The first two dozen options were of an actress with my name getting naked Here's the first one that wasn't of her (hopefully I'm doing this right):
*Edited b/c my grammar and gif skills need some work
CS/Q: Okay, my doctor told me at my annual appointment in April that she'd put in a blood work request that I need to do on CD3, but I can just come in any time in the next six months to do it. Fine. I called just a few minutes ago to confirm I can just stop by, and they said yes, but they said the blood work request says it's ONLY testing progesterone. Isn't CD3 a weird time to only test progesterone? Am I nuts? (@kiki75 ...didn't we just talk about how CD3 is to test more than that?)
@doxiemoxie212 We're a little out of my wheelhouse here but I just looked it up on UpToDate and the article said FSH and estradiol level were recommended on day 3. Progesterone at mid luteal phase.
Me: 35, Hubbie: 33 Married DH: 2013 DD: Dec 2015 BFP 8/14/17 --> Due 4/27/2018
@doxiemoxie212 Is he/she just a general OB? Maybe just a brain fart? But a very annoying one.
*TW* When I was pregnant I had horrible blood pressure issues so I was told to collect a 24 hour urine to rule out preeclampsia. When I went to drop it off at the office, the nurse laughed at me and told me I did it wrong and all they needed was a urine culture. I told her she was wrong, that doesn't rule out crap, and to page the doctor to clarify. She refused. So I left, went to the hospital, and had them page the OB, who got extremely pissed at the nurse and put the order in for me. *end TW*
So the TL;DR version: Be sure to advocate for yourself.
Me: 35, Hubbie: 33 Married DH: 2013 DD: Dec 2015 BFP 8/14/17 --> Due 4/27/2018
@fishsticks-n-custard yeah, she's just a general OB... I know doctors are just well educated humans but still UGH
ETA: nope, just called to confirm, and my doctor said "CD3 to test for progesterone" WTF?
ETA pt 2: they just called me back and asked if I'm tracking my ovulation. I said yes, and they said they want to also do 7dpo blood work now, which I might be on vacation for so.... great. Yay! sigh.
@fishsticks-n-custard they're only testing progesterone from the 5 phone calls I've had with them today. I mean, whatever, it probably IS related to progesterone given everything going on (mid-cycle spotting, menorrhagia, etc.), but I agree, it's annoying they won't test more. Whatever. Maybe they'll test the progesterone, realize there's an issue but aren't sure what it is, and then I can just keep coming back for blood work over and over and over and over and over because why not.
@kbamomma33 Thanks I emailed my OBGYN about doing a repeat, just waiting for her to place the order so we can schedule it. Yay for productive morning!!
@RVAmom315 FX the repeat SA shows some better results!
@Dilynne That is hilarious!
Enjoy your vacation @dragonette505!
@doxiemoxie Something definitely seems off. I don't have everything accessible to me right now, but I can tell you that my CD3 bloodwork tested estradiol, progesterone, FSH, and LH among other things. It doesn't really make sense for them to be only testing progesterone at that time. Month/Cycle: 13/15

However, I did manage to find this little guy way down in there.
Update: My doctor called me back... AGAIN... to say she changed the order to include FSH and estradiol in addition to progesterone, so. I guess now it's normal. But if I hadn't called FIVE TIMES, like, what? Today's blood draw would just have been entirely useless? The fack?

@zamora_spin Your sleep talk convo with YH is hilarious. For a porpoise?? Please!! Also, nice to see you posting in the dailies. *TW* I've just been lurking and lovetitting the TTCAL thread for the past couple of weeks because I've been feeling down about some family issues and kind of struggling with giving really good support about heavy stuff. @doxiemoxie212 I mean, I'm glad that your OB finally called you back and added more to your screening, but that whole situation seems void of them having their shit together. Anyhow, I happened to find this cool chart of all of the things they can check for during your cycle, the appropriate times to draw for those things, and the normal levels. Hopefully it's helpful. https://www.fertilityplus.com/faq/hormonelevels.html

My mobile gif isn't working so imagine something either kittens or maybe the raccoon one with cotton candy.

