@beachbunnyxo123 I'm sorry you're feeling low about everything. Before I turned 34 last month I just about lost it, but ended up being OK the day of despite those looming feelings. I hope you also find a way to celebrate and enjoy it despite the seemingly endless TTC battle.
@beachbunnyxo123 I love acupuncture. She always asks what part of my cycle I'm in so she can tailor the treatments. For what it's worth my lining 2 cycles ago was awesome, last month it was very thin....the only things other than them upping my meds that were different was no acupuncture, no RRL tea and no POM juice. Not sure if it had to do with one or all of them.
@saralee797-2@antoto I'll find out more tomorrow but I have a whole basket of meds for this portion. I did have any testing done so I'm so nervous about embryo quality.
@BusinessWife We'll be excited for you so you can feel all the other feels that come with treatment. This stuff is exhausting. Waiting is exhausting. I can totally understand why you feel the way you do.
@lund I usually don't get my period and I have spotting pretty frequently at random times throughout the month. I have spotted a little in medicated cycles, but not nearly as much as this time. That's good your RE is fine with the 8 DPO test. I'll have my fingers crossed that everything looks good!

@beachbunnyxo123 Sorry you are having a rough time right now. Those milestone dates are always hard, and I know most of us have them - thinking that we'll be pregnant by certain events. It stings, and you have a right to debbie down. Hugs to you. I've done some acupuncture - mostly I feel like it helps with stress. I didn't do acupunture this cycle and I've been spotting since 6 or 7 DPO, so maybe that's related, but besides that, I really can't tell if it's had an effect on my actual fertility. I recommend it either way though for the stress relief. It feels like a treat, and anyone who is posting on this board needs all the treats they can get!

Hey ladies sorry I have been MIA over the past few weeks. Had vacation surrounded by a crazy work schedule and my mom visiting. What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?) DH is on clomid. We have a f/u with the urologist on Thursday and I will likely meet with the RE next week to order his repeat SA and make a plan. I also want to discuss the possibility of a trial of IUI before IVF since H's last count was 9 mil and I've heard the cut off is 10 mil.
How are things going? Eh, stuck on auto pilot. Another reason I don't post much is because I feel like nothing is happening so I have nothing to update about.

Does anyone's RE use a time lapse incubator? I had my baseline appt this morning and one of doctors approached me because they are trying to switch from the old standard of care incubators to these new time lapse incubators. They need to have a certain number of people sign up and sign consents in order for the new incubators to become the standard of care. Apparently there is a Stanford study on them which I will research today but I am wondering if anyone else already uses them? They only hold 6 patients at a time (v. 40) and you don't have to remove the embryos in order to view them and track progress. It is probably more useful post ER but I still see some value in not disturbing the environment to monitor. Thoughts/opinions welcome.

AFM I had my CD 12 follie check today. 2 follies measuring 15mm. This is my first IUI and I am happy there are 2, but was hoping to see a bit more. I go in Friday for another u/s. Trying to be positive though and be all 'it only takes one'. For my gal pals who have done IUI, what CD did you trigger on? It is typical for them to be this size on CD 12? Sorry a still a noob with it ha
@GG620 Remember that they start doing follicle checks early to make sure they catch them in time. It's not a matter of they should be ready on CD 12. Two follicles is great. I believe they grow 1-2 mm/day so you should be good come Friday. Maybe you can get early appointments Saturday and just join your friends a little late.

@GG620 I wouldn't worry about having 15 mm at CD 11. At CD 11 my largest one was 13, and by CD 13 at my recheck I had an 18 mm and then triggered the next day (so assuming it got up to about 20-21 mm by O time). CD 11 is still early to have a >17 mm follicle because that would mean you would be ready to O on CD 12, which is early.
@kiki75@kiwi2628 thanks ladies! That def helps me understand better. My RE wasn't there, only the ultrasound technician so all my questions came geared at you guys haha.

AFM: BFN. I completely expected that because I can tell my body has really been trying to start my period for the past several days. BFN sucks, but I pretty much knew it was coming so im kind of just glad to stop progesterone and let the period flood gates open at this point. I am now officially on a break until sometime in August (probably late AUgust, but we'll see) to give myself some time to get back in the right mindset and give my body a break after 7 straight months of treatment. I'm going to get fit, meditate, travel, eat right (but drink lots of wine), spend lots of time with friends doing all the things I couldn't if I were pregnant, and H and I are going to decide if we will pursue IVF or adoption if our one last covered medicated IUI cycle doesn't work when we come back. I'm an-O always so we won't be trying. I'll still be hanging out here, rooting for you guys, but I hope you are all outta here by the time I start treatment again!

AFM Appointment went great! I start zpak, estrace and Prednisone and go back next Wednesday. Nurse said transfer would likely happen around July 6-8....she gave me suggestions of hcg wash, low dose naltrexone and prograf if I wanted to add anything to assist with this cycle. She said there's no need to feel like we have to do any of these but since I asked she gave me the info. Has anyone done any of this? PIO and endometrin start after next week's appointment.
Edit to add based on eqq quality they recommend transferring 1!!!

@leekat14 How did your appt go?
AFM: BFN. I completely expected that because I can tell my body has really been trying to start my period for the past several days. BFN sucks, but I pretty much knew it was coming so im kind of just glad to stop progesterone and let the period flood gates open at this point. I am now officially on a break until sometime in August (probably late AUgust, but we'll see) to give myself some time to get back in the right mindset and give my body a break after 7 straight months of treatment. I'm going to get fit, meditate, travel, eat right (but drink lots of wine), spend lots of time with friends doing all the things I couldn't if I were pregnant, and H and I are going to decide if we will pursue IVF or adoption if our one last covered medicated IUI cycle doesn't work when we come back. I'm an-O always so we won't be trying. I'll still be hanging out here, rooting for you guys, but I hope you are all outta here by the time I start treatment again!
beachbunnyxo123 I know what you mean about birthday plans. I too thought I'd be in a totally different place. happily home and nesting. It sucks. I still don't have plans and I think that's ok too. Do what helps you get through the day.

safire3 I know how you feel about not having much to post... I'm totally benched so basically sitting around and twiddling my thumbs. Honestly if I didn't see SOMEONE out here having progress or good news I'd probably be at the towel throwing stage. It just helps to keep me hopeful to see y'alls posts.
saralee797-2 Duuude! Please let me know if you decide to use the embryoscope! My new doc threw it in as a suggestion (mainly for the higher quality environment of not needing to disturb them) but she is all shrugs as to whether it does more than provide a constant environment. I'm on the fence.. it costs an extra 600 bucks at my place so its not free, but I'm still intrigued.

Appointment went great! I start zpak, estrace and Prednisone and go back next Wednesday. Nurse said transfer would likely happen around July 6-8....she gave me suggestions of hcg wash, low dose naltrexone and prograf if I wanted to add anything to assist with this cycle. She said there's no need to feel like we have to do any of these but since I asked she gave me the info. Has anyone done any of this? PIO and endometrin start after next week's appointment.
Edit to add based on eqq quality they recommend transferring 1!!!
