama hears you, sending u hugs!

AFM: I feel a lil guilty sharing my news, but I couldn't wait to come share. I've had such a crazy day not that it matters as I got the best news as I was awoken from a nap as I was up all night. The results are in my embaby is NORMAL, i got my normie from cycle 7 - I couldn't have asked for anything better...I'd love to take back all the extra hours of crying and sleepless nights...but finally some good news. I'm still in shock and disbelief.

@hopefuljj I'm so sorry to hear your news. I had a complete breakdown last Friday when I found out my E2 went from 26 to 15 - how does that even happen? I'm taking meds-. The good news is that you have 2 embababies! Grow little ones grow!! I said a prayer for all of you ladies last night. Hoping you hear good news soon!

AFM- My E2 went from 26 to 15 and I was completely devastated. Not sure how it keeps dropping since I'm taking medication. However, I started to inject myself in the same area this week and have notice a difference. Now I'm questioning if I have been sabotaging myself this whole time. Waiting to hear back from the RE.
JamieH2000 i actually pm u last night you should know yes it is pink You know whenever anyone would ask my favorite color I would always say blue and purple have always hated pink. I will say as I've grown up a lil pink never hurt anyone I finally have both genders. A part of me never thought it could happen, it'll be a great sotry to tell her some day...I hope and pray
AC93639 thats very interesting...why do u think you're sabotaging yourself? My E2 dropped a lil towards the end...hoping ur RE will have some insight, I know how frustrating it is. Last night all i could do was go through my last 4 cycles and try to figure out how many days I actually wore my patch for and want to do the same...so I still haven't put it on even though they told me I could start it on sunday... Its tough to know what is "right" and we have to trust our drs too. It was my last cycle that my acupuncturist told me to use the gonal f on the side that was growing slowly and to separate the menupar and that...really OK, news to me. How many cycles have I done and I'm first learning this. But its something new every cycle. Does it work who knows but I know we're willing to try it all!

@hopefuljj- sorry this cycle has been so rough- and I totally get thinking about next steps. I did that too- the only way i could cope was having a back up plan. Now that I am on donor.. i really don't have any more back up plans, so this better work haha! I'll send lots of prayers for your two embabies and hope they are your golden ones! are you still doing PGS? or just going to transfer them and hope for the best?

@AC93639 have you seen your Estrogen go up since injecting in the same place?! What the heck! Why is there so much mystery to all this. I so keep shaking my fist at science and being like, aren't we beyond this science?!?!?!? What does your RE say about your levels, anything?

Thank you for your concerns. I had another E2 test and it went up to 38! (someone must be playing jokes on me). I've been injecting around the same place for about 5 days. I'm assuming this is helping.
I see the RE today for another check up. I will post soon.
Update for me: I just came back from the RE office. I have two
follies on my left side at around 11.6mm and three on my right at 11.79, 10.50,
and 9.51mm. I'm super excited!! The highest I had on my last cycles was at 8mm
until the canceled me.
Because this is a timed cycle, he wants me to drop my medication
to 150iu gonal f and 150iu of menopur. I know that I have a long way to go but

@Jamieh2000 I've been meaning to ask the doctor about this and how much it will cost. My insurance doesnt cover anything (IUI, IVF, Medication) except for the doctor visits, labs and ultrasound. We been paying out of pocket for my medication so far. I see him again tomorrow. I will ask him what are my options.
Anyone pays out of pocket and have an estimate on this?
@AC93639- I think just for the actual IUI procedure it was $400 at one of the clinics I went too. I think have seen up to $1000 some places, but hopefully it would be under $500 for you!

Just got the final update. Both embabies arrested. Another cycle with nothing to show for it:( I have to go to DH'a niece's birthday party now with allll of his nieces and nephews and then go to my sisters father in laws to have our last big celebration with my sister and her DH before she gives birth in a few weeks. Good God give me strength. I hope all you ladies are doing better than me on this beautiful Sunday.

hopefuljj I can totally understand your feelings but not your purpose.. The strength and love you have shown to your sister alone is remarkable! I'm sorry you're going through this! I know you want to do the testing but has your RE ever suggesting doing a 3dt? I'm sure you're thoughts are over the place. Take the time and do whatever you need for you, yell, scream and get it out of your system....and I dont mean it to sound harsh...its all still in my system. I just hope you can get to a point to regroup for your next steps. Last cycle you had 3 that made it so it doesn't mean that it can't happen again and get a normie out of the group!

