@JuneRoseRuby. Ugh Im so sorry about that added xoncern. We will be doing PGS too (not pgd I dont think?) just to be on the safe side, but we still dont have a definitive cause??? Can you believe it??? Gahh
@BusinessWife yeah the difference between the PGS is a screener and the PGD is actually diagnosing. So most people just do the PGS, PGD is just more. We don't have a cause for his MFI either. The translocation was just something completely separate! when is YH having his TESE again?

Good Lord arent we lucky!!?? @JuneRoseRuby. That was like mine... he had crappy bilateral hernia repairs? Not the cause. One side undecended? Not the cause. Like ffs. As far as we can tell he's missing tubes, also, not due to a CF mutation. And he also has elevated FSH on the clomid. So who knows.
Now the pgs/pgd thing has me so confused bc I always thought exactly what you said. But whenever I say "PGS" to my nurse, she just corrects me and says PGD. But what "D" are we looking for exactly if all the genetic tests came back normal? <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/5020794/uploads/editor/07/uszist6s4wha.gif" alt="">
@BusinessWife I am preaching this beat infertility podcast, but they do have one that is PGS vs PGD that explained it nicely. But yeah, confusing-I would definitely be asking the RE next time you go what it is they are looking for

@antoto YAYYYY for transfer date! Thats SO EXCITING!
@vflux33 I am glad your IUi went well! I had cramping for about 36 hours after the last transfer, so hopefully yours will subside soon
@50Wife omg my heart ached when I read what you said. I remember crying about the same thing- why do we have to pay so much for something everyone gets for free? Why can't this be easy? Why can't this be the romantic coupling of love? Why is sex managed now? It sucks. I am glad you are feeling better about it all. I found in the testing stage I was much more depressed about it all then now in the treatment stage. Hugs
@madspunk I'm so sorry for the BFN but I'm glad you have a break planned. It sounds like you'll get to do a lot of fun stuff and be able to get your mind off of all of this which is definitely a good idea!
@antoto ahhh so excited that you have a transfer date!!
@LeilaK9288 welcome! I'm so sorry that you're here but like others have said, this is a great group to be in even though we all wish we didn't have to be here. I'm sorry for your H's diagnosis but I hope meeting with the urologist will give you guys some answers and a plan to move forward.
@50Wife I'm glad you decided to post! I get your feelings 100%, especially when you see friends/family getting KU so easily and now here we are taking medications, doing procedures, and spending so much money just to do the same thing. @madspunk Good luck for your time away. You sound like you're at peace with some time spent focusing on other things. I hope we are all gone when you get back, but know that you'll be welcomed back with open arms when you're ready.
@leila9288 you will find the best women here who are able to offer support and advice. I agree with Kiki to get in and start testing as soon as you can.
@vflux33 good to hear the iui went well! For some reason whenever I go to type your name, my phone autocorrects your name to blizzard?? Strange..
@KristoKekerooni I loved your response to Leila. This truly is an amazing group and the support here is unreal.
@beachbunnyxo123 I'm sorry things are so tough right now. I know that two year mark really stung for me. I can imagine that compiling that with the stress of a milestone birthday has to be a lot. I think it's fair that you're being a debbie downer- hell, we can be ones together. Hugs.
@tamalahoops A "fuck IF" trip sounds like everything right now. I fully support it and hope when the time comes that it's amazing for you.
@TravelingCouple I hope your offer gets accepted! Keep us posted. Sometimes homes just haven't sold because an initial offer fell through or something equally innocent. It's good that you have your eyes peeled for red flags but I hope it ends up being nothing so that you can finally get your perfect home!
@safire3 I sometimes feel the same way about not having enough going on here to make a full post, but still want to jump into what's going on with everyone else so I do anyways. I hope that feeling of autopilot ends soon for you with all of your upcoming plans for testing/treatment.

@LeilaK9288 Welcome. I'm sorry that you find yourself here and that you're having to navigate that Dx. I think you'll find this thread to be a wealth of knowledge for you however. And I hope your stay is as short as possible, meant in the best way of course.
@vflux33 I'm so happy to hear the IUI went smoothly! I know I'm late but I die every time I read cum buckets. I've wondered about the consent for IUI because I've read things like that before and then also read that many women don't bring their H. It never occurred to me that it's probably a state thing. @antoto That's only 3 weeks away! It'll be here before you know it. I'm so excited and hopefully you can keep busy in the mean time. I'd be on pins and needles waiting!
@50Wife I'm sorry that you've been riding the struggle bus with the dailies. I know that need for a mental hiatus from the boards well. And of course, I'm sorry that you find yourself in this thread. @LeilaK9288, welcome. I don't have much to add that the other ladies haven't mentioned already. I just wanted to say sorry that you find yourself here, but welcome. H and I are dealing with the same issue as @KristoKekerooni with the oligoasthenoteratozoospermia diagnosis. Which, as I think she said, essentially means that he has some sperm (though the oligo means low count) they just have all sorts of issues. I have a procrastinator on my hands, so we haven't made it to treatment yet.
@KristoKekerooni, I do not necessarily second @BusinessWife's hobby suggestion....only because yarn can be stupid expensive! However, both knitting and crochet are fantastic hobbies, lol.
I still have a whole page+ to catch up on, but this is where I'm starting.
Edit: my MFI issue description, because it wasn't accurate.
Edit #2: I second what @JuneRoseRuby said about the link. Same issue.
@Redpuma119@JuneRoseRuby@dragonette505 Did you ladies get in? I sent you all invites earlier today. I think the invite gets sent to your Inbox so if you're mobile you might not see the notification. Check your inbox on mobile if you're not in yet.
I sent invites to everyone who has posted in this weeks thread since Monday. If you don't see it in your Inbox lmk!

