Welp, officially a problem child now. Miles is falling off his weight chart, drastically, and it's starting to affect his length chart too. In good news, he's happy, meeting milestones, and his head is still large. Ugh this is just too weird. Ped suggested, but didn't require, a formula supplement once a day, just to see. We go back in 2 weeks to do another weight check
2 week weight check and Miles gained 7 ounces. Happy dance!! That puts him nicely on the 3% weight chart. Oh buddy. But I don't have to change anything additionally, so I'm glad. Another weight check in a month

Sam has a virus that caused an ear infection, pink eye and diarrhea which led to a nasty diaper rash but while we were at the doctor he was weighed and measured.
Birth: 22 inches, 9lb 9 oz
7 months: 30.25 inches 20lb 5 oz.
Is he ever going to slow down? In the month since his 6 month appt he grew a whole inch.
Ethan weighed 23 pounds (he was almost 22 at his 6 month apt) and is 30 inches long!? So hopefully that means he will be tall like mommy
he didnt have to get any shots, but they did put fluoride on his 4 teeth and he had to get blood drawn (traumatic!?) to check for anemia (Doc said this is standard testing at this age).
9 month appt today 18lbs 4 oz and 29.5inches tall. She's having a rough time had a cold and fever over 101 and then got an ear infection and sinus swelling in the face. Just as she got over that she woke up 2 days ago covered in blister rash all over her arms and legs and found out at her appt today it's hands foot and mouth disease that's super contagious and we have no clue how she got it since she doesn't go to day care. Dr said to wait it out the rash will go away in about a week and shouldn't hurt but she got bad diaper rash. I feel so bad but I'm glad nothing but the diaper rash is bothersome.first pic is her sinus swelling around her eye and the second is today at nap to see all the red spots on her arm.

A friend of mine caught that from her baby and they both had it baaaad. Like in her ladybits bad. They both made it through but man did it make me super paranoid about it.

Charlotte had her appointment earlier this month. weight 16.5 lbs length 27.5
@Tawny87 I'm surprised he's in the 2nd percentile, Charlotte is 20 percentile for weight and 40 percentile for height.
@alcermack I hope your LO gets to feeling better soon and I hope you don't catch it. We've been lucky our boys never got hand foot and mouth, finger crossed Charlotte never gets it.

I wonder if they do different charts per gender???

My Mom gave me the baby book she used when she was pregnant my brother and then me. The growth charts are different based on gender. That said, this book is from the 80sso gotta take that for what it's worth.
We had our 9m checkup last week. Jack is 24.5 pounds and I can't remember how tall he was.. But both his weight and height were off the charts H and I are both very tall and were HUGE babies. He comes by it honestly.
Lily is doing much better the hand foot and mouth is completely gone and daddy and I didn't get it. She's still not eating as well as she did before all the sickness but I never thought I would be excited about peanut butter texture poop. Her antibiotics gave her the worst diarrhea and she was blowing out every outfit twice a day. She's all smiles and we are so glad she's getting back to normal.
Madelyn had her 10m appt today - she's 30.5" and 18lbs 9oz.
The dr is still underwhelmed by her weight (he thinks she should weigh more given her length) but she's drinking 30oz/day and eating 3 meals so I'm thinking she's just always going to be lanky.
He's finally catching up to average after so many months of being in the 20th percentile or lower. It's probably all the puffs and snacks he's fed (he loves them).
Cameron had his yr check today. Even though he was in the 1st percentile for weight the dr said he looked nice and healthy. When we noticed he was having issues growing we decided 18lbs was our goal for him at a yr.
LO had his yearly check-up this past Monday. Percentile is 20% which is not too too bad. He shot up another half inch, which is a bit fascinating since growth is supposed to slow down, but his height is shooting up like a weed.
Birth weight: 8lbs 4 oz Birth Length: 22 inches Current Weight: 20lbs Length: 30.5 inches
Madelyn is 32" and 20lbs 10oz. Her weight/height combination puts her in the 12th percentile but she's super tall so the dr isn't concerned about her weight anymore. She eats anything that's not nailed down.

YOu know, that's why I think my son's percentile is low. He's really tall and skinny and I remember the GI specialist said that the proportion was off. We're not worried though - he seems healthy but he's always hungry lol. He's likely going to be like my husband - very tall and thin.

My husband and I are both tall and thin (I'm 5'9" and he's 6'4"), and so is my son, so we're not super surprised that Madelyn is following this trajectory also. If you look at her weight by itself, it's the 50th percentile or something based on age. It's just when you look at it in relation to her height that it's super low, but she eats really well, so I feel like this is just how it's always going to be.

I don't think the percentiles matter as a height/weight comparison. It's more important for them to stick around the same percentile and basically follow the curve.

She said he is in the 90percentile for height, weight and head circumference which is great cause he was 90 percentile when he was born but then dropped to 75 (which was no big deal) for a while. She was really happy to see a growth spurt and hear how well he's been doing.