@hopeful_mom & @jamieh2000 I decided not to ask the RE on Saturday about the IUI as he told us that we are ready to trigger on Monday- figured it was probably to late.
AFM: My E2 levels went from 38 to 148. My follies were measuring 17mm on Saturday. RE told me to continue the meds on Sat and Sunday. I'm triggering today and crossing all my fingers. Didn't think it would happen so quickly.

AFM: I took my first day of shots to find out that I'm missing the 27 guage needle for my menupar, WTH!! Like I haven't done this enough that I first realize now ugh!! I used the bigger ones and it was not cute! I didn't put it in all the way but still! I thought the smaller needles were with the regular syringes...I hate having to call the dr with this nonsense. Here's a good laugh for you all...I had to use a different car to go for monitoring this morning. First I couldn't find the remote to get into the car, then when I found it I thought it was broken so I was using the actual key to get into the car AND i was basically trying to break into someones car...no wonder the remote wasn't working. Talking about being half asleep.

Hi ladies - figured I'd update you on my immunology dr. A quick recap...ever since my MC Im still searching for the WHAT HAPPENED! my acupuncturist asked to see my blood work results from after. She saw them and suggested I also get the NK cell text (natural killer cell) I asked my RE about she basically said thats immunology testing. They dont do it and she doesn't think its necessary. I keep pressing the issue and she recommends someone I can reach out to. SO that bring me to my consultation with dr. braverman (immunology dr) today and i just have so many more questions. He thinks i could have a silent endometriosis issue...which could be problematic. Its all a guessing game BUT it would also mean to push everything back about 3 months. The blood work alone takes 6 weeks to do. i'm very torn AND also pissed that it took so long to get the appointment in the first place, 3 weeks ago I could've gotten the blood work done and still be on the path i'm at now UGH!!!!! He can't do the blood work while I have all these meds in my system...I literally just starting stemming WTH!!! You have to have faith in your RE and all my tests have shown no endo, but my mom has hashimotos which is an immune thing so he thinks i could be a carry of the gene which could be an issue...really. That could be the reason for my MC, so its hard to not really look into it....ugh now even more to think about. Lastly it'll cost me about another 6k and I might need a laparoscopy done...which also means more delay to a transfer. He suggested I stop stemming as endo can hurt your egg quality BUT its my choice. SO I can't say I'm feeling all that great today just trying to read and wrap my head around it. Happy to hear your thoughts...whether your endo knowledgeable or not!

@hopeful_mom Wow, that is a lot to take in.
I'm not familiar with endometriosis but I can offer my advice. I know that this
would push everything back 3 months but I would move forward with the
bloodwork. I rather find out if this is what is causing trouble and then weigh
my options. There is no wrong or right answer but I think it’s better to know
what you are working with. I'm sorry to hear about your update. I can
only imagine how frustrating this feels. Either way, it’s your decision on
what to do. I hope someone here is more familiar with this and can give you a
better advise. Hang in there.
@hopeful_mom- wow, that is alot to consider. I didn't know you had an appt with Braverman. I mean only you know what is best for you, but here is my thoughts. I would finish this cycle. You have already started and you know want another normal in your bank. After this, I think you could consider getting the bloodwork once the meds are out of your system. I also am not sure if I buy into the whole immunology thing or not, so i am not sure it is worth delaying since you have been waiting so long and everyday delay is one less day with your future children. It may be worth transferring one and if it doesn't work or you miscarry, then pursue the immunology path. It would be different if that path would guarantee you success, but it doesn't.
As far for the Endo, I had stage two removed last year and still have bad egg quality and haven't had success, so that also won't necessarily help anything. What makes him think you have silent endo? Your egg quality seems on par or better for your age (based on your PGS normal rate) and you were able to get pregnant. I don't think endo causes M/C really, rather can hurt egg quality or implantation. I know 3 ladies in my area who have had recurrent loss and saw someone similar to Braverman. One had 7 miscarriages and is now moving to GC. One had 4 losses and is now pregnant, but on bedrest for SCH and still at risk of misccargiage. Another had 3 losses, but is now pregnant with twins. However she had been seeing the immune RE for 6 months + and it took 2-3 transfers for it to work. Interestingly, the cycle that worked, the only thing she changed was gluten free. So who knows if the Immune RE really helped her have success.
Anyways, I totally respect whatever you decide and I'm here for you of course!

