hopeful_mom I go to SIRM NYC so I don't go to Dr. Sher directly but all the doctors at his clinics seem to follow all of his rules:). They even all do trigger in the deltoid muscle instead of the butt like Nurse Linda explains in the Sher IVF videos from the vegas office which seems specific to Sher/SIRM clinics.
I am am happy to be sticking with the same cycle and hope I get the same outcome with retrieval but at least 1 normal by the end!! I'm really praying for 3 normals, but I know that's a serious stretch:-/

Had 5 follicles that looked mature but only 2 contained mature eggs the others were empty. Nothing made it to day 5 IVF 3 - added in HGH - 4 mature follicles (had some empties again) 3 made it to day 5/6 for PGS (held for testing with next retrieval IVF 4 - Upped my dosage for the first time - Canceled 11 days into sims - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty IVF 5 - Canceled - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty IVF 6 - 3 mature, 2 fertalized 1 made it to day 5 and sent for PGS

DEIVF cycle - picked a donor who is willing to be open! Her cycle resulted in in 4 PGS Normal embryos 1st transfer - chemical pregnancy 2nd transfer - success, May 17 2020 due date!

hi ladies! Its been a day I swear!.... ER days should just be easy and relaxing and this was anything but!! (OH had a family emergency which took him away and made me late for ER where I was back to possibly using a frozen sample instead of fresh...so you can imagine all the extra stress that went along with already being anxious for today)
Took them a while to find my vein as usual. My RE was being understandable on my tardiness but also mentioned she doesn't want me to ovulate so you should've seen how fast I got changed and ready to go!! After all was said at done I did walk away with 4 eggs, I didn't cry do thats already better then last ER However it was 1 from the left and 3 from the right. Meaning the big left one was empty and then the 2 smaller ones on the right made it...just praying they are mature enough and fertilize. I feel like if they dont fertilize thats when they determine they're not mature. I hear others after ER know right away how many eggs and then how may are mature and so on. Maybe cause I get so few they can tell right away? Who knows. Glad its done! Just praying they all fertilize and make it through!!
Side note I asked my RE about my right vs left and she said right is right and left is left...so who knows, just glad I'm done and no shots tonight!!

Oh hopeful_mom that all sounds so stressful!!! I'm glad you made it through and got 4! I pray they are alll mature and fertilize! I am going to make sure to talk to them tonight and tomorrow morning to send encouraging fertilization words their way;). It sounds so silly but feels better than doing nothing!
When I had my ER my doctor told me I had 5 mature and one questionable and we would see what happens. When 5 fertilized I just assumed the one that didn't was the one that might not have been mature. So I think you are probably right. It's reassuring to know that right is right and left is left after all! That would have been so weird. Hope you get lots of rest and have a relaxing day tomorrow and receive great fertilization news! And yay for no shots tonight!!!!!

Having the empty follicle thing is a new thing for me which is not cute - I've always thought it was cruel when others mentioned it would happen and I'm sticking to it. I really evaluated each appt as I didn't want to trigger too early thinking the same thing could happen SO I'm glad I really stuck this round out as much as possible. Praying it paid off!!
And I feel like each time I always have this drama I have to go through - if I was reading it I'd be like - ok hear she goes again...and I wish it wasn't true. Trust me I know my OH wouldve wanted to cancel tpday or just have me use the frozen i have stored and skip it altogether BUT he screwed up my very first IVF cycle SO I'm glad he has maybe learned
Side note I asked my RE about FET. And I know I was in a fog but she doesn't to BCP I believe, so since my AF will be hear soon I will go meet with her early next week to get things moving, yay!!!

@hopeful_mom- so happy you got 4 and I'm hoping for a great report today! I can't believe you almost had another issue with the DH collection. Glad it all worked out though. JamieH2000 this last round has done me in physically and emotionally, taking shots for 2 weeks and everything else was a lot!! Its time to move on to transfer regardless of my results this cycle! I literally couldnt even afford this last cycle so right now I need to move on.
hopefuljj I'm excited thinking about a transfer but TERRIFIED at the same time. I have to be honest. My previous MC has scared the hell outta me. I hate that i keep expecting the worst out of this process. I"m trying hard not to talk it into myself but its hard too. You ladies will help keep me sane i hope!
AFM: I did get the call and 3 of the 4 fertilized, one per icisi and the other 2 regular insemination. Am I happy sure, bummed about the 4th hell yes!! You want them all to make it as when you do testing it cuts the odds down tremendously at my age I feel more frazzled maybe as my RE said they were doing icsi on the "good looking mature ones" so I feel like that means one egg was bad?? I know i have to take the 3 and PRAY they will all make it through!! My clinic will have a report for me day 2,3 and then 5...so I shall be a basket case everyday! PLease keep that normal good juju coming for me please ladies

