@vlagrl29 I think that's really smart to not take anything right now if there are no documented imbalances. Way too often people think, "hey, it's natural so I can just take it willy nilly and it won't hurt anything", but that's sooooo not true. Herbs especially can be just as potent as pharmaceuticals and can have a serious effect for either good or bad!
yeah even with the vitex and soy iso they say not to take it if your cycles and hormones are balanced @rosemaryandthyme - Just thinking about taking anything right now makes me nervous. I have no idea why all that makes me a hot mess lol.
@allowachick Depends. If I'm using the cheap dip ones, I'll test starting around day 9 or 10. When I use the expensive ones, I usually start day 12, cause I'm cheap and don't want to "waste" them. I think that if you haven't used them before they suggest starting them pretty early in your cycle so that you don't miss an early O.
@allowachick I just start on whatever day I begin having the wet quality CM, but I'd consider myself a lazy pee-er/charter. I do the least amount possible to still get the data I need, lol.
@allowachick I have about a 30 day cycle and have been starting at day 11. I usually O 15-17. I agree with @rosemaryandthyme this is also around when my CM changes.
Hey everyone! Probably won't be tracking my temps this month, but will be monitoring CM. Doctor said it was up to me whether or not to TTC this cycle, so I'm thinking to try, but to pull-back a little on the charting.
*TW* My doctor wanted to draw labs to confirm my chemical pregnancy and track my HCG back to 0. Got my lab results back from my Betas on 7/7. They're reading at <1. Huh? I know I had a BFP on 6/30, cause I used 3 different tests including a digital with a clear "pregnant" display. But now that the lab work came in I'm like "great, my doctor is going to think that I'm having phantom pregnancies." This whole TTC business is making me feel certifiably crazy.
@leahcimmichael if your cp was a super quick turnover, it's likely that by this point the hcg was already out of your system. I've had a few cps and my hcg level never went above 67. So you can have a quick turnaround down to 0 after that. At least you know the hcg is out of your system and you're free to try again!

@dpjennifer It was a super early loss, so I wouldn't be surprised if my betas never got very high. I just didn't know that they could drop back so quickly. Sort of makes my whole last week feel like a bad dream (or a good dream depending on how you look at it). Thanks for sharing your experience. Helps to know that this is normal!
Start charting with my cheap internet opk's on CD5-6 and then use the clear blue ones with the high/peak fertility days on CD9-10 (I usually ovulate on CD11. This is my first real cycle charting since my d&c in May though and things have been chaotic to say the least.
Don't know why but I was driving today and all the sudden started crying. I think I'm trying to come to terms with the fact that my DS maybe an only child. In the beginning of TTC for #2 I never thought about that but after 2 losses and now round 3 of IUI I'm starting to look at that as a possibility and it makes me sad. Tears just came out of no where. I ended up coming home from work. This sucks
@leahcimmichael No problem! Glad I could help. You're definitely 'normal' for having a quick turnaround with CP. Sometimes the levels just never get very high.

@weareturtles I'll join you now! I got a positive opk Tuesday night. We had pretty good timing luckily - after a crazy three flights and running for my last flight I JUST made it before they closed the door. BDed 2 times so far, but no luck this morning- we're in close quarters with too much family around to make it work.... spending my time looking for a window
I have no idea how I missed this thread. I've been pretty spacy this month, not sure if it is the hormone rollercoaster after my CP.
I am on CD13, and am getting antsy since I normally start seeing a progression of darkening lines on my cheapie OPKs by now. I suspect I will be having a delayed O, if any this month.
On that note, is anyone else a control freak like me, and detests the expensive tests? I don't need a condescending smiley face, I need more data, man! Line progression soothes my type A brain.
Man, can't wait to join you ladies on this thread. Still waiting for AF after d&e 6/20. Seeing BFP on here makes me so happy. Good luck! If anyone wants to share how long it took to get their AF after s similar process I'd so appreciate
DS born 04/22/15, Pregnant again 03/01/17 however loss due to PPROM at 20+6 weeks now TTC rainbow
*Sigh* CD 9 here and still bleeding a bit ("normal" pre-loss was 4-5 days, no spotting before or after). Being my first cycle post MC, I figured things would be a little wonky, but was still feeling hopeful for a quick regulation since I ovulated normally and AF started when expected and was normal until this pesky tail-end-brown-bleeding peskiness. Planning to take a "wait and see" approach now, but considering benching myself again this month if it just doesn't feel right when/if O comes. As much as I'd like to be pregnant again, I don't want to risk it too soon and then have another loss. Well, shoot
Sorry if I never replied to all of you. Mobile hates my guts sometimes. I have cheap tests so I did start on Monday, still nothing but family is in town so a later O this cycle works fine for me!
@leahcimmichael by the time I got labs for my 5wk loss my betas were back to 0 as well. Granted I was benched after that, but only because it was my second loss. Good luck!
@ngolimento I am addicted to data collecting with cheap tests too!
@rosemaryandthyme I totally understand staying on the bench till you feel emotionally and otherwise ready. That's pretty much what we did in March/April after we were technically cleared to try again. It was the end of a semester and a rugby season and we decided to wait till summer
I go here now. Spotting yesterday and af today. I've never had spotting before af until after my laparoscopy so it's kinda weird. Anyways, RE appointment is tomorrow and looking for some solutions.
@MooFish2364. Good luck today. I hope they come up with a plan for you. I'm waiting for mine to call today so we can come up with plan if this 3rd IUI didn't work
@leahcimmichael it's been a while since I e used that type of test but it seems like that happened to me the first cycle that I used it. But I finally did get a solid so hopefully you will soon too!
I usually only have 1 or 2 days of blinking before I get a solid, but this month it's being cray. My lady bits are just cruel and want to make me BD everyday since it's 100 degrees outside It's too darn hot for this tomfoolery!
Thanks @leahcimmichael. It's been pretty painful. Birth control messes with my periods after pregnancy so it's good to see it come back after stopping.
