Thanks ladies SO much for all of your thoughts today. You guissseeee I am literally floating on cloud 9! Our house inspection went perfectly! The house is not only meeting standards, it's so far above standards I don't even understand how we ever got this house for the price we did. Oh wait, that's God.
The inspector said, in his words, "This house is a home run." He walked through everything with us and kept pointing out extras the sellers paid to make the house look better, last longer, more convenient and more efficient. I am in AWE that we are going to live in this house! I want to move in today. I'm so freaking excited! There is surround sound built into the entire house (what!) Most of you know we've been looking for a house for a year (we started looking in June 2016 so literally a full year) and even though we've been TTC for longer, both of these huge things have been running parallel. Months of hopes up and let downs. Disappointments with no baby and losing out on house after house.
This house is perfect. We love it so much and I am seriously in tears over how God's worked it out for us and timed it with starting IUI (which I know, may or may not work, but I do have hope).
I can't believe I had my IUI this morning..it feels like a lifetime ago!
@TravelingCouple Congrats on the great inspection! It is such a relief to be confident in dropping the most money you've ever dropped on something that you feel like is the best choice you could make!

@JuneRoseRuby@TravelingCouple YAY!!!!! So excited for you both! What wonderful news!! (All the exclamation points!!!!!!!!!!)
I think I may have found a new IRL IF buddy. A mutual friend told me that a girl I went to high school with (who lives in my city) is going through fertility treatments (about to start IUI) at my same RE (the only one in the area). I mean obviously I wouldn't wish this on anyone, but I'm excited to be able to reach out to her. I'm enjoying talking with you ladies so much that I'm convinced that having IF buddies is the only way for any of us to get through this. So, I've sent her a Facebook message! Yay for a (hopefully) new friend!
@mispanda I didn't have that type of trigger, but I'd be confused too based on what you said. Are you triggering tonight? Because I'd want to double-check with the RE if it was me (and even if you are triggering tonight you might be able to get an answer through an answering service, if yours has one).
@TravelingCouple We moved last year into a new apartment and I looked at packing as an opportunity to purge all of the junk that I had held onto! It did really help enforce the feeling that we were getting a new start.

@TravelingCouple that's great your inspection went well! @vflux33 Oh no thankfully I'm not triggering tonight. I won't trigger until next week but my pharmacy got it in and I wanted to pick it up now before they put it back on the 'shelf' and it wasn't there when I needed it. I have anxiety so I'm super prepared in advanced usually. I'll call the RE office tomorrow but I was just curious what others had since I've been working my wimpy self up for the one and now there's two. @leekat14 I was starting to think maybe one was used as a booster! I guess I'll find out when I call!
@mispanda my Ovidrel was just one shot but I'm not sure what the dosage was.

WHO considers 4% morph normal, Kruger strict wants 14% morph to e normal. My old RE said low morph has no impact on clinical pregnancy rates, because if the sperm is funny looking but can still swim and the head is normal it can fertilize an egg.
Sorry I've been MIA this week. Bee cheering and trying to love title a bunch.
@TravelingCouple AMAZING G NEWS ABOUT THE HOUSE. Congrats! I do have a question about morphology in relation to @LadyMillil statement. I obviously understand how poor morph can cause decreased motility and decreased ability to penetrate the egg but my question is with one the egg is actually fertilized. Does poor morphology translate to increased possibility of genetic abnormalities?

Welp, bfn this morning. At least I have a consult with my RE on Monday to discuss options cause I still feel completely clueless about everything since the midwife gave no explanation of any of my results 6 months ago when we first started treatment and I haven't seen the RE since then. Ugh. I know DH wants to hide from me the day I test since I'm usually just feeling all the feels and I feel like then meds intensify it more. Now I get to work all day and listen to the problems of 12 different clients and put a smile on my face like everything is great. It is pretty depressing sometimes. I try to have a good boundary between not carrying the emotional weight of others who are really going through a lot and I usually have a good poker face but it is very hard sometimes. Anyhow I'll just end it here because I'm sure my venting can continue if I don't stop now
@beachbunnyxo123 I'm sorry for the BFN. *big hugs* I'm glad you have a consult on Monday. Hopefully you and your RE can figure something out and you'll feel better. I'm pretty bad at not carrying around other people's problems, so I can totally relate with you there.