AFM I'm starting to get terrified about starting again knowing I might end up with nothing again. I'm also ovulating really late this cycle ....I can tell it's coming any day cuz of CM but it sure is late after my IVF cycle. I hope that's not a bad sign.

hopefuljj interesting its late, all of mine were right on time or a day early i think...you're body recooping and glad you'll be able to start again! I know the fear is real! BUT remember I had success after a failure it is possible hang in there!! I've been on a bunch of threads with unfortunately some ladies who can't even get to the blast stage so at least you know you can do that. Give this a chance to work for you!!

Feeling crushed already - Not feeling very hopeful for this cycle! Have a 4AB which that I'm happy about but 2 - 2AB so thats really not great. Hoping they will perk up tomorrow and get in the game. This is where I even get frustrated with my faith, you can't give me a few days of hope and then crush my spirits. This cycle was torture and its not getting any easier. AND the fact that the icsi one right now is thriving makes me wonder if the other 2 wouldve done better with icsi as well....even though the other icsi egg didn't even fertilize. UGH I'm so annoyed as I dont make a lot of eggs and fertilization really hasn't been our issue.

Ugh!!! I am sorry lady, I can imagine you are very frustrated and disappointed. Ugh:(. There is still time right?! I'm hoping and praying those 2 catch up! I'm glad you have one that is doing great. Maybe those other two will start looking better tomorrow. I cant remember, did your DH get tested for the defragmentation in his sperm? It's so hard to know what would have happened if things were done differently. I'm keeping the hope alive over here! I'm still sending out positive affirmations and still thinking thoughts of good division and equal growing. Hoping for a report tomorrow that is promising.

Nothing made it to day 5 IVF 3 - added in HGH - 4 mature follicles (had some empties again) 3 made it to day 5/6 for PGS (held for testing with next retrieval IVF 4 - Upped my dosage for the first time - Canceled 11 days into sims - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty IVF 5 - Canceled - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty IVF 6 - 3 mature, 2 fertalized 1 made it to day 5 and sent for PGS

hopefuljj i sent a really lengthy email to my RE already today and you're right I should double check for defragmentation of the sperm. I think because he already has kids they said it wasn't a must. Trying to keep the hope alive...I hate that at times I feel like I'm being punished.

Today I shall be a glimmer of HOPE!! Just got off the phone with my RE she called after my lengthy email from yesterday I promise she wants me to become preggers as much as me so she doesn't have to deal with me anymore!!
OK so today everything is still growing - even my 4th egg had late fertilization and is a cell 4 today...is it a long shot sure BUT for today all 4 of my embabies are still in it. Today is day 3 and they should be between 6-10cell, Now I have 2 that are at 8, a 5 and now a 4 Today I am breathing easier. I doubt I will get an update over the weekend so its probably Monday that I will here who has made it for testing!! Really praying hard they all continue on!!
On another board one of the woman had shared that they say girls can take longer to develop and can be day 6 etc. Anyway I took that to heart last night so i could actually try and sleep! So now i just think my lil princesses are taking their sweet time! Talk about stressing me out from day 1!!

Yay!!!!! Wonderful news hopeful_mom! I'm so relieved! I'm actually really glad that I don't get updates when I let mine go to day 5 because it's just added stress and you don't know what will happen so it's basically unnecessary. That being said I think I stressed the entire time anyway thinking I could have nothing but I still was able to maintain hope so it was a little easier on me! I can't wait for a wonderful report Monday! I hope you can enjoy your weekend!

