Hopeful_mom that must have all be completely terrifying! I feel like we have been through so many horrors in the city our brains can't help but prepare for the worst! I'm so very glad it wasn't an attack and there were no explosives of any sort. Working in such a populated/famous part of the city can be unnerving at times:(. It is so sad a life was lost and so many were injured due to someone's irresponsibility. Ugh:( As for my eggs, I too wish I had started all of this earlier because god knows when my amh started tanking and FSH rising but for me I suspect it was in my early 30's. I follow so many ladies though going through such a hard time TTC that are like 30 with low amh so I try to just tell myself we do what we can when we can with the cards dealt to us. They do have age in their sides being under 35 though. And I am grateful that I got on the IVF train when I did, I just hope my quality isn't crap because of all my crappy numbers which must be caused by something (likely anti-ovarian antibodies because I do have at least one autoimmune disease already and have my body trying to kill my thyroid). I just hate that anyone has to go through this struggle. I so hope you get a day 3 report and it's a fantastic one!!!! I really believe you will end up with your BFP and baby soon. Xoxoxo
Me: Hashimoto Autoimune Disease Homozygous MTHFR Cr677 DOR - AMH .27 High FSH (don't even know how high) 2 iui's to start - BFN IVF 1 -3 made it do day 5! 2 5AA 1 6BB PGS results = all abnormal IVF 2 - stimmed for 19 days. insanity. Had 5 follicles that looked mature but only 2 contained mature eggs the others were empty. Nothing made it to day 5 IVF 3 - added in HGH - 4 mature follicles (had some empties again) 3 made it to day 5/6 for PGS (held for testing with next retrieval IVF 4 - Upped my dosage for the first time - Canceled 11 days into sims - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty IVF 5 - Canceled - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty IVF 6 - 3 mature, 2 fertalized 1 made it to day 5 and sent for PGS

FET#1 - Intralipid drips, Prednisone, and did a depot lupron shot before starting the FET protocol Chemical pregnancy FET#2 - PGS normal boy - BFN Natural pregnancy - cycle following the FET2???? Miscarriage at 8 weeks. viability scan had shown an enlarged yolk sac so I had been warned that it was likely not chromosonally normal
DEIVF cycle - picked a donor who is willing to be open! Her cycle resulted in in 4 PGS Normal embryos 1st transfer - chemical pregnancy 2nd transfer - success, May 17 2020 due date!

I did just receive some good news so I thought I would share. My husbands genetic came back with only being a carrier for 1 thing, and its not the same as the 1 thing one of our 3 potential donors has. Leaving this area last night was crazy! And seeing the car in person you really thought you were on the set of a movie. I'm so upset that poor girl lost her life over nonsense.
As for my embabies I'm actually confused by my update. Today she tole me 8A, 8A, 8BC and one 4C. Now that would mean 3 are growing well which is great!! I just thought the other day that one was out. I seriously thought she got confused with who I am...so at this point I will have to sit tight till Monday to hear what has been biopsied...really praying I got some fighters here!!

I've been so crazed at work but I did get some good news that all 3 of my lil embabies made it as day 5 blasts. I won't lie that i'm very nervous with the grading of them...5BA, 5BB and 5BC. I still have to pray that i can get some normies back as last cycle my normies were 5AA BUT a 5BA too, so I'm trying to hope on that. They seemed to be doing better previously...mama is always going to worry about her babies no matter the size right

@Hopeful_mom You're in my thoughts! I'm so glad all 3 made it to blast! I know it's hard not to, but try not to think of grades! While mine was different and a fresh transfer, the 2 we transferred were only 2bc and 3bc. Keeping everything crossed for you!!

Quick update- I had 3 make it to day 5 and they got biopsied. That's all the info I have! I was hoping they would send me more info (the grade) but I never got the follow up email. My Dr. is on vacation and so I'm just corresponding with the nurse. I followed up at 4pm but it looks like that's all the info I get for now. I have no idea how long it takes to get the PGS results but maybe I'm better off not even knowing the grade? Less to worry about?! All of a sudden I'm feeling all sorts of crazy nervous.
@hopeful_mom I am just taking this cycle off (so waiting for AF and then O) before priming with estrogen again I believe and then stims next cycle. I guess that's best. My Dr. told me to let my body rest a little.

