@mrsa2017 i know it sucks! better they find it now so it wont delay things. You may need it removed where it is. I did have one moved along with a polyp not big at all but the area for pregnancy would need to be clear and my OB took it out more as a caution to make sure all was good in the hood. I do have another that it way at the edge of the screen when doing my US through IVF and they say its not a problem. I always check as i know it can be. SOrry you're in so much pain hoping ur feeling better!

Holls214 at least ur in some kind of phase - i'm in the waiting for AF but will probably need meds to make it come. sorry about work on i'm on that train this week - Been on this computer working since 10am and this is my first break...just to look at something else

@holls214 I knew I remembered someone mentioning being postponed because of it... It's a good thing that I am just starting out because I would be more annoyed than I am already. Can you explain the hysteroscopy procedure and recovery time for me please?

My one concern is that I don't want something to be wrong with my uterus when we go see the RE next week. We have waited so long to get here and now we're almost here and then this happens. I haven't started IVF yet and already we are having "things" come up.

@Hopeful_mom sorry you are in a waiting phase too. I had to take progesterone to get my period to come, of course when you want it to come it doesn't but when you don't it's always there...
@mrsa2017 it was a fairly quick procedure... I was awake for it with medication. The day of and after I had bad cramps but I'm also a wuss. They just go in with a spinning tool and shave everything off. I took the pain meds and anxiety meds for the procedure to calm everything. Keep us posted!

mrsa2017 good luck with the appt. For me I was put out first time I was out ever so that was super scary!! Just in general when you haven't been around so many dr at once was scary but it was over rather quickly and i had slight cramping through the day and needed bed rest for a couple of days and then was back to myself in about a week. I know you're worried about starting IVF BUT its better they found this now so there wont be a delay. You think with your first cycle you are going to jump into things and you're not. The RE will want to see how your cycle is and do other tests so you wouldnt be starting anything till at least another month or so after your visit...at least thats how it was for me. good luck!

Hey ladies ... So my OB did another ultrasound and confirmed that Beavis and Butt-Head (cyst & fibroid) are still there. He said it SHOULD go after AF (talk about always late) and that they're fairly small.
He said he's sure the RE will run tests next week and if they find it there they'll probably want it removed (no doubt), so we'll see what happens. The pain has subsided (thank you God) but for some reason I feel little twinges here and there probably to remind me it's there lol. So hopefully next time I see him, after my appointment next week, he can make sure all is good in the hood (ha I love that) before we proceed with whatever.

Sooooo finally Hubs get to actually do something (yaaaaaaaaaay). We do our bw tomorrow and guess who has to put his boys in a cup kml.... Finally it's his turn, lol ,who knew I would be this excited for him to participate hehehehehe.

@mrsa2017 fingers crossed they just go away! I was always excited when my hubby had to do something too. They don't get to participate much especially in IVF. He did more with the IUI's and times sex. Which I'm sure was way more exciting lol.

@Holls214 I can feel AF is near but still haven't arrived as yet. I'm hoping she waits until right before we travel next Thursday for our Friday appointment so I can have the test done on CD 2 or 3. What are they testing for on that day again? Hopefully when we get back doc says it's gone.
This morning was the first "quickie" we had in awhile hahaha since we had to handle business and get it to the lab within 20 mins yikes!

@SP128 I definitely agree. I don't even remember much about independence day lol. The pain meds they gave me the night before had me in and out most of the day and we missed the beach

but man did I love those drugs

I was out in record time LOL

Woo-hoo for another good beta!

Can't wait to start my 28th year next Tuesday. It's definitely starting off quite eventful lol

@mrsa2017 I'm just catching back up, glad people stayed around this board at least for a little bit! Hoping you get to start your cycle very soon!!! I used to get little cysts and they would go away with AF or with birth control. Maybe you'll get a visit from her on your birthday!! haha

AFM - TW - had a meltdown over the weekend. Had spotting on Friday, that stopped, then had red blood. Called my husband told him it was probably over. Kept my US appt for this AM, and was pretty shocked when there was a bean in there with a heartbeat. The machine showed me as 2 days behind my actual date of 6 wk 1 day, and the heart rate was only 98, but my doctor didn't seem to be worried. Or he didn't want me to have another meltdown in his office.... We lost the last one at 6.5 ish weeks so I still feel kind of emotionless about this. Thats what I hate most about IVF, it steals all the innocence you should have about TTC and actually conceiving, and you can't enjoy any of it!!! Bless you girls for still being able to have quickies. Sex is a thing of the past for us at the moment, hopefully we'll get back in our groove in a few weeks

I think sex is a thing of the past for some of us too at least for me currently. Gotta plan a "date" with the hubby soon before FET.

@holls214 Thanks!!! haha my early 20s self would be very disappointed in me. I think we ended up being ok with the IVF option bc it meant no doctor ordered, high pressure, timed nooky. Yes, plan your date because I was told no sex for at least 2 weeks after transfer!! (i didn't mind....)

i was told we could resume relations the day after transfer. So odd how different res have different rules.

@KZ1126 YAY!!! so glad ur lil bean is doing ok! A day or two behind is no biggie lets hope ur lil fighter keeps on growing stronger everyday with you!! Hopefully the bleed was just a lil room being made...it does happen for some throughout the whole pregnancy which i'm sure could be insane!! IVF has taken all the romance out of sex for sure! And our work schedules dont help at all!