None of us are doctors but I'm sure we would all be happy to give you a second opinion on your testing results since the doc isn't very accessible. No pressure, just if you're interested.
@adirat after asking the midwife 3 times okay so does it mean my diagnosis is unexplained she just shrugged at me. DH has super sperm. My AMH was 2.08 hsg was good everything good except fsh level was a 10.6 which should be under 10. So they explained that my body is trying to work harder to ovulate even though I've always ovulated. I'm not trying to put the horse before the carriage but I'm glad we're meeting with the RE to discuss treatment cause I want more answers since I want to know what's best for now and the future when TFAS I just don't really trust the clinic I really like the doctor but I don't like the midwife she didn't even look at the sperm sample for the IUI before she did the procedure to verify I had to ask to see it. Unethical. Granted they are a small clinic and only process one sample per hour for no mix ups. I also had to sign a consent form for the IUI (of course) but the shade was it said they are not responsible for paternity suits which I'm hoping they just meant for donors and same sex couples instead of whoopsie you got the wrong sperm suit but it didn't specify so that gave me weird vibes
So anyway I don't know how I'd feel about doing certain treatments with them but hoping to get a better feel on Monday

@JuneRoseRuby Whoop whoop!!!! So glad you guys can finally look at moving forward!
@beanship having IRL IF buddies can be great! I have one who will be doing IVF in August, and it's really nice to be able to commiserate through this whole IF battle
@beachbunnyxo123 Ugh no kidding. That's skeevy. I'm so glad that you'll see the doc to talk about next steps. You deserve answers and that midwife is not helping.
@adirat I know, of course I went in super paranoid to begin with about then showing me the sample and whatever else which they reassured me would happen and didn't. They did ask my name and DOB but when I asked the nurse what identifying info was on the sample she couldn't even tell me, like she has never looked at one before ever. Like wtf? The RE is super thorough which is worrisome that his midwife is not but it made me think gees how has no one else said something to the nurse before? Anyway, has anyone else had to sign a consent form like that before with the paternity clause? Wasn't sure if that was the norm of if they've had issues before.
@beachbunnyxo123 ugh that's frustrating. I agree with your plan to meet with an RE if you're not getting answers or feeling weird about the treatment you've received from your midwife (and yes, that all sounds very weird).
@beachbunnyxo123 Ugh, so sorry for the BFN Big hugs to you I'm really glad you have your appointment with the RE Monday. Hopefully you'll get a good plan in place
@beachbunnyxo123 Wow that's incredibly frustrating. I'd have been nervous, too, if the nurse looked like she'd never verified a sperm sample before. Yikes! I hope you'll get some good answers from your RE on Monday and will get a better feel for whether you should stay with that clinic or not. (Hopefully, unlike me, there is more than one within driving range. Although I got lucky, and my RE and his staff have been awesome so far.)
Quick question: AF is supposed to show today, so I was planning to get my CD3 BW done tomorrow (lab isn't open weekends). Buuuuuuuuuut AF hasn't shown up yet, so tomorrow may be CD1.
Since CD3 probably won't be an option, would it be better to have my CD3 BW done on CD1 or CD4?
And, don't worry, I'm definitely not KU. Also, I've asked my RE nurse and she said to go in for BW whenever I want. As you can tell she's super duper helpful.
@beachbunnyxo123 so sorry about the BFN.. at least your RE appt is Monday. For me, switching from my OB to RE was a huge relief and I felt like I was able to get the education/answers I was looking for. Also, it sounds like we might be in a similar profession so I TOTALLY get that when you're having bad days, you can't just run and hide and it can be very emotionally draining.
@TravelingCouple CONGRATS! Your IUI on the same day inspection on your dream house went that well? I would say you have finally found yourself in a pretty freakin' awesome situation!
@JuneRoseRuby ..and on the 139847529837th day, God said: "Let there be sperm!" Congrats )
Thanks for the support ladies. You all are the best. I'm so thankful I found this group don't know how I'd be dealing with all of you! Just how nice it is to ask questions and get more clarification here has always been soon helpful!
@lund my RE told me cd 3 BW can be done on cd 2,3,4 as most labs aren't open on weekends. I did my cd 3 BW on cd 4 for the same reason. GL!!
@juneroseruby I am so happy for your results and your ability to move forward now!! @travelingcouple Horrayyy! @beachbunnyxo123 Ugh sorry for that BFN. I am sure you will feel better with a plan. I always did.