On to the next hurdle is right:). Mine are getting sent to Igenomix. I don't know which of their labs because apparently they send it to whichever one scheduling works best for, not whichever one is closest. So I have no idea what the timeframe is but hopefully I'll know more soon:) if they all came back normal that would be amaaaaaaaazing. I'm crossing my fingers and praying for at least 1 his round!!!
Me: Hashimoto Autoimune Disease Homozygous MTHFR Cr677 DOR - AMH .27 High FSH (don't even know how high) 2 iui's to start - BFN IVF 1 -3 made it do day 5! 2 5AA 1 6BB PGS results = all abnormal IVF 2 - stimmed for 19 days. insanity. Had 5 follicles that looked mature but only 2 contained mature eggs the others were empty. Nothing made it to day 5 IVF 3 - added in HGH - 4 mature follicles (had some empties again) 3 made it to day 5/6 for PGS (held for testing with next retrieval IVF 4 - Upped my dosage for the first time - Canceled 11 days into sims - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty IVF 5 - Canceled - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty IVF 6 - 3 mature, 2 fertalized 1 made it to day 5 and sent for PGS
Sent in IVF round 3 and 6 (4 embryos) for PGS testing and got 2 normal embryos!!! 1Boy and 1Girl. Took a little over a year to get those two embryos so demanded all sorts of test prior to attempting transfer. Did EFT, ERA and NK Cells testing.
FET#1 - Intralipid drips, Prednisone, and did a depot lupron shot before starting the FET protocol Chemical pregnancy FET#2 - PGS normal boy - BFN Natural pregnancy - cycle following the FET2???? Miscarriage at 8 weeks. viability scan had shown an enlarged yolk sac so I had been warned that it was likely not chromosonally normal
DEIVF cycle - picked a donor who is willing to be open! Her cycle resulted in in 4 PGS Normal embryos 1st transfer - chemical pregnancy 2nd transfer - success, May 17 2020 due date!
@hopefuljj- so happy you got 3 as well!! I would feel the same waiting for the PGS results, but I'll be sending lots of prayers for normals!

Nothing definite on timing... it sounds like my first choice donor would be available end of June, 3rd choice available end of July, and then 2nd choice available end of August. So happy that my first choice would be up first, but that is asssuming she did well in her first cycle and she is willing to donate again. Once we retain them, they said its 2-3 months to transfer. So earliest will be August, but maybe Sept or Oct. Its hard to be patient, but if I would be thrilled if I got my BFP by end of Sept since that is my 30th birthday.

AFM: As of now - Will go in for bw tomorrow and see if I should start the patch for EPP, I kind of decided the only way I would do a transfer is if ALL my lil embabies come back normal and we kno the likelihood of that...so i'm going to move forward with another cycle and see what happens. Trust me I wish I was already transferring but something in my gut is saying I should do one more. I can certainly tell you its not my bank account though

@Hopeful_mom how many embryos will you have on ice? You've done so many cycles I worry about long term effects of these drugs. What is the threshold where you say I'm done banking and ready to transfer?
Update: we found a donor and are waiting for a calendar. We still have to do all the prelim stuff with contracts and initial testing of donor but at least we finally found a match...it's been almost 3 months! Since we were trying to find a military dependent donor in San Diego my options were significantly reduced so I've had to be really patient! Hoping for August retrieval/transfer. Probably not doing any pgd/pgs testing but not sure yet! I think it will depend on how many eggs fertilize.