AFM: you want to laugh my US showed 2 follies growing, seriously, with no meds thats awesome body. Can i please not waste any extra eggs in this process! RE wants to make sure that they're producing estrogen so will go back over the weekend for more monitoring...then i'll do TI and get pregnant that way HA!!

Wouldn't that be a nice kick in the pants.

You very well may get KTFU with TI.
I have no idea what the grading system is for my clinic. RE said that it didn't get better than 4AA.... I think at day 5 I had 2 - 3BBs and 1 - 3BC. I don't know if they grade them again at day 6. I think it was day 6 when they were biopsied and frozen.
I'm impressed you remember when I get my results back!!!!

We were cleared to have fun a day after, yes, that's true. We have only done it twice since then. The crinone has made me kind of dry so it's uncomfortable. DH doesn't want to hurt me so he isn't pushing it. Plus, we both get pretty sleepy after dinner even if we had the best of intentions. This made trying without science kinda hard : )

Sooooooooo I called the lab to confirm that they sent DH results from his SA to my OB and she told me that they will do it today because they had to do some additional testing??????? I hope the results come back really really good, now I'm nervous dangit!

As for good numbers thats a tough question. You want good numbers and good movement and healthy swimmers!! BUT remember it only takes one perfect one to do the trick

One cycle my OH had 120million prewash and I think it was 90/80 million after with 99% motility and I still didn't get pregnant using that during an IUI. Then there were other cycles that he had 6 milion and it was 2.3 million after and motility was 80%, one batch was 45% motility which concerned me. I asked my RE if I should be concerned and she said that its fine and it can vary from month to month and I shouldn't worry. ANYWAY the month i did an IUI another couple had only 2million and got pregnant. Basically you have to hope he's not shooting blanks...which usually you can find a few good men

I wouldn't lose too much sleep on this one!

So Doc said DH results came back good. 70.5mill/ml so that's good but motility was 60%... He told him it was okay... I didn't like the sound of that and after 3 hours it just kept dropping. My H is so hard headed uuuggghhh. I told him about quitting this bad habit but he continues to do it and I believe it plays a major role with his minions and how they behave smt. Overall the results are good but I know they can be better.

He knows that I don't do anything half ass so he had better get serious about this. I told him if he jeopardizes this because he won't quit his shit then he'll get the wife from hell. I act more than I talk so he knows I'm not playing. When we get the pricing for this IVF I'm dropping it right on his lap. Men..... Can't live with um and can't start a family without their sperm

I love him but sometimes I want punch him in the face

@mrsa2017 my husband ended up taking fertilaide which helped with his sperm. The hard part is the sperm that comes out is like 30-60 days old I was told so it depends on what they were doing at that time. Those aren't bad numbers though.

@Holls214 I agree they are good. It's the motility that doc actually just gave an okay too honestly. I wish my H would quit this nasty habit tho smt.
We'll see what the RE says and hopefully he scares him out of it hahaha

@mrsa2017 those are good numbers, i was told over 40-45% for motility so u r in good shape! We're always going to worry. That one round where we had olympian swimmers and still no success. I was sad we wasted the sample on an iui and didn't do ivf for that cycle. Even in a few days it could be different its amazing! @holls214 is right its whats in thee system from 60-90 days ago...which is crazy but true!

mrsa2017 for the blood work?? For me i did bw and an US the day of my first visit. Luckily that was covered by Insurance so in the end I probably paid about $100 - $150. Regular RE visit is $300. BW can be very expensive WO insurance I think I remember seeing $1500...but usually people are covered for the BW if you have insurance...even the worst type

@mrsa2017 can you call your health insurance and ask so you don't get surprised ? Also for things like checking your thyroid , you may be able to get that done through your primary care. You can fib a little and list off a few symptoms of thyroid issues.

You can prob get vitamin d tested too through doc. This way it can be coded as medical instead of fertility.

I will call and check, thank you. I realize now that they don't do anything infertility related. I did the standard testing like HIV and my OB wrote infertility as the diagnosis and they did not cover it but they cover it when I have my annual so in order to not get sidelined again I will Def see my regular doctor for that script to take to the lab.

I know it's far fetched but did any of you paying OOP checked Barbados Fertility Clinic? I'm glad we're just starting off so we have time to make the best decision and pick the best clinic for us.

@Hopeful_mom hi lady (big waves). How are ya ? Wednesday is just a few days away. I'm feeling ok. No real symptoms. Just have some sore boobs sometimes, but I had it during stimming also. Also no appetite courtesy of stimming.

SP128 sore boobs are a solid sign for sure!! My acupuncturist always said as long as your boobs hurt you're good....which then freaked me out when they weren't so you'll always worry! Its the beginning so you're feeling exactly as you should be! Hows your energy level! Funny today i'm all about the snacks, i better get back on stemming ASAP

AFM: My 13 follie is now a 16.5 and especially since this is a natural cycle I have 2 now at 9...love all this extra follies just perking up

Anyhoo I will trigger later tonight and that will be that. My DH had an emergency with his mom so between that and my back I dont really ses TI happening but we shall see...at least I know i'm moving forward. Back next weekend to see if I'm ready for the patch to get the party started all over again....
