@pawcall You know I think that's cute! No more carriers for me though.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
I can't figure out how to get the Amazon box! I have a baby registry set up with them and it's still asking to charge me $35. I even looked at payment methods to see if there was a credit or something but there's not. What am I doing wrong?
@dragonfly87-2 You have to either buy yourself or have someone else buy $10 worth off your registry. I put some wipes on our registry and then bought them. Apparently once they ship Amazon will send me an email and I can then claim the free box and look in my payment methods for a credit. We'll see if that works.
@duchessofcambridge@dragonfly87-2 There is a drop down menu at the top of your registry screen that says something like "Welcome Box". There are three boxes there that have to be checked for you to be eligible for the box. I'm not understanding how to get to 100% on registry completion, but I'm guessing I have to add a bunch of crap that I don't need. I can always delete it later...but, yes, the $10 also has to be shipped.
Thanks @mariposa_767s I missed that part! I just went through their checklist and added the first option that came up. I'll go back and delete it all later.
jess0211 The amazon boxes are currently back in stock!
ETA: Just noticed that was already announced! Whoops!

When you go to the checklist there should be a little blip on the right hand side that says "Don't need it? Just check it." So you don't have to actually add all the stuff, just check all the boxes. Took about 10 minutes for mine to refresh and notice it.

@DuchessOfCambridge Do you get notified that you will receive the basket? It says my item is being shipped, but when I update the page where it says the checklist, it still says $0 of $10 purchased.
ETA: Figured it out. It didn't change until the item shipped
For amazon....How did you guys complete all the categories without picking every little thing out? I'm not sure if I can make this work because we're not the primary prime account owner.
@am+mommy I did pick every thing out, I just quickly clicked the first option that came up for everything and will go back and delete later. I think zigzag had posted a way around this?
@am+mommy I emailed them about that cuz I'm not either..I had to link mine to the primary account, saying we were sharing a household or something. Technically you can see each others credit card info but I'd assume you're close with them if you're sharing an account anyway. Me and my bff share so we just linked ours and don't touch the others cards lol.
I got my Walmart box! I was too excited to remember to take a picture, but it had a Nuk pacifier, an Avent anti-colic bottle, a Huggies diaper, a pack of natural wipes, some other samples, and coupons. I'm super excited about samples this time. With my first, it didn't occur to me that my baby might not like the stuff (pacifiers and bottles) that I bought, so I stocked up on the brand I wanted. He ended up not liking some of it, so I had to experiment and find the brand/type that he liked. It also didn't occur to me that not all name brand diapers would react positively with his skin. I was soooo naïve. Anyway, I am super happy to get different pacifier, bottle, diaper, and wipe samples with this one so I can see which ones work best for the baby. I'm hoping to get my Amazon box next!!
@mariposa_767s I got mine too. Here is my box. PS it's nice, but the Amazon one is way better!

Wow, I just thought I'd look into the Amazon Welcome Box, and my registry from DS1 was still there. It let me just check off the checklist and claim a box since $10+ had already been purchased off the registry (in 2014)! It's on backorder 1-2 weeks but totally free! thanks mamas!
I got my Amazon box! DS was super excited because there was an Angry Birds swaddle blanket in there lol. I'll probably use it as a nursing cover. It's cute. There were also two different samples of nursing pads, an Advent bottle, a full travel pack of Huggies wipes, Pampers wipes, and 5 diapers. There were a few other little samples too.
I keep seeing ads for Everyday Family on my Facebook--they have a welcome box for new moms. I've never heard of the company so I don't know if it's legit. Has anyone tried it?
I got my Amazon box today and I am really happy with the samples! Got a beautiful teal swaddle blanket, Avent bottle, full packages of Huggies wipes, pampers diaper samples and clutch, other diaper samples, 2 nursing pads and some lotions.
@dragonfly87-2 we got the exact same welcome box but different swaddle blankets. Your blanket is so cute! I wonder if because I have my registry set to unknown (we won't kno gender til next month) if that's why they sent a white and gray blanket. It's a super cute one but not one I would have picked out myself lol.