@mandasand- omg thats amazing!! hoping everything goes smoothly for you!! I know you have extra obstacles in the military so really hoping this is it for you!! JamieH2000 I appreciate the concern and my mom is actually worried about the long term effect of the drugs as well. My RE suggested if I wanted to take a break but no studies prove that its good or bad to take a cycle off. After my mess cycle I got my normies in the following cycle so you never kno. If my body doesn't respond then we revisit. I'd love all my normies to come back and i'll move on. Trust me my wallet would've liked me to stop 2 cycles ago. Originally after the MC and starting the banking process I was hoping and thinking I would get 5/6 normal embabies (in 2/3 months) and then move on to transfer. I'm thrilled I have the 2 but really would like a few more to bank.

I've been lurking this thread for months and thought I would start participating. I found out last year that I have very low AMH (.22) and we've been receiving IF treatment ever since. We did a couple of cycles on clomid and one unsuccessful IUI (just to check that box I guess) and then moved to IVF at the beginning of this year. We've had 3 ER's with low response each time and only one resulting in an embryo that could be PGS tested. It came back abnormal.
We are meeting with our doctor next week to talk about next steps and options. I believe we will likely need to consider the DE route if we want a family but we will see what our doctor says.
It's been incredible following the stories here. I hope I'm eventually another success.

@Hopeful_mom thanks! The first IVF cycle I was on bcp for almost 3 weeks, then stims for 12 nights: 450 iu Gonal F, 75 iu menopur and then added certitude around the 6th night. I was a very slow responder and we eventually ended up with 3 follicles. At ER all 3 were mature, all 3 fertilized. 1 made it to freeze/PGS but was abnormal. Round 2 I was on bcp for 2 weeks, same protocol but had one dominant follicle that grew fast so I only stimmed for maybe 8 nights. We got 2 eggs, 1 fertilized but didn't make it to freeze. Round 3 we skipped the bcp (which I foolishly thought would make all the difference) and went on a new protocol with microdose Lupron and 600 iu Gonal F. I only stimmed for 6 nights and got 2 giant follicles quickly. ER only retrieved 1 which fertilized but then died immediately.
it will be interesting to hear what the dr says at our meeting on Tuesday and then I have a 2nd opinion appt with another dr wed. I'm hoping all the conversations bring some clarity.

@laurad75 you may want to ask about EPP. What is your afc? If you have DOR, EPP helps quite a few have a better response. If you're can see my signature, you'll see I was on similar protocols And had similar responses to you. ***tw*** after doing EPP, I had the best response and am 22, almost 23, weeks pregnant. I had to push to try EPP, since my re wanted to do the same protocol again. It doesn't hurt to ask. I also supplemented and do acupuncture leading up to the cycle, but I really think EPP made the difference. Good luck!

laurad75 I thought no bcp wouldve made the difference too, because i have low amh and my age we always have skipped the bcp. I will say in my siggy as well you can see i responded the WORST to microdose lupron flare and had to convert to an IUI. kp214 is right about the EPP, my estrogen was fine and my RE didn't think it was necessary but we tried it anyway. I did get a bunch more follies but in the end all were abnormal, so devastating so I get where ur at. BUT did the same protocol the following cycle and got 2 normies back out of 6...now i'm in the pgs waiting game on 3 BUT this time i didn't have time for any estrogen priming so we shall see what happens. Its definitely something to mention to ur RE. I also have done acupuncture on and off through some of my cycles as well.

Who knew getting BW done could still hurt!! I was about ready to puke this am!! After 6 tries and 3 different nurses my body still didn't want to give any blood this morning, did you ever. They felt terrible but my body just wasn't having it. I did give bw friday so they went off of that and my US to make sure i could start stemming today. I was nervous i would have a cyst or something growing as i felt i was getting some strange zings through the week BUT technically the tech said that things look really good. So yes looking to do hopefully my last cycle of ivf, lucky #7 right Assuming my PGS results will becoming in the next few days...could've been today if not for the holiday but we know how that goes. Can't believe how much worse I feel with them getting no blood as opposed to when they get blood. That time they took 30 vials after my MC I felt better that day then I do now....go figure.

HI ladies - I was originally coming to complain that i knew the PGS results were ready before my dr yet again....i feel like I haven't been able to breathe since this morning. 2 of the 3 came back normal woo hoo!!! I'm so over the moon, finally came out on top one cycle!! quality over quantity is what I always have to remind myself!! Especially us low amh ladies!