Nothing made it to day 5 IVF 3 - added in HGH - 4 mature follicles (had some empties again) 3 made it to day 5/6 for PGS (held for testing with next retrieval IVF 4 - Upped my dosage for the first time - Canceled 11 days into sims - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty IVF 5 - Canceled - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty IVF 6 - 3 mature, 2 fertalized 1 made it to day 5 and sent for PGS

hopefuljj I know the waiting game SUX!!! This was the first cycle I almost said to myself that it would've been better not knowing! Just knowing that at least 2 are now where they should be does make me feel better. If I was being monitored for a stress tests it would be off the charts!! FATHERS DAY QUESTION: How was fathers day for everyone? Do you find OH is moody or acts like he doesn't care? My day was a mess of things and my OH has kids so this question doesn't pertain to me BUT I know on mothers day people on here were not happy so I wonder if it effects the men as much!
AFM: Today technically would be day 5 for my embabies but because its sunday I really didn't think I would get a call and to my delight the head of the embabies dept. gave me a call. In a crazy frustrating day I got a glimmer of hope!! One is ready for testing and the others are still in it...shes hoping to get one or two more tomorrow.....praying with everything they will pull through!! If you've been following my grading you will find it interesting that the first that made it to blast was a regular fert and originally was a 2AB on day 2 and just perked right up...so praying that is a normie fighter right there!!

As for Fathers Day, my DH was in A grumpy mood all day yesterday but I wasn't sure if that was because he had to work on Saturday so he was just tired or what. He is not one to show or deal with feelings appropriately so who knows, maybe that mood was from that.
I just got bloodwork and a scan done because my RE is amazing and I emailed on Saturday night panicking about having missed O or not having O this month so she squeezed me in:) scan shows a 19 on my left so I think I just haven't ovulated yet. We will see what the bloodwork comes back at. I just want to get started again!!! Put me in Coach! I'm ready!!!

@hopeful_mom- wow, so glad they gave you good news on a sunday and I'll be waiting to hear more good news today! My DH was not effected by fathers day at all. I know this journey is hard on him, but mainly since its so hard for me. He really doesn't suffer the jealousy or similar feelings that I do towards others with children. We wished both our fathers a good day and then saw my Grandpa who is not doing well. So maybe that distracted us from our situation for the day at least.
@hopefuljj- I know what you mean, waiting is the worst! It sounds like it will be any minute for ovulation, and i know you are so ready to get going again!
AFM- I have an update, kind of. The clinic emailed on Thursday and said we should know at the end of the week if our first choice donor is available and eligible. I am insisting my RE looks at her first cycle and provides her opinion, even if the clinic says it was good enough to still be a donor. If she is borderline at all, we will probably wait for our next choice donor to be available at the end of July. With what we are paying, we are hoping for 6-10 day 5 embryos, so if her first cycle wasn't near that, we probably wouldn't proceed. However, we really really like her (physically, profile responses, etc), so please send prayers she is willing, available, and eligible to donate for us!

AFM: My update is strange as I had to call my lab for results as they never called me today. They called on sunday but not a regular business day? odd! Anyhoo the lady seemed a lil confused BUT I think I have another 5AA today, not sure why it wouldn't be called a 6AA, I'll take it either way. She was confused by my chart but said they're still watching the other 2 BUT she didn't sound hopeful, so i'm hoping these are just the 2 that I need! Have my RE appt tomorrow so i'll wait to just go over it with her then.

Hello! I’m new to this board. I’m 31 years with low amh of
.70 - was at .97 in December. Found a new RE and excited to start again- trying
to stay positive! I will be on 3 vials of Gonal-F 75ui and 1 vial of Menopur
75iu. I hope this is the magic formula for me.
@AC93639 welcome my AMH was at .97 back in march I hasn't tested since. I also have a blocked tube. Clomid didn't work for me as good as the RE thought so I was on Clomid and Gonal-f I was able to produce 7 follicles im keeping my fingers crossed for you!

my little update I produced 7 follicles with Gonal-f but 4 of them were on my blocked follopion tube side. And 3 on my good side they triggered me and did IUI 2 days later. I ended up with OHSS omg I don't wish that on anyone it hurts soo bad! I was getting my hopes up as I was scowering googles to see success story of people getting OHSS and still getting a bfp, but didn't find much. I am on progesterone and it minis pregnancy symptoms so hard to tell what's real.I had a my beta yesterday and it was 51.8. I'm a little nervous since I've been having cramping and I had a chemical pregnancy last month. I go back Wednesday the 21st for 2nd beta.
@hopeful_mom- I really hope you had at least 2 make it, if not more, and that you get all the answers today! I will be waiting to see your update!
@AC93639- Welcome! Sorry you are here with us, but its nice to talk to others in a similar situation! are you doing IUI or IVF? I tried accupuncture for 6 months and didn't see any results. I was never able to fall asleep, and the stress of getting to the appts on top of all the other appts just wasn't worth it. I would say try it for a month or two and see if you feel any better!
@moni2016- sorry about the oHSS! But that is great you got a positive beta! How many days past IUI were you? FX it keeps doubling!!

