How far along are you? 6 weeks 6 days
Any appointments coming up? Ultrasound and first ob appt today at noon
How are you doing? (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here) I'm doing ok, just really want to see a reassuring ultrasound and I think I'll be fine.
Any appointments coming up? July 24 for my first appointment. I talked the nurse into letting me get labs done, which were yesterday, to check hcg and progesterone levels, to make sure everything looks good for how far along I am. I should get those results by Thursday afternoon.
How are you doing? (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here) I'm not doing so well. I know I shouldn't be, but I was checking my temp and I had a major drop (whole degree) a few days ago and it stayed low until yesterday, which is when it finally went up again. I've been POAS every day (Monday was my last day, I refuse to do it anymore because I'm going crazy), and the lines have been nice and dark. I can't shake the feeling that I've lost this baby, but I'm hoping that's just my PGAL brain talking as opposed to intuition. I don't think I'll be able to relax until my first u/s to determine viability. The only issue is I'm with a new OB and I have no idea when that will be. I may request an earlier one for peace of mind and to find out how far along I am. I'm really hoping they'll be willing to give me one at my first appointment. Edited because I typed 5w3d instead of 5w4d.
Oh, and I don't have any pregnancy symptoms even though I had them for about 2 solid weeks. I know that doesn't always mean anything, but to me that's a bad sign.
@JournoGrl23 hugs. Can you call your ob office and ask when your first ultrasound will be? That will give you something to 'work towards' or look forward to. I'm sorry you're feeling so discouraged. Fwiw it's still early for symptoms!
@heatherdubrow Good luck today!!! Can't wait to hear if it is one or two.
@JournoGrl23 I'm sorry you aren't doing well. This is hard AF. I agree to call your doctor to see if you can get in a littler earlier due to previous loss. Before my first loss, I was told by my OBs nurse to stop temping because it'll only make me crazy. I'm a chronic temper and have put the thermometer away just for my sanity. How far along are you? 4 weeks 4 days (Still barely preg)
Any appointments coming up? Had my 2nd beta draw today. I should get the results this afternoon. May or may not stalk the online portal.
How are you doing? (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here) I'm doing ok. I know it is really early, but I wish I had some symptoms. I feel a little better that my first beta was higher than my CP last month, but like everyone tells me it's the doubling that counts, not the original number.
***TW*** Me: 36 DH:35 Married: 7/10/2016 TTC#1 - May 2016 BFP 9/6/2016 - Missed MC 10/20/2016 BFP 5/5/2017 - CP IVF #1 - June 2017 - Transferred 1 fresh 4 AA embryo. 7/9 Beta #1 - 161 Adam Born on 3/18/18
@heatherdubrow and @SP128 That's a good idea. When the nurse calls with my results from my labs, if it's good news, then I'll ask her when I can expect my first ultrasound and if there's a way I can get one on the 24th. They don't usually do labs prior to the first appointment and she was already willing to let me get them since I do have a history of loss, so hopefully she'll understand this request as well.
I know it's really early for symptoms, but with DD I had them on 9dpo (the day I got my hard BFP) and they just got increasingly more prominent from there until I reached my second tri. I know this is a completely different pregnancy and I'm breastfeeding, so things could be very different this time around, but it's hard to quiet the doubt that creeps in.
appointments? Beta blood work at 5pm today, next one Friday early afternoon, actual appointment August 17th. I'll be 9 weeks. I could have gone at 8 weeks but I wanted to push it back a week when my DS starts school. I couldn't find anyone to watch him and don't want to tell my in-laws yet.
How are are you doing? Still obsessively POAS every day to watch progression. This one feels different from my loss so far. I was cramping every single day with my loss enough that I needed to take Tylenol. This one feels a lot like my DS so that is helping me stay hopeful right now. Mantra lately has been stay calm and it is out of your control. Ask me in a month when I still am waiting for my first appointment!

7 weeks today, or 6w6d. Still not 100% sure of my due date. I'm going to ask for clarification at my appt. next week even though 1 day won't really make a difference.
Any appointments coming up?
Second ultrasound next week at 8 weeks. The 6 week ultrasound went great and if this next ultrasound does as well I plan to go ahead and tell all of our friends and families.
How are you doing? (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here)
Mentally, pretty well. Physically, I feel like I've been hit by a truck. The actual puking started yesterday rather than just nausea, and I feel 100 times worse than I ever did with any of my losses or with my son. But I also feel awful complaining, like I'm being ungrateful for a healthy pregnancy, so I'm trying to just suck it up.
@hdaley I have probably 15 pee sticks in my bathroom drawer. I finally stopped peeing on them after my 2nd beta, when I spent the whole day freaking out because my test looked lighter, but my HCG had actually more than tripled. I had to talk myself off the ledge after that one and stop buying them.
@journogrl23 waiting on the first ultrasound is the worst. I hope time flies by and they schedule you quickly.
How far along are you? I should be 7w1d based on LMP but I'm probably more like 6w1d-6w3d (oh wait, I just did an EDD calculator and it's telling me 5w4d....who knows. Not even my RE knows what the hell happened.)
Any appointments coming up? I have my first ultrasound tomorrow at 1pm with my RE.
How are you doing? (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here) I was starting to feel better, but now the closer I get to my appointment, the more doubt I'm starting to have. I feel like I just keep telling myself it's not viable so that I don't get my hopes up for tomorrow. And my symptoms this go round have been completely different than my first 3 pregnancies (in that they are really mild) so that doesn't help. My cramping has pretty much subsided and now it's just my boobs that hurt and random waves of nausea a couple of times per day. But now I'm freaking out because someone above mentioned needing to take Tylenol for cramping with a loss pregnancy and I totally had to take Tylenol twice a couple of weeks ago because my cramping was so uncomfortable. I have an IVF consult with a new RE on Monday and I still plan to go just in case things don't turn out well with this pregnancy. ETA: Good luck @heatherdubrow!!! Hope you get some great news today!