purplg8r Ubiquinol - My preference is the Life Extension, but it don't come in high doses (my doc wants me on 800 a day) I don't feel like paying the exorbitant price Fertility Neutraceuticals charges for their stuff (almost 200 bucks for a months worth ) I'm trying this brand called Healthy Origins (Amazon) because they come in 300mg gels and adding some Life Extensions to make up the difference.
becausescience Sorry your follie is taking so long... I'm a slow grower too Don't worry, it'll get there!
fishsticks-n-custard I'm crying about the baskets and twigs and berries. (more tmi) My DH has done the same but after our first scruff burns on my lady parts he has kindly kept it up lol
MrsMiller8588 I dunno, with that gif, I feel like you are going to be a productive superstar for sure!
SkilledSailor Hopefully your doc will have some answers about your AF
hedgepig So sorry you've been feeling low! Sending hugs....
kbamomma33 Yas! I love morning like that! I feel like a superhero when I pull it all together!
CD: 13
WAYDTGKU: Benched!
R/R: Meh...Well, I guess I can Rave that I'm going on vaca tomorrow for about a week! It'll be hard to be on the boards much because there will be tons of family activities going on (Wedding) but I'll try to stalk and love tit as much as possible!
CS/Q: double meh
@Dilynne Your chiropractor is hilarious
@RVAmom315 FX for a better outcome with repeat SA.
I'm sorry I didn't get to everyone yet...
Have been mostly just hanging out in TTCAL but got cleared by dr yesterday to ttc right away.
Month/Cycle: 1/1 AL
CD: 20
WAYDTGKU: PNV, Ubiquinol, green tea, pre-seed, OPK, BBT
R/R: Rant: Annoyed at a friend for behaving predictably, so really annoyed at myself for assuming she would not behave like herself. Rave: I talk in my sleep and last night I apparently was a real chatter box and I told MH "You are my favorite sea animal." He apparently asked "Did you say that for a porpoise?" and then I jabbered on about porpoises a bit. I love MH.
CS/Q: Not at the moment, although my cycle is being pretty weird.
@becausescience @fishsticks-n-custard : We lived with my ILs for a few months last year so doing it there was kinda unavoidable. I think there was only a time or two when we didn't wait for them to leave the house, although at least one time they came home early I felt sooo awkward about it even though I'm sure nobody expected us to abstain for the duration of our stay.
@Dilynne : LOL!! Good save
@dragonette505 : Have a great vacation!
-----
CD: 33
WAYDTGKU: BBT, OPKs, PNVs, CM, etc.
R/R: *I'm just gonna TW all of this* Rant: It was a rare rough morning for DS and I was on my own with DH out of town. Turns out it was a major case of hangry toddler. Rave: I was planning to work on Monday, but our daycare lady was hinting nicely that she wouldn't mind having the day off since all the other kiddos would be out of town. We have nowhere to go, but I'm happy to have an excuse to take an extra long weekend! *end TW*
CS/Q: This is my first cycle using OPKs, and I think this morning's test was starting to look more positive (less negative?)! I'll be adding in an extra midday test today and we'll see what happens. Hopefully O holds off long enough for my husband to get home tomorrow.
The first two dozen options were of an actress with my name getting naked Here's the first one that wasn't of her (hopefully I'm doing this right):

CD: 3
WAYDTGKU: bleeding
R/R: I have a lot of cleaning to do today. A LOT.
Married DH: 2013
DD: Dec 2015
BFP 8/14/17 --> Due 4/27/2018
Married DH: 2013

ETA: nope, just called to confirm, and my doctor said "CD3 to test for progesterone" WTF?
ETA pt 2: they just called me back and asked if I'm tracking my ovulation. I said yes, and they said they want to also do 7dpo blood work now, which I might be on vacation for so.... great. Yay! sigh.

CS/Q: Nothing to see. Have my CD12 scan on Sunday, so hopefully then I will have a better idea of when the real fun begins.
GTKY: search your first name in a gif search; post the funniest gif that comes up (FYI - typically the gif won't actually say your name... so, like, stranger danger, but keep it to a minimum y'all) I have a fairly unusual name that I also happen to share with an actress, so about 90% of the results were of her. However, I did manage to find this little guy way down in there.

@becausescience what does GDTPT stand for again? (I know the gist)
@fishsticks-n-custard ugh! I hate when I wake up before my alarm when there's not enough time to go back to sleep. It drives me crazy!
@MrsMiller8588 I hope you're able to leave work early!
@SkilledSailor I hope your dr appt goes well today!!

@dragonette505 Have a safe and fun trip!
Plus, that thread has been a lot busier as of late, which makes me sad for everyone. I'm so sorry for your loss. The first cycle after is hard. I'll be cheering you on. Big hugs. *end TW*
@nanilani04 Aw, your gif! That poor lady's boob... FX that O holds out and you are able to get the timing that you want.
@Pinky917 GL on Sunday. FX for you.
@kbamomma33 Totally bookmarking that chart!! Great resource!
(Also when I went in to get my blood drawn the nurse goes, "JUST progesterone right??" NOOOOOO! Sigh)
@purplg8r awesome job on the run and skipping the sugary drink! Running is my favorite thing to do...I had really good intentions to go for a run this morning. (I set out my clothes, set my alarm early, but I did not wake up! There is always tomorrow....)
@zamora_spin. Your rave made me laugh out loud. Love your dream talking & your H's response.
@Dilynne. Your new chiro sounds so personable and hilarious.
@Pinky917. Good luck with the scan on Sunday.

WaYDTGKU: charting, was going to start temping again, but we came to the beach and of course I left the bbt at home
R/R: at the beach, so I can't complain!
cS/Q: I haven't researched this topic yet, so please don't laugh! Does anyone use coconut oil as a lubricant? (We use it occasionally--warmed up--a massage oil). I was wondering whether it would be more sperm friendly than other lubricants...whether it could be used in place of pre-seed.
GtKY: I'm mobile, so I may have to come back to this challenge once I figure it out!
