hey everyone! im back! been busy with the new job! and @MJDsquared your baby is as big as an order of large fries! we have the same due date so mine is as well
Just went to visit the daycare we picked with DH (I'd gone twice already and secured a spot) and after seeing the four babies there he texted me when he got to work and said, "I want the baby now!" Hahaha. It's cute, but aside from us not being ready, the sooner the baby gets here the sooner it starts growing up so I'm not there yet! Haha.
Also, the only boy baby there had a super full head of hair and it was so adorable. Ugh babies are so cute.
I had a dream last night about being in a non stop breastfeeding loop with the twins. Ok, ok, it was a nightmare! So today I ordered some e-books specifically on feeding twins. Crisis averted!
We just got called out for being mean, not classy, and catty. Lol. But the reasoning was basically what we've been over before: not handholding drivebys. Really hope we keep this level of cattiness up, in that case!
Going to go check the out now... fyi, there's a HILARIOUS thread in the March BMB. It's like 4 pages long and is just the most ridiculous shit ever. Bravo to out lovely fellow TTGPers for holding it down. Because. Fuckinng science. Youll know it when you see it.
@MJDsquared I just got all caught up in the bathtub - because I've got to read something - and I was laughing so hard my husband thought something was wrong. Oh my dear god. A heartbeat begins at day 1, huh? Fucking hell. Our country is DOOMED.
@kvacmak I definitely had the thought that at least we left an impression on someone (to the point where they even remembered specific thread names!), so we're obviously not totally boring! Haha
I also think it's funny that she called out the orgasm thread, as I don't think anyone was particularly mean in that one. Yeah, we've had some threads get a bit heated, but that wasn't really one of them!

@Tennis11785 I thought that too! Maybe she's never had one either and took it personally? Either way... I think that thread is full of great advice because no one should live like that
And now I just read the March thread you referred to. Gold. I like those March girls. Best line was you can believe a hippo is a duck and duck is a planet. I love a great analogy!
You guys, I feel so terrible. One of my dogs was pretty sick late Saturday night but acting ok today. I took him to my moms today for her to keep an eye on him while we were out. Well he died while he was there . I was planning to take him to the vet tomorrow, but I still feel terrible. He was very old, but it still sucks.

For what it's worth, I don't see her name listed as the latest post anywhere. I remember when people first started talking about seeing her listed as the most recent posted but not being able to see the post thinking it was weird cause I didn't see her user name anywhere. @jlemons-2@MJDsquared

Every now and then I catch myself genuinely surprised that I'm pregnant and that in less than 4 months (if not sooner) I'm going to have TWO new members in our family. Overwhelmed by this miracle that is pregnancy, and that my husband and I are actually making people.
Gah and now I'm crying, thanks hormones! Just had to get it out.
@breezybee I feel your pain. I don't even like wearing bras anymore which is surprising because I usually can't stand going braless. As a teen/early adult I used to sleep in bras. Right now I think I need bras without underwire.
@ktcakes87 i'm so sorry. losing a dog is difficult no matter the circumstances. please don't blame yourself. i can sort of relate, when i was stuck in the hospital for longer than expected at the end of my last pregnancy, my two dogs were at my ILs. well, the day we got discharged, one of them died unexpectedly. he was a rescue, we didn't know how old he was, but it definitely was not his time. he had been acting strange every once in a while but the vet never found anything. i hadn't seen him in three weeks and it broke my heart. my dog before that we had to put down at 12 yo due to congestive heart failure - but he should have lived another five years as he was a JRT. anyway, TLDR all the hugs and love to you.
@clovelyone haha, i don't think i've met another person with a preference to always have a bra on. most people take them off as soon as they get home. i have one on unless i am showering. i am so with you, it's become uncomfortable. having a larger chest is just, no thank you. i'm not usually that small but when i'm pregnant that shit crosses the line for sure.

also, my other random for 7-31 is, can we PLEASE restart some of these threads fresh, perhaps tomorrow for the month of august? i don't care if our threads are weekly or biweekly or something but some of these are just getting really old.
also, i think we could probably take a second stab at assigning daily threads to people if we want to do a better job of getting them started in the mornings and not "missing" some of them or having them start at the end of the day. it would get more conversation going.
and lastly, i really do wish lurkers or people who don't post as much would just, you know, participate. there is no "in" crowd. when more people join a conversation, and have opinions, it plants the seeds for the conversation to grow.

@clovelyone I'm actually with you, I've always preferred to have a bra on than not (I don't like the feeling of my boobs just hanging there, unsupported). But lately they're uncomfortable no matter what I do. Fun times.
Personally, I'm a fan of threads being weekly - just because it creates something fresh at the top of the list of posts and prevents us from forgetting to adding to it. But if the group decides they like biweekly, I'm fine with that too.
Also - lurkers PLEASE come say hi! We won't bite your head off! Jump into those established threads. Even if you feel like you have nothing worthwhile to say! We're all just sharing our perspective and I bet you have something fabulous to contribute!!