@JuneRoseRuby Oh no! This system is wonky as hell. I tried to re-invite you just now and says you're already "an applicant" and you are listed on the list of other invited ppl who haven't accepted yet...
In case you don't know why I'm tagging you, this is to an invitation to a new group for those currently participating in this IF thread, and those who have graduated from it. So we can all stay in touch throughout our journeys, testing, treatment, pregnancy and beyond. I want to note: if you have no interested in joining, please let me know and I will remove you from the invite list. Absolutely no hard feelings at all. If you don't see an invite, try searching for the group "IF Warriors" and request to join.
@leekat14 Yeah try on a laptop and see if it works. I wanted to take the group elsewhere simply for all the issues TB brings, but other websites I looked into all cost money
@TravelingCouple I don't see an invite anywhere and when I try to join it I get an error box that says "Duplicate entry" and a bunch of computer code. I guess it's not letting me join since I'm technically already invited? Maybe the invites take awhile to go through?
ETA: I tried it both on mobile and desktop

@saralee797-2 Just deleted and resent an invite to you too--anything???
You guys just to reiterate this is really random and happening to some people but not others with no clear reason why. I'm so sorry if you didn't get one! @TravelingCouple made a point to invite all of you and this makes no sense.
@leekat14 July 6-8 is so close! That's awesome all the embabies look good!!!
@leilak9288 So sorry you find yourself here. Lots of good thoughts being sent your way! I second what other have said - I would set up an appointment with the urologist sooner rather than later. MH had to go to a urologist and it took him awhile to get in.
Thanks, @antoto! I'm sure I will be leaning on you guys a lot as I look more into IVF within the next several weeks. 3 weeks until possible transfer - woo-hoo!
@JuneRoseRuby I listened to the Beat Infertility podcast on taking a break this morning! I saw your other post about them. I also listened to one on PCOS on the way home. So far, I like them. And all of the things she was saying about reasons to take a break really resonate with me right now, and I'm positive that this is the step I need to take.
@50Wife Welcome. :-) FX the rest of your testing goes well. I'm glad you are starting to get some answers on why you are not KTFU and that you are feeling good about the RE you're working with. I totally hear you on being frustrated about how IF makes getting KU suddenly so expensive and complicated. It's completely not fair. I cried a lot when I found out how much my first round of medications were.
@TravelingCouple Thanks so much for setting up the group! I also tried clicking the link and got the duplicate error message. @vflux33 Maybe you could try uninviting and then reinviting me when you get a chance?

@LeilaK9288 welcome and sorry you find yourself here. You've already gotten lots of good info and I know it is a lot to take in at first. My H also had 0 sperm count on hist first SA. He had a repeat a few weeks later and had 9 mil. That was months ago and we still are not 100% sure of the cause but for now we are working with a presumed bad hernia repair as an infant on one side and congenital absence or atresia (did not develop properly) of the vas deferents on the other side. We are working with a urologist who specializes in infertility. I second finding one and scheduling an appointment. Our urologist also said that some of our initial testing may have been covered by insurance if it was ordered from his office instead of the RE's office so that's something to think about if your insurance does not cover infertility. My H is also on clomid and theralogix supplements. As others have said there are options and the first steps will be trying to determine the cause. Good luck to you and your H and I hope your stay here is short.
@madspunk Just did--try now! It worked for some people to do that so hopefully will work for you too.
And if anyone else has this probably please tag or PM myself or one of the other moderators. If the invite is just sitting there we don't know if you've seen it so we won't know to uninvite/reinvite unless you tell us you didn't receive it.

Ugh you guys. I just had my scan and blood work. Scan showed a measly ONE follicle measuring a whopping 10mm. They need 18 before I can trigger. Is this a joke? I feel like I'm not responding to anything. The Letrozole alone did nothing and now even adding in a GD injectible is still doing nothing. I'm on CD 12 so I know there's still time... But I normally ovulate later (CD 18-23) so it's not even helping me O earlier. Why am I injecting myself with all this shit for nothing? I'm so frustrated right now I could cry.
And no news on the house yet either. I just need some effing good news on something.

Same issue.
I sent invites to everyone who has posted in this weeks thread since Monday. If you don't see it in your Inbox lmk!

You guys just to reiterate this is really random and happening to some people but not others with no clear reason why. I'm so sorry if you didn't get one! @TravelingCouple made a point to invite all of you and this makes no sense.
Thanks everyone for the good thoughts and hugs.

@madspunk Just did--try now! It worked for some people to do that so hopefully will work for you too.
And if anyone else has this probably please tag or PM myself or one of the other moderators. If the invite is just sitting there we don't know if you've seen it so we won't know to uninvite/reinvite unless you tell us you didn't receive it.
@dragonette505 I'm so sorry for your loss.
I'm turning 42 a week from Saturday so I'm a full-on card-carrying member of the Golden Girls but now that we are moving on to DE IVF my age doesn't matter as much anymore. #worstsilverliningever