Kp214 i told myself i was going to keep on with this cycle regardless of what the results were. Funny that they're all the same gender and hoping I can get one more of the opposite to complete the family in this cycle. Does that sound horrible? I guess maybe...my goal was 5/6 normies in hopes of 2 kids....SO lets hope that will happen this cycle and I'll be pregnant by the summer!! I can't believe I wouldve been in my 3rd trimester already. I feel like time is taking forever for me to get pregnant....yet for others who r preggers its flying by!! I know all of yours were the same genders. Are you going to do another FET or cycle after? Have you thought about it?

@Hopeful_mom I don't think it sounds bad to keep going in the hope of getting at least one of the other gender. I have thought about the next one and whether or not we would do another FET or another cycle. I'd thought to have one of each but then think another boy would be great in the hopes that the boys would be close. So, I don't know what we will do if I can talk DH into another one. He just wants to focus on this one.
It's funny what you said about time. I'm finding time to go by slowly. I think time went faster when I was stimming. I'm cheering for another great cycle for you!

Hopeful_mom omg!!!!! I am so over the moon for you!!!!!!!!!! This is wonderful! And I say go for it if you want to try for a norm of the other gender! I'm seriously doing a happy dance for you right now I hear you on the time, I've felt like that for so long now. I'm throwing my sisters baby shower in a month and I've been trying to get pregnant longer than her and she's already having the baby in a couple months!!! Anyway I am so so happy for you!

Had 5 follicles that looked mature but only 2 contained mature eggs the others were empty. Nothing made it to day 5 IVF 3 - added in HGH - 4 mature follicles (had some empties again) 3 made it to day 5/6 for PGS (held for testing with next retrieval IVF 4 - Upped my dosage for the first time - Canceled 11 days into sims - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty IVF 5 - Canceled - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty IVF 6 - 3 mature, 2 fertalized 1 made it to day 5 and sent for PGS
Sent in IVF round 3 and 6 (4 embryos) for PGS testing and got 2 normal embryos!!! 1Boy and 1Girl. Took a little over a year to get those two embryos so demanded all sorts of test prior to attempting transfer. Did EFT, ERA and NK Cells testing.

As for my eggs, I too wish I had started all of this earlier because god knows when my amh started tanking and FSH rising but for me I suspect it was in my early 30's. I follow so many ladies though going through such a hard time TTC that are like 30 with low amh so I try to just tell myself we do what we can when we can with the cards dealt to us. They do have age in their sides being under 35 though. And I am grateful that I got on the IVF train when I did, I just hope my quality isn't crap because of all my crappy numbers which must be caused by something (likely anti-ovarian antibodies because I do have at least one autoimmune disease already and have my body trying to kill my thyroid). I just hate that anyone has to go through this struggle. I so hope you get a day 3 report and it's a fantastic one!!!! I really believe you will end up with your BFP and baby soon. Xoxoxo

Leaving this area last night was crazy! And seeing the car in person you really thought you were on the set of a movie. I'm so upset that poor girl lost her life over nonsense.
As for my embabies I'm actually confused by my update. Today she tole me 8A, 8A, 8BC and one 4C. Now that would mean 3 are growing well which is great!! I just thought the other day that one was out. I seriously thought she got confused with who I am...so at this point I will have to sit tight till Monday to hear what has been biopsied...really praying I got some fighters here!!

I still have to pray that i can get some normies back as last cycle my normies were 5AA BUT a 5BA too, so I'm trying to hope on that. They seemed to be doing better previously...mama is always going to worry about her babies no matter the size right

Nothing definite on timing... it sounds like my first choice donor would be available end of June, 3rd choice available end of July, and then 2nd choice available end of August. So happy that my first choice would be up first, but that is asssuming she did well in her first cycle and she is willing to donate again. Once we retain them, they said its 2-3 months to transfer. So earliest will be August, but maybe Sept or Oct. Its hard to be patient, but if I would be thrilled if I got my BFP by end of Sept since that is my 30th birthday.