@jamieh2000 Thank you! I agree, its sad that I'm in this situation but happy I have others to talk to. It can be a lonely road. We are doing TI - Timed Intercourse for this cycle but may change to IUI or IVF. I was able to produce some follies last cycles but not big enough to do the triger shot. We had a bad experience with the last RE. He basically told me that there is no other option but egg donor or adoption. We only did two cycles with just Menopur. My new RE is more positive and trying different medication combinations. Good luck on your egg donor! I hope she is willing, available and eligible!
@JamieH2000 I was 12dpiui and my level was 51.8. I still hav cramping and bloating and hope everything is ok, no spotting or bleeding I'm hoping it's just symptoms from the progesterone. I took a dollar test today and the line was super faint so I took a frer and it was more prominent. Just hope it sticks.
AC93639 welcome and sorry you find yourself here! Low AMH is scary but you have age on your side too so hopefully your producing good quality!! I'm a lil scared that your previous RE had that attitude. You can see in my siggy I've been down this round a few times. I wasn't 40 when I started but close enough and have been through the ringer. I will say one IVF cycle I had a terrible response and on RE for my clinic that has been in this for many years mentioned DE to me and I SOBBED!!! At the time we hadn't even gotten my eggs out to see if I had a shot. I've gone through a lot but I finally have produced a PGS tested normal embryo that I shall hopefully transfer next cycle. (TW) I went through a terrible loss and maybe with DE I would've been spared this last year of pure torture but for me I know I wanted to try. I'm still not out of the woods but I did give it a whirl. So I'm glad to here you can give it a try. As for the acupuncture, I hate it and I dont think it does much for me in terms of relaxing. @JamieH2000 said I felt the same way BUT I found new places for my 3rd cycle and started up again with it. I did get my first BFP EVER that cycle, I MC at 10 wks but I can't say they did that. Here's why I made every effort to try and go. My 4th cycle of IVF I was pretty stress free and did no acupuncture (this was my first cycle back after my MC) I had a great response to my meds, best ever and all my embryos that made it to blast all came back abnormal. No could it be that I needed another cycle to mend my body sure. Ivf cycles 5 and 6, I started back up with acupuncture and didn't go a ton but tried to at least get a few visits in. My response in numbers wasn't great but I did get 2 normies back both cycles yay!! Now I did acupuncture for IVF cycle #7 so i'm praying that I'll be able to add more to my normies in the bank. Really hoping I can come back and give you more good news. People swear by it and some have coverage. It is pricey as I am OOP for everything but maybe it did help me...

AFM: Had my RE appt today so I was able to get my full report!! I have some fighters on my hand so hoping this is a good sign in the end. Day 5, I got the one 5AA and on day 6 I got the other 2 at 5AA woohoo!!! My lil ladies are already striving for excellence. Even my late fertilized one was still going on day 7 but I think it's a wrap on that one. So 3 are ready to go! Praying they all come back to me normal. Finally taking the next step for FET, I kind of can't believe it's finally time. Looks like I will learn the joy of pio but hopefully not everyday if my levels are on point. We did some time of test that I requested to make sure all is good in the hood down below, its similar to a pap smear but (TMI) I am in so much pain right now OMG!! I dont know if its also the heat mixed with the friction of the day but holy geez!! I'm hoping the swelling will go down. I swear being a chic is stuff and i'm so sensitive to begin with Lucky I'm still excited for my lil ones making it through!! And My RE was in a good mood, I think pregnancy agrees with her and shes much friendlier to me, glad it only took so many cycles! Anyhoo I told her that I share that she tells me how old I am and she stated "no, thats not true, your ovaries are just old" thanks Doc!

