  • Hugs and FX, ladies!!

@mountain_girl We have 2 kiddos  <3 After them we unfortunately had 3 consecutive losses in a year. Our RE told us if we miscarry again, the last option left is IVF (I also currently have quite the medical debt from the last year). We absolutely cannot afford IVF. It would take from the babies we have at home. I also cannot continue to deal with the mental pain of loss, that also takes from my kids and my relationship with my husband. We would so very much love to be a family of 5, the kids really want another "baby," but this is the last try. We are extremely fortunate to have 2 children already and we know that's more than some may ever have, so we always keep that in mind when the going gets tough. If we didn't already have children, we may feel differently because and we could probably consider (and afford) the IVF route if it came down to that. I hope this doesn't sound selfish.  :/
  • @chasingroygbiv 3 losses in a year sounds heartbreaking, fx this one really is your rainbow! I also feel lucky to have an amazing 2 year old DD, but always imagined having more than one kid. I don't think it's selfish to want more...fx for all of us PGAL ladies!
  • @GG620 great update, so happy for you!!

  • 5w5 here and today the PGAL brain is settling in. My symptoms are less today's and I'm sure that's why, and I'm with worrying the symptoms I do have are from the progesterone and not real.
9 days till my ultrasound. Ugh. I hope I'm laid up exhausted and puking tomorriw :-/

  • @pghctwife, I'm sorry PGAL brain is getting to you today. I'm definitely feeling it over here too! I'm trying to enjoy this early, symptom-free part of the pregnancy, but that wait between BFP and first appointment is soooooo long and torturous!!!!!!
  • @pghctwife my nausea didn't really set in until week 6. I think the middle to end of week 6. Hugs. FX for more symptoms ASAP.

@pghctwife  I am the same way.  I def feel that the symptoms I do have like the bloating and occasional minor sore boobs are also from the progesterone.  I want some real symptoms!!!  PGAL brain is hard.  I cant help but think the worst.  FX for some symptoms for both of us

  • I got out of bed after that post to nausea, yay. Up till this point I was feeling pretty ok but now I feel like the switch was flipped. It's going to be a long 4-7weeks (I'll feel better after first tri testing I think)