How are you doing? (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here) Pretty good - just hate all the waiting that comes with PGAL and constantly wavering between being excited and doubting everything that's going on - which I think just weighs heavy on anyone who is in this position. So I just take it day by day and hope for the best.
Any appointments coming up? Not until next month now unless MFM sets something up before then which is definitely possible. They should be calling soon I would think as my doctor made the referral!
How are you doing? (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here) Other than super sick? I'm ok. The SCH really has me nervous, mostly because I didn't have them with my healthy/term pregnancies, but I had them with all 3 losses. She said it was small, but still. Trying to think positive. I haven't been this sick since being pregnant with our daughter so that's kind of got me hopeful right now. I'm now doing the TP check though, so that's annoying....
How far along are you? Playing with an EDD calculator gives me a 10 day window... so I'm somewhere between 6-7 weeks
Any appointments coming up? First appointment is 2 August
How are you doing? (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here) In a lot of ways, I'm doing better--my nausea has really ramped up the past couple of days which is reassuring. Mostly I am just reminding myself that today I am pregnant and trying to stay distracted. @heatherdubrow I am excited for your u/s today! FX for twins @JournoGrl23 I hope you can find some peace and that they will fit you in for an earlier appointment and u/s.
@SP128 I hope you have great Betas today. Keep us updated.
@hullabalou I definitely have mixed feelings about the MS and symptoms. On the one hand, I feel like the symptoms are reassuring, but on the other hand, I don't think anyone likes throwing up and feeling nauseous.
@tosh24 I hope everything goes well tomorrow. Symptoms can come and go and that's totally normal.
@missydallas I think you said it perfectly. The waiting and wondering is the hardest.
@chasingroygbiv I had a medium sized SCH with DS and everything turned out just fine. It disappeared between weeks 11 and 17. I know it's hard, but try not to worry. And I am constantly doing the TP check every trip to the bathroom after my MC last month.
@heatherdubrow and @tosh24, sending you ladies all sorts of positive vibes for your upcoming ultrasounds!
How far along are you? 6w 5d Any appointments coming up? I'm all done with blood draws. Next appointment is my ultrasound on July 18th. So 6 more tedious days!
How are you doing? (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here) I'm not really sure. I'm not terribly stressed about the ultrasound. But honestly, I think I only feel that way because I've convinced myself that there won't be a heartbeat. I hate being so negative about it. But I just don't have it in me to be hopeful. And I feel really guilty about it. Like I'm not giving this pregnancy the positivity it deserves. Maybe I'd feel different if I didn't have the beta scare early on (They were originally only doubling every 85 hours, but have since started doubling properly). Who knows. I'm having plenty of symptoms, but my PgaL brain has convinced me that I'm only having them because I'm on progesterone
I'm just really thankful that I should hopefully know one way or the other by Tuesday.

@JournoGrl23 totally feeling you on the m/s. This go it's unlike anything before. By now with both of my girls, I was puking daily. It's got me so stressed something isn't right. Hugs to you.
@tosh24 this is me. Inside my head. For a minute I'm thinking this lack of symptoms is a bad sign. Then suddenly today, cramping in my right side has me convinced it's ectopic. I hate PgAL brain. Hugs and I'll be thinking about you tomorrow.
Any appointments coming up? Tomorrow, first checkup with midwife. I'm a nervous wreck.
How are you doing? (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here) Not so hot. PgAL brain in full force. Pregnancy symptoms have been unlike anything I've experienced in my two successful pregnancies (particularly lack of morning sickness). New cramping and pain on my right side now has me worrying about possible ectopic. Stupid PgAL brain. No symptoms and I freak. Symptoms that may be harmless kick in, and I automatically take them to a bad place. I hate this.

@jesuisjamie I'm sorry PGAL brain is kicking in for you. If it makes you feel any better, I had really bad pain on my right side with my successful pregnancy to the point where I was convinced it was ectopic. Turns out it was an ovarian cyst that the OB said was supplying hormones to the pregnancy and was actually a good thing. It hurt but didn't hurt my pregnancy at all! I hope it's something simple like that for you.
@Chasingroygbiv nothing specific, my ectopic was in October, got the methotrexate shot in December, 4 weeks pregnant now and I'm just feeling anxious every time there is a pain or cramping at all ...hard not to worry that it's another ectopic ...
@mountain_girl Could be! Also agree that it could be round ligament pains. That can hurt pretty bad sometimes too. If you're concerned at all, you could call your doctor and see if they want to do an early u/s to make sure it's not ectopic.
I ended up in the ER with 2 out of my 4 pregnancies thinking I was having an ectopic because of the pain. Turned out to be the corpus luteum cyst both times. Hope that's all it is!

@jesuisjamie I hope your appt today goes we'll! Good luck!
@mylovelittlelove I have my second appt. next Wednesday. I had a ultrasound last week at 6w showing a baby with heart rate of 111! I am feeling pretty secure about things right now. I am a little nervous though because I'm on progesterone suppositories that are causing a lot of discharge and the past day or so some of the discharge is tinged brown, so I'm concerned it may be some brown spotting.

@tosh24 this is me. Inside my head. For a minute I'm thinking this lack of symptoms is a bad sign. Then suddenly today, cramping in my right side has me convinced it's ectopic. I hate PgAL brain. Hugs and I'll be thinking about you tomorrow.
@SP128 awesome news! Grow, baby, grow!
How far along are you? 5w2d
Any appointments coming up? Tomorrow, first checkup with midwife. I'm a nervous wreck.
How are you doing? (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here)
Not so hot.
