@shortstack930 - One morning after work, I stopped by the grocery store to grab a few things and locked my keys and phone in the car. I was so angry at myself and the universe. FX your dad gets there soon!!

@shortstack930 That sucks! I'm sorry. I can't change tires. I'm one of those people who is perpetually worried I'd lose a hand in the process, especially with a bigger car. Hope you're finally getting sleep right now!

@shortstack930, sorry, that really sucks. @pebbledam, that reminds me of a story of my mom's. She also works the night shift, and as she was heading down the elevator to go home, she dropped her keys down that little gap between the floor and the elevator down into the shaft. I'm so paranoid I'll do something like that now. Sewer grates freak me out now too.

@icecubeinthedesert - I am definitely the type of person that would drop my keys in the elevator gap. Good thing I don't frequent elevators.

@icecubeinthedesert @pebbledam i dropped my cell phone down the elevator gap last year - in a city I did not live in, on the day I was leaving.

@doxiemoxie212 I once dropped my iPhone in a toilet at a rest stop near the Mexican border on the middle of a road trip 3 days before Christmas.

@icecubeinthedesert @doxiemoxie212 oh man that sucks!!! Another reason for me to hate elevators.

Thank you everyone! Thank goodness my dad and brother got there quick and they were able to fill the tire with enough air to get me home. My dad and DH went to replace the tire while I was sleeping and my dad wouldn't let DH pay for the tire because he said he wants to help us out. So DH treated my dad to coffee and when I woke up there was a corn muffin and an iced coffee waiting for me because DH knew what a bad day I had. Im so grateful for them!!