JamieH2000 I'm praying so hard for it!! I want my IVF journey to end on a high note! Doing these extra cycles you like to think you're making the right choices and not wasting time and all this extra money as well!! It's funny that I"m always taking notes on everything but this one name of the test I keep forgetting. Its to make sure I dont have an infection we're not seing. A girl on another board had it done and its a good thing she did as she has to delay her FET and it wouldve caused a MC if they didn't catch it. I'm obviously scared outta my mind for the transfer...I just want to triple check that everything looks perfect and healthy so we can make it!! It's funny that I say shes being nicer but I also think its that I dont have the million questions just a 100 so we have a few extra minutes of normal chat Shes a great RE and really knows her stuff so I'm glad I stuck with her even though we did have a very bumpy start!! This process is tough and you do need to trust your RE and thats really hard too! I did get my protocol and a preliminary calendar so if AF shows up soon it could be as early as the week of July 10th eeeeeekkkkkkkk! I'll be taking estrace orally and as the days continue I'll add to the dosage. Crinone 2x a day which will be new for me as I only use to take it at night BUT I did learn something new! The nurse mentioned that if you actually walk about and move around the gel works better and doesn't get all clumpy up in there where it needs to come out! Who knew? I told her I wish I wouldve known that the first time. Luckily if my levels stay good I can do the estrace orally which I prefer, so not a fan of it vaginally! My RE is also adding the PIO but only every 3rd day if my levels are good. She mentioned theres a new study that hasn't even been published yet stating that it does help during FET so I'm all about it!! Its funny we will do anything for this cause to help the outcome!! And yes hoping my results will come in sooner then later! Its funny cause usually by this time I get an email from the lab so i'm laughing that already its running behind. We shall see!! 1/2 way to the end of the week so hoping your news is on the way!!

@hopeful_mom- wow that is soo soon! So do you wait for ovulation and then do a transfer? I think this is a natural FET protocol? I have done Crinone before, and prefer it to the PIO. Its icky, but the PIO made my bum so sore and I needed my DH to help with it. But thats interesting about the new study. Glad you will be doing both then! I keep checking my email but no updates from the clinic yet... hopefully soon!

JamieH2000 i think the estrace is "suppose" to supress so we shall see, I still think its considered medicated. She did mention Lurpon if i dont supress properly and I laughed. @hopeful_mom Thank you! I think the RE was waiting to see a different reaction out of me when he mentioned DE and adoption (I was mad but didnt cry- and he offered me his services for both of these). Not that its wrong or a possibility for me in the future but I refuse to believe that is the only option. I was pretty upset with the overall attention I received from that clinic. Getting information was like pulling teeth and got a lot of attitute from the staff. If I had no response to the medicines at all, I would entertain the idea of DE. But I did get a response (even if it was a little). I took a month break to lose weight and change my eating habits. I feel like I'm in a better place. I need to learn how to not stress out too much at work. This is the reason why I asked about acupuncture. (TW) I'm so sorry about your loss. I can't imagine going thru all of that. I hope and pray that your miracle comes soon. Keeping my FX for you!
@hopeful_mom- i may consider emailing, but i feel like they will reach out to me as soon as possible, since I know they want to get me started (I mean we are paying lots of $$ here haha). I really hope your ovaries enjoy their break after working so hard the last few months!
@AC93639- I am so glad you found a new RE! You definitely need one willing to work with you. My siggy is long, but you can see it took till my third IVF to find the right protocol for my body. Hopefully your new RE is willing to try some more options! I can't believe your old RE only gave menopur and not gonal F/follistim with that. Hopefully with a little more stims, you can get those follicles to grow until they are mature! When do you start your next cycle?

AC93639 I'm glad you had the will power and didn't cry - I cried the first time in my RE office and I think it was just the reality that I had to be there, who knows. I 'm sure I wasn't the first and I certainly won't be the last! I think about DE as I'm still not there but I"m happy I stuck with it and will hopefully get there! You're other RE shouldn't be lets just say. I'm glad you're here and you can see on this board and many other threads that everyone has diferent protocols and what works for one doesn't work for another! Hopefully your stay wont be here long!

