Since it was mentioned in another thread, yet no one started a thread for it, feel free to post the coming home outfit you selected for your LO.

Question- I see the first two posts involve pants and hats. I was thinking, August baby = hot (aside from AC) so the romper would suffice. Am I wrong? I was thinking of putting in a light muslin blanket too just in case.
@bwing10 that shirt is so appropriate - I love those sets!
@DeansGirl14 I think you prob need the hat for in AC, maybe? A gauze blanket is a good idea. I am agonizing over short sleeves or long sleeves. Also, I feel like a lot of the cute sets might need onesies underneath them to protect the umbilical cord, but two layers might be too hot? I am definitely over thinking this!

I'm thinking this one but I'll let DH pick since he hadn't been able to pick much
And here is DS2 in his with his big bro before we left the hospital.
Lastly, my firstborn (Noah) in his (can't believe this was almost 11 years ago)!
I'm still looking for a good take-home outfit, though.
1 infant loss
8/17: Our daughter was born
8/18: Our daughter kicked open heart surgery ass
2/19: We lost our son to Prader-Willi/Paradoxical Vocal Cord/ Noonans at 6wks old
4/26/2020: EDD for baby #3!!!
we plan on using this unless someone gifts us something better/cuter. I like that it can be converter from footed jammies into a sleeper gown. The sleeves fold down into mittens. It's from the boys section at target but girls can wear dinosaurs too! I may buy a green headband to match in case we have a girl.
memory box so I took a picture. I decided on this little guys outfit because I thought it looked similar to the style of his sister's. If it's too hot I'll leave the hat and socks off.
I will bring several outfits this time and choose at the hospital.
Someone was asking about temp. Babies don't regulate their body temp for a while after birth so you'll want something slightly warmer than what you would wear even in summer. Basically what a previous poster said above.
Edit: fixed the picture
I thought this was too cute. Hopefully it makes sense (zero days...months...years old...get it?)
I always bring my babies home in hats but just because I think it's be cute.

We got these (with our twins' names of course). I'm in love with them.
5.5.16 | 8.14.17 | 1.30.19
He was born in May, which is warm, but with everything having air, we opted to have a layers.
I'll post our LO outfit when it arrives!
(Edited to fix pic)
DD2 was 6lb2oz and only 18 inches (Jan '15) so she was swimming in newborn sizes and DH ran out for some preemie clothes. We were so excited to get home we did't actually get a carseat shot, but here we were waiting to be released (her poor, traumatized face).
I love Carter's for little girls. I hope to post some good finds for this little guy soon! All of these baby pics are getting getting me so excited.