The fees for this is literally another cycle...I hate putting a price tag on it but its there!! I would've done the blood work if it didn't slow down the process....I know that sounds insane!!! Thanks for the info! I'm sorry your friends have experienced such losses, i'm so sad to hear that...it so hard to move on after just one loss, so that's what makes it tougher to figure out! @Hopeful_mom Sorry I don't have any knowledge on endo to offer you. I will say that after my recent TSH level (I've been hypothyroid since I started my IF journey) my new PCP diagnosed me with hashimoto's. I believe I could've had it since the beginning bc my RE only checked my T4 level and not my TSH value. Being it is a immune issue, I hope my success can bring some light to your situation. IVF 2 - stimmed for 19 days. insanity. Had 5 follicles that looked mature but only 2 contained mature eggs the others were empty. Nothing made it to day 5
IVF 3 - added in HGH - 4 mature follicles (had some empties again) 3 made it to day 5/6 for PGS (held for testing with next retrieval
IVF 4 - Upped my dosage for the first time - Canceled 11 days into sims - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty
IVF 5 - Canceled - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty
IVF 6 - 3 mature, 2 fertalized 1 made it to day 5 and sent for PGS
Sent in IVF round 3 and 6 (4 embryos) for PGS testing and got 2 normal embryos!!! 1Boy and 1Girl. Took a little over a year to get those two embryos so demanded all sorts of test prior to attempting transfer. Did EFT, ERA and NK Cells testing.

AFM: I feel a lil guilty sharing my news, but I couldn't wait to come share. I've had such a crazy day not that it matters as I got the best news as I was awoken from a nap as I was up all night. @hopefuljj I'm so sorry to hear your news. I had a complete breakdown last Friday when I found out my E2 went from 26 to 15 - how does that even happen? I'm taking meds-. AFM- My E2 went from 26 to 15 and I was completely devastated. Not sure how it keeps dropping since I'm taking medication. However, I started to inject myself in the same area this week and have notice a difference. Now I'm questioning if I have been sabotaging myself this whole time.

AC93639 thats very interesting...why do u think you're sabotaging yourself? My E2 dropped a lil towards the end...hoping ur RE will have some insight, I know how frustrating it is. Last night all i could do was go through my last 4 cycles and try to figure out how many days I actually wore my patch for and want to do the same...so I still haven't put it on even though they told me I could start it on sunday...
Its tough to know what is "right" and we have to trust our drs too. It was my last cycle that my acupuncturist told me to use the gonal f on the side that was growing slowly and to separate the menupar and that...really OK, news to me. How many cycles have I done and I'm first learning this. But its something new every cycle. Does it work who knows but I know we're willing to try it all!

Now that I am on donor.. i really don't have any more back up plans, so this better work haha! IVF 4 - Upped my dosage for the first time - Canceled 11 days into sims - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty
IVF 5 - Canceled - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty
IVF 6 - 3 mature, 2 fertalized 1 made it to day 5 and sent for PGS
Sent in IVF round 3 and 6 (4 embryos) for PGS testing and got 2 normal embryos!!! 1Boy and 1Girl. Took a little over a year to get those two embryos so demanded all sorts of test prior to attempting transfer. Did EFT, ERA and NK Cells testing.

Update for me: I just came back from the RE office. I have two follies on my left side at around 11.6mm and three on my right at 11.79, 10.50, and 9.51mm. I'm super excited!! The highest I had on my last cycles was at 8mm until the canceled me.
Because this is a timed cycle, he wants me to drop my medication to 150iu gonal f and 150iu of menopur. I know that I have a long way to go but I’m over the moon! Thank you, ladies, for the support!!