@Jamieh2000 Yes, I'm glad he is thinking outside of the box and trying different things. I'm taking progesterone for 14 days to bring my AF (My body doesn't produce enough hormone on my own). So I'm looking to start in approx. two weeks. Hope you hear from them soon!
@hopeful_mom Believe me, I cried in the car. I was so upset with the RE that all I saw was red while in his office. My new RE is a total opposite and is willing to work with me. I'm glad I'm here and I met you and @jamieh2000. I consider myself a very private person and keep things to myself. I'm glad I found a place where I can talk freely about this. Hope your taking it easy and resting those ovaries!

hopeful_mom I go to SIRM NYC so I don't go to Dr. Sher directly but all the doctors at his clinics seem to follow all of his rules:). They even all do trigger in the deltoid muscle instead of the butt like Nurse Linda explains in the Sher IVF videos from the vegas office which seems specific to Sher/SIRM clinics.
I am am happy to be sticking with the same cycle and hope I get the same outcome with retrieval but at least 1 normal by the end!! I'm really praying for 3 normals, but I know that's a serious stretch:-/

IVF 1 -3 made it do day 5! 2 5AA 1 6BB PGS results = all abnormal
IVF 2 - stimmed for 19 days. insanity. Had 5 follicles that looked mature but only 2 contained mature eggs the others were empty. Nothing made it to day 5
IVF 3 - added in HGH - 4 mature follicles (had some empties again) 3 made it to day 5/6 for PGS (held for testing with next retrieval
IVF 4 - Upped my dosage for the first time - Canceled 11 days into sims - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty
IVF 5 - Canceled - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty
IVF 6 - 3 mature, 2 fertalized 1 made it to day 5 and sent for PGS
Sent in IVF round 3 and 6 (4 embryos) for PGS testing and got 2 normal embryos!!! 1Boy and 1Girl. Took a little over a year to get those two embryos so demanded all sorts of test prior to attempting transfer. Did EFT, ERA and NK Cells testing.

hi ladies! Its been a day I swear!.... ER days should just be easy and relaxing and this was anything but!!

Took them a while to find my vein as usual. My RE was being understandable on my tardiness but also mentioned she doesn't want me to ovulate so you should've seen how fast I got changed and ready to go!!

When I had my ER my doctor told me I had 5 mature and one questionable and we would see what happens. When 5 fertilized I just assumed the one that didn't was the one that might not have been mature. So I think you are probably right.
It's reassuring to know that right is right and left is left after all! That would have been so weird.

Having the empty follicle thing is a new thing for me which is not cute - I've always thought it was cruel when others mentioned it would happen and I'm sticking to it. I really evaluated each appt as I didn't want to trigger too early thinking the same thing could happen SO I'm glad I really stuck this round out as much as possible. Praying it paid off!!
And I feel like each time I always have this drama I have to go through - if I was reading it I'd be like - ok hear she goes again...and I wish it wasn't true. Trust me I know my OH wouldve wanted to cancel tpday or just have me use the frozen i have stored and skip it altogether BUT he screwed up my very first IVF cycle SO I'm glad he has maybe learned
Side note I asked my RE about FET. And I know I was in a fog but she doesn't to BCP I believe, so since my AF will be hear soon I will go meet with her early next week to get things moving, yay!!!

AFM I'm starting to get terrified about starting again knowing I might end up with nothing again. I'm also ovulating really late this cycle ....I can tell it's coming any day cuz of CM but it sure is late after my IVF cycle. I hope that's not a bad sign.

hopefuljj interesting its late, all of mine were right on time or a day early i think...you're body recooping and glad you'll be able to start again! I know the fear is real! BUT remember I had success after a failure it is possible hang in there!! I've been on a bunch of threads with unfortunately some ladies who can't even get to the blast stage so at least you know you can do that. Give this a chance to work for you!!

I cant remember, did your DH get tested for the defragmentation in his sperm? It's so hard to know what would have happened if things were done differently. I'm keeping the hope alive over here! Today I shall be a glimmer of HOPE!! Just got off the phone with my RE she called after my lengthy email from yesterday
OK so today everything is still growing - even my 4th egg had late fertilization and is a cell 4 today...is it a long shot sure BUT for today all 4 of my embabies are still in it. Today is day 3 and they should be between 6-10cell, Now I have 2 that are at 8, a 5 and now a 4
On another board one of the woman had shared that they say girls can take longer to develop and can be day 6 etc. Anyway I took that to heart last night so i could actually try and sleep! So now i just think my lil princesses are taking their sweet time! Talk about stressing me out from day 1!!

