@MJDsquared I think it could be because it's summer time. I know I have been a little abscent lately due to it. Between house projects, outdoor projects, lake time, vacation, etc. I find myself really behind on any social or online life!!
I don't know who posted it originally or in what thread but: It turns out the shooting that happened at a gender reveal party in Ohio, the girl who said she lost her baby from being shot in the leg wasn't even pregnant!

Oh, also... This is super random. One of our church customers has the quote, "When you fish with Jesus your nets tear!" in their signature and I'm trying to figure it out. I'm not religious at all, but I'm really not getting why that's a good thing? Way over my head lol.
@MJDsquared that is a little confusing! I'm wondering if a net tearing is fisherman code for if a catch is super full/heavy. So fishing with Jesus means you get way more than you expected. Not a great saying if that's the point he's trying to make!
@elcd458 I had that thought too, but I was like, "Wow, it would still really suck if you had TONS of fish in your net but then they all got away because it tore." Hahaha.
@MJDsquared yeah, I was also thinking maybe because you catch so many fish? Doesn't seem to be a good metaphor, though. I am mildly religious (Episcopalian) and live in Mississippi (very Christian) and have never heard that expression.

My MIL bought me two Lularoe dresses (the only Lularoe things I own). Just the t-shirt swing dress type one. I'm wearing one today, I get to work and notice a diagonal line of pilling/fuzz across my chest. The only thing that could've caused it was my seatbelt on the 20 minute drive in this morning. Wow, what awesome quality...
@MJDsquared Yeah. Don't get me wrong, their stuff is super comfy, and if you can find a pattern that isn't hideous, it's cute too. But the quality is garbage. You aren't supposed to ever dry ANY of it in a dryer. Since ain't nobody got time for that, I dry it all anyway. And some items have withstood the test and some haven't.
Also, if someone uses the phrase "buttery soft" to describe leggings one more time... sigh. Like, is "soft" really the first adjective that comes to mind when one thinks of butter?? Why is this a saying? /end rant
@elcd458 That is true, it's really comfy. If it ends up getting totally trashed I'll just sleep in it!
Totally agree about the butter thing. I absolutely hate touching butter because it's so greasy and hard to get off your hands! So it's like...let's pick another 'soft' word!
@MJDsquared I went a little wild with the LLR after I had DS and didn't have anything to wear when I went back to work. I do like some of their shirts, but I just can't justify paying 35 bucks for a TEE-SHIRT let alone $55 for a t-shirt dress! I bought an Amelia and it was like, halloween costume material. After that I was donezo. I'll save my dollars for the Target clearance racks. And yes, the piling is ridiculous.
@flowerpower5838 That's a good point about the pricing. I can tell you that I SWEAR it used to be cheaper. An acquaintance of mine had a couple of LLR parties back in like 2013/2014 when there was only one consultant in our entire state and I don't think I paid more than $20 for any of it.
@elcd458 My SIL became a consultant maybe a year ago? Or last fall? I though "oh cool I'll be able to get stuff at cost." lol I was wrong.
General PSA: If you're interested in LLR but don't like the price tag I would only shop going out of business sales. You can find them by just searching GOOB Lularoe or something similar on FB - Signed a recovering addict haha
Is there anything considered tacky to add to a baby registry? I am specifically wondering about movies -- would love to have some on hand for LO when she's a little older (Disney classics and whatnot), but don't know if this is weird since it's kind of for a year or two down the road.

just adding on to my original post that I am doing my registry on Amazon and figured I could find some of the Disney classics I was looking for (Cinderella, Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty, etc.) but it's not looking like this will happen. The DVDs are either way too expensive or are a weird format like a UK import or something, or are sold by a 3rd party, or are some kind of $80 special collector's edition. I literally just want a basic DVD of the one movie in its one format, for $15 or less. Does anyone know where to find these movies? Why is it so hard? I even checked the Disney Store online and couldn't find much.

Also bored AF. Work is slow today which is kind of nice because it's been a hectic week. Butttttt at least the day goes by quickly when it's busy!
Random with me - I am going OOT for a bridal shower this weekend and I made generic plans to have dinner with my BIL's (recently) ex girlfriend with whom I am typically very close (she was a bridesmaid in my wedding) although it's been quiet on both ends recently. That was about a month ago? Maybe six weeks? Anyway, I completely forgot about making those vague "let's get dinner when I am in town" plans and made plans with DH's family, of course including BIL, but also other OOT family so I can't really break those plans at this point. I feel SO guilty. I am only in town for 2.5 days and I am busy nearly the entire time I am there. We haven't even brought dinner plans back up since they were made so I am selfishly hoping she forgot, too. No real question here, just a dear diary post lol.
Today is our five-year (dating) anniversary! (Yes, we still celebrate it even after marriage, lol. Any excuse for good food, am I right?) We're going out to a nice restaurant and I'm stoked. And tomorrow is three months since my BFP, which seems totally insane to me!
@jlemons-2 I have no idea what thread you posted your AMCsquared is Snooki theory in, but I got curious and the last time AMCsquared posted (and last time she was active, says TB) was July 6th and Snooki's account was created July 8th... It seems even more possible to me now! Haha.
@MJDsquared Congratulations!! Yummm you're right - anything to celebrate a with a good meal!
I am SOOO glad I went to the bathroom a few minutes ago. I actually looked at myself in the mirror and saw that I had ketchup from THREE HOURS AGO on my face. Immediately after I sat down our SVP came to talk to me about something. I would have been so embarrassed if I caught that when I got home from work. Phew.
@Tennis11785 It wasn't discussed much, she just said something like, "Anyone else think the troll is AMCsquared?" or something. But I'm sure someone must know what thread it was in!