@Jamieh2000 I've been meaning to ask the doctor about this and how much it will cost. My insurance doesnt cover anything (IUI, IVF, Medication) except for the doctor visits, labs and ultrasound. We been paying out of pocket for my medication so far. I see him again tomorrow. I will ask him what are my options.
Anyone pays out of pocket and have an estimate on this?

@hopeful_mom & @jamieh2000 I decided not to ask the RE on Saturday about the IUI as he told us that we are ready to trigger on Monday- figured it was probably to late.
AFM: My E2 levels went from 38 to 148. My follies were measuring 17mm on Saturday. RE told me to continue the meds on Sat and Sunday. I'm triggering today and crossing all my fingers. Didn't think it would happen so quickly.

IVF 1 -3 made it do day 5! 2 5AA 1 6BB PGS results = all abnormal
IVF 2 - stimmed for 19 days. insanity. Had 5 follicles that looked mature but only 2 contained mature eggs the others were empty. Nothing made it to day 5
IVF 3 - added in HGH - 4 mature follicles (had some empties again) 3 made it to day 5/6 for PGS (held for testing with next retrieval
IVF 4 - Upped my dosage for the first time - Canceled 11 days into sims - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty
IVF 5 - Canceled - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty
IVF 6 - 3 mature, 2 fertalized 1 made it to day 5 and sent for PGS
Sent in IVF round 3 and 6 (4 embryos) for PGS testing and got 2 normal embryos!!! 1Boy and 1Girl. Took a little over a year to get those two embryos so demanded all sorts of test prior to attempting transfer. Did EFT, ERA and NK Cells testing.
FET#1 - Intralipid drips, Prednisone, and did a depot lupron shot before starting the FET protocol

FET#2 - PGS normal boy - BFN
Natural pregnancy - cycle following the FET2???? Miscarriage at 8 weeks. viability scan had shown an enlarged yolk sac so I had been warned that it was likely not chromosonally normal
DEIVF cycle - picked a donor who is willing to be open! Her cycle resulted in in 4 PGS Normal embryos

AFM: I was feeling a bit nauseaus yesterday afternoon with a headache and today I have really bad cramps on my lower abdomen. I hope this is normal? Anyone had this after the trigger shots?

AFM: I took my first day of shots to find out that I'm missing the 27 guage needle for my menupar, WTH!! Like I haven't done this enough that I first realize now ugh!! I used the bigger ones and it was not cute! I didn't put it in all the way but still! I thought the smaller needles were with the regular syringes...I hate having to call the dr with this nonsense.
Here's a good laugh for you all...I had to use a different car to go for monitoring this morning. First I couldn't find the remote to get into the car, then when I found it I thought it was broken so I was using the actual key to get into the car AND i was basically trying to break into someones car...no wonder the remote wasn't working. Talking about being half asleep.

I also am not sure if I buy into the whole immunology thing or not, so i am not sure it is worth delaying since you have been waiting so long and everyday delay is one less day with your future children. It may be worth transferring one and if it doesn't work or you miscarry, then pursue the immunology path. It would be different if that path would guarantee you success, but it doesn't.
As far for the Endo, I had stage two removed last year and still have bad egg quality and haven't had success, so that also won't necessarily help anything. What makes him think you have silent endo? Your egg quality seems on par or better for your age (based on your PGS normal rate) and you were able to get pregnant. I don't think endo causes M/C really, rather can hurt egg quality or implantation. I know 3 ladies in my area who have had recurrent loss and saw someone similar to Braverman. One had 7 miscarriages and is now moving to GC. One had 4 losses and is now pregnant, but on bedrest for SCH and still at risk of misccargiage. Another had 3 losses, but is now pregnant with twins. However she had been seeing the immune RE for 6 months + and it took 2-3 transfers for it to work. Interestingly, the cycle that worked, the only thing she changed was gluten free. So who knows if the Immune RE really helped her have success.
Anyways, I totally respect whatever you decide and I'm here for you of course!

Thanks for the info! I'm sorry your friends have experienced such losses, i'm so sad to hear that...it so hard to move on after just one loss, so that's what makes it tougher to figure out! Its not so cut and dry!! Nothing in this process is!