AFM: Today technically would be day 5 for my embabies but because its sunday I really didn't think I would get a call and to my delight the head of the embabies dept. gave me a call. In a crazy frustrating day I got a glimmer of hope!! One is ready for testing and the others are still in it...shes hoping to get one or two more tomorrow.....praying with everything they will pull through!! If you've been following my grading you will find it interesting that the first that made it to blast was a regular fert and originally was a 2AB on day 2 and just perked right up...so praying that is a normie fighter right there!!

As for Fathers Day, my DH was in A grumpy mood all day yesterday but I wasn't sure if that was because he had to work on Saturday so he was just tired or what. He is not one to show or deal with feelings appropriately so who knows, maybe that mood was from that.
I just got bloodwork and a scan done because my RE is amazing and I emailed on Saturday night panicking about having missed O or not having O this month so she squeezed me in:) scan shows a 19 on my left so I think I just haven't ovulated yet. We will see what the bloodwork comes back at. I just want to get started again!!! Put me in Coach! I'm ready!!!

@hopefuljj- I know what you mean, waiting is the worst! It sounds like it will be any minute for ovulation, and i know you are so ready to get going again!
AFM- I have an update, kind of. The clinic emailed on Thursday and said we should know at the end of the week if our first choice donor is available and eligible. I am insisting my RE looks at her first cycle and provides her opinion, even if the clinic says it was good enough to still be a donor. If she is borderline at all, we will probably wait for our next choice donor to be available at the end of July. With what we are paying, we are hoping for 6-10 day 5 embryos, so if her first cycle wasn't near that, we probably wouldn't proceed. However, we really really like her (physically, profile responses, etc), so please send prayers she is willing, available, and eligible to donate for us!

Anyhoo the lady seemed a lil confused BUT I think I have another 5AA today, not sure why it wouldn't be called a 6AA, I'll take it either way. She was confused by my chart but said they're still watching the other 2 BUT she didn't sound hopeful, so i'm hoping these are just the 2 that I need! Have my RE appt tomorrow so i'll wait to just go over it with her then.

Hello! I’m new to this board. I’m 31 years with low amh of .70 - was at .97 in December. Found a new RE and excited to start again- trying to stay positive! I will be on 3 vials of Gonal-F 75ui and 1 vial of Menopur 75iu. I hope this is the magic formula for me.

my little update I produced 7 follicles with Gonal-f but 4 of them were on my blocked follopion tube side. And 3 on my good side they triggered me and did IUI 2 days later. I ended up with OHSS omg I don't wish that on anyone it hurts soo bad! I was getting my hopes up as I was scowering googles to see success story of people getting OHSS and still getting a bfp, but didn't find much. I am on progesterone and it minis pregnancy symptoms so hard to tell what's real.I had a my beta yesterday and it was 51.8. I'm a little nervous since I've been having cramping and I had a chemical pregnancy last month. I go back Wednesday the 21st for 2nd beta.
@AC93639- Welcome! Sorry you are here with us, but its nice to talk to others in a similar situation! are you doing IUI or IVF? I tried accupuncture for 6 months and didn't see any results. I was never able to fall asleep, and the stress of getting to the appts on top of all the other appts just wasn't worth it. I would say try it for a month or two and see if you feel any better!
@moni2016- sorry about the oHSS! But that is great you got a positive beta! How many days past IUI were you? FX it keeps doubling!!

@jamieh2000 Thank you! I agree, its sad that I'm in this situation but happy I have others to talk to. It can be a lonely road. We are doing TI - Timed Intercourse for this cycle but may change to IUI or IVF. I was able to produce some follies last cycles but not big enough to do the triger shot. We had a bad experience with the last RE. He basically told me that there is no other option but egg donor or adoption. We only did two cycles with just Menopur. My new RE is more positive and trying different medication combinations. Good luck on your egg donor! I hope she is willing, available and eligible!

As for the acupuncture, I hate it and I dont think it does much for me in terms of relaxing. @JamieH2000 said I felt the same way BUT I found new places for my 3rd cycle and started up again with it. I did get my first BFP EVER that cycle, I MC at 10 wks but I can't say they did that. Here's why I made every effort to try and go. My 4th cycle of IVF I was pretty stress free and did no acupuncture (this was my first cycle back after my MC) I had a great response to my meds, best ever and all my embryos that made it to blast all came back abnormal. No could it be that I needed another cycle to mend my body sure. Ivf cycles 5 and 6, I started back up with acupuncture and didn't go a ton but tried to at least get a few visits in. My response in numbers wasn't great but I did get 2 normies back both cycles yay!! Now I did acupuncture for IVF cycle #7 so i'm praying that I'll be able to add more to my normies in the bank. Really hoping I can come back and give you more good news. People swear by it and some have coverage. It is pricey as I am OOP for everything but maybe it did help me...