@JamieH2000 i love your update glad things are progressing nicely!! I have a feeling we could still be transferring around the same time...you never know
AFM: As of now - Will go in for bw tomorrow and see if I should start the patch for EPP, I kind of decided the only way I would do a transfer is if ALL my lil embabies come back normal and we kno the likelihood of that...so i'm going to move forward with another cycle and see what happens. Trust me I wish I was already transferring but something in my gut is saying I should do one more. I can certainly tell you its not my bank account though

Update: we found a donor and are waiting for a calendar. We still have to do all the prelim stuff with contracts and initial testing of donor but at least we finally found a match...it's been almost 3 months! Since we were trying to find a military dependent donor in San Diego my options were significantly reduced so I've had to be really patient! Hoping for August retrieval/transfer. Probably not doing any pgd/pgs testing but not sure yet! I think it will depend on how many eggs fertilize.

I've been lurking this thread for months and thought I would start participating. I found out last year that I have very low AMH (.22) and we've been receiving IF treatment ever since. We did a couple of cycles on clomid and one unsuccessful IUI (just to check that box I guess) and then moved to IVF at the beginning of this year. We've had 3 ER's with low response each time and only one resulting in an embryo that could be PGS tested. It came back abnormal.
We are meeting with our doctor next week to talk about next steps and options. I believe we will likely need to consider the DE route if we want a family but we will see what our doctor says.
It's been incredible following the stories here. I hope I'm eventually another success.

Diagnosis: Mild Endo, DOR (AMH of 1.5), Poor Quality Eggs/embryos, Displaced Window of Implantation (ERA Post Receptive)

June 2016- Laproscopy- found/removed mild endo and confirmed only 1 normal healthy ovary.

Who knew getting BW done could still hurt!! I was about ready to puke this am!! After 6 tries and 3 different nurses my body still didn't want to give any blood this morning, did you ever. They felt terrible but my body just wasn't having it. I did give bw friday so they went off of that and my US to make sure i could start stemming today. I was nervous i would have a cyst or something growing as i felt i was getting some strange zings through the week BUT technically the tech said that things look really good. So yes looking to do hopefully my last cycle of ivf, lucky #7 right

DOR - AMH .27 High FSH (don't even know how high)
2 iui's to start - BFN
IVF 1 -3 made it do day 5! 2 5AA 1 6BB PGS results = all abnormal
IVF 2 - stimmed for 19 days. insanity. Had 5 follicles that looked mature but only 2 contained mature eggs the others were empty. Nothing made it to day 5
IVF 3 - added in HGH - 4 mature follicles (had some empties again) 3 made it to day 5/6 for PGS (held for testing with next retrieval
IVF 4 - Upped my dosage for the first time - Canceled 11 days into sims - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty
IVF 5 - Canceled - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty
IVF 6 - 3 mature, 2 fertalized 1 made it to day 5 and sent for PGS
Sent in IVF round 3 and 6 (4 embryos) for PGS testing and got 2 normal embryos!!! 1Boy and 1Girl. Took a little over a year to get those two embryos so demanded all sorts of test prior to attempting transfer. Did EFT, ERA and NK Cells testing.
FET#1 - Intralipid drips, Prednisone, and did a depot lupron shot before starting the FET protocol
Chemical pregnancy
FET#2 - PGS normal boy - BFN
Natural pregnancy - cycle following the FET2???? Miscarriage at 8 weeks. viability scan had shown an enlarged yolk sac so I had been warned that it was likely not chromosonally normal
DEIVF cycle - picked a donor who is willing to be open! Her cycle resulted in in 4 PGS Normal embryos
1st transfer - chemical pregnancy
2nd transfer - success, May 17 2020 due date!
Kp214 I wanted to ask have you been taking anything for the mthfr gene? no knowing that ca be a contributing factor curious if your dr changed or added anything to u. AND you're the first pregnant person that has said time is going slowly...so interesting! How r u feeling overall?