AFM: Had my RE appt today so I was able to get my full report!! I have some fighters on my hand so hoping this is a good sign in the end. Day 5, I got the one 5AA and on day 6 I got the other 2 at 5AA woohoo!!! My lil ladies are already striving for excellence. Even my late fertilized one was still going on day 7 but I think it's a wrap on that one. So 3 are ready to go! Praying they all come back to me normal.
Finally taking the next step for FET, I kind of can't believe it's finally time. Looks like I will learn the joy of pio but hopefully not everyday if my levels are on point. We did some time of test that I requested to make sure all is good in the hood down below, its similar to a pap smear but (TMI) I am in so much pain right now OMG!! I dont know if its also the heat mixed with the friction of the day but holy geez!! I'm hoping the swelling will go down. I swear being a chic is stuff and i'm so sensitive to begin with
And My RE was in a good mood, I think pregnancy agrees with her and shes much friendlier to me, glad it only took so many cycles! Anyhoo I told her that I share that she tells me how old I am and she stated "no, thats not true, your ovaries are just old" thanks Doc!

It's funny that I"m always taking notes on everything but this one name of the test I keep forgetting. Its to make sure I dont have an infection we're not seing. A girl on another board had it done and its a good thing she did as she has to delay her FET and it wouldve caused a MC if they didn't catch it. I'm obviously scared outta my mind for the transfer...I just want to triple check that everything looks perfect and healthy so we can make it!!
It's funny that I say shes being nicer but I also think its that I dont have the million questions just a 100 so we have a few extra minutes of normal chat
I did get my protocol and a preliminary calendar so if AF shows up soon it could be as early as the week of July 10th eeeeeekkkkkkkk!
I'll be taking estrace orally and as the days continue I'll add to the dosage. Crinone 2x a day which will be new for me as I only use to take it at night BUT I did learn something new! The nurse mentioned that if you actually walk about and move around the gel works better and doesn't get all clumpy up in there where it needs to come out! Who knew? I told her I wish I wouldve known that the first time. Luckily if my levels stay good I can do the estrace orally which I prefer, so not a fan of it vaginally! My RE is also adding the PIO but only every 3rd day if my levels are good. She mentioned theres a new study that hasn't even been published yet stating that it does help during FET so I'm all about it!! Its funny we will do anything for this cause to help the outcome!!
And yes hoping my results will come in sooner then later! Its funny cause usually by this time I get an email from the lab so i'm laughing that already its running behind. We shall see!!

@AC93639- I am so glad you found a new RE! You definitely need one willing to work with you. My siggy is long, but you can see it took till my third IVF to find the right protocol for my body. Hopefully your new RE is willing to try some more options! I can't believe your old RE only gave menopur and not gonal F/follistim with that. Hopefully with a little more stims, you can get those follicles to grow until they are mature! When do you start your next cycle?
Diagnosis: Mild Endo, DOR (AMH of 1.5), Poor Quality Eggs/embryos, Displaced Window of Implantation (ERA Post Receptive)

January 2017- New RE, IVF#3 with Estrogen Priming Antagonist Protocol, 12 eggs, 8 mature, 6 fertilized, 2 day 5 early blasts transferred (none to freeze
May 2017- Sept 2017- Starting Donor Egg process! Waiting for donor to be available... and then she is pregnant at baseline
Oct 2017- Donor #2: 25R, 22M,18F, 12 blasts frozen! Fresh transfer cancelled due to thin lining with fluid
Nov 2017- Hysterscopy to remove polyp

@Jamieh2000 Yes, I'm glad he is thinking outside of the box and trying different things. I'm taking progesterone for 14 days to bring my AF (My body doesn't produce enough hormone on my own). So I'm looking to start in approx. two weeks.

@hopeful_mom Believe me, I cried in the car. I was so upset with the RE that all I saw was red while in his office. My new RE is a total opposite and is willing to work with me. I'm glad I'm here and I met you and @jamieh2000. I consider myself a very private person and keep things to myself. I'm glad I found a place where I can talk freely about this. Hope your taking it easy and resting those ovaries!
