It's just been nothing but pain for me lately. My back aches something fierce and I've had this mind numbing headache that I just can't shake. Make it stahhhp!
Had the cvs yesterday. It went really well. The anticipation was so much worse than the actual procedure. I'm sore today though. And the nausea is back! I thought I was in the clear, but nope. So ready for it to go away and never come back.
@rainbowdashh Glad to hear the CVS went better than you expected! Major bummer about the nausea though, ugh!! I usually only got dehydration headaches before I got pregnant, but these are a whole new ball game.
@Jellybelly119 I didn't get the headaches with DD, so this is new and I'm not enjoying them one bit. They're damn near debilitating!
@Jellybelly119 we get the first half in about 2 weeks or so. The results we really want we won't get for nearly 6 weeks. The wait is going to be miserable!
Is extreme laziness a symptom of pregnancy? I am just the worst lately.
You can not possibly be the worst, because I am definitely the laziest human alive at the moment. If I didn't have to work (adding: or chase my toddler which is much more tiring), I'd literally sit in one spot on my couch all day.
I thought it was over, but I was wrong. Just threw up out of nowhere. I was sitting on the couch, watching my toddler teach herself to climb up next to me unassisted (which is awesome and terrifying simultaneously), and I had to jump up and run to the bathroom.
This is the second time I've gone days on end without any nausea or vomiting, only to have a random and violently extreme throw up.
@vvitchhazel I am getting terrible headaches, too. I don't remember having these with DD. Combine that with the tiredness/laziness and the constant nausea, and I'm pretty useless. (Right there with you, @NME44!) I took TWO naps today, and I'm still tired.
It it's not nausea or vomiting for me, it's the heartburn. I don't remember heartburn being so bad this early with DS...like literally feels like it's on fire
@Marley629 heartburn is the worst. Is there anything you can take that helps? My Ob okayed zantac last pregnancy and it helped a bit. May be worth asking about.
@kaylawing I'm taking Zantac 150. I know it's safe to take up to 300 and I did today but I generally dont but today nothing is working. If OWT's are correct, I'm gonna give birth to chewbacca this go around lol
@vvitchhazel and @jellybelly119 I got the debilitating headaches with DS. My doctor suggested taking magnesium and it helped IMMENSELY. I know it comes in lots of forms and that the pill form is least effective but even that worked for me. I just took it at the same time I took my prenatal.
@rachswi I'm actually taking magnesium this time to see if it would help with insomnia (it seems to!) but it isn't touching the headaches; thanks for the tip though! Last time I had good luck with ice packs on my neck and forehead so I may have to stash a few at work.

There is actually some science to back that one up--there is a correlation. I had a lot of HB with DD, and she had a full head of hair (actually, a bit of a baby mullet--definitely longer in the back). It didn't really kick in til 2nd tri, though--this LO is getting started early, so he/she better have some hair, too!

I turn 12 weeks tomorrow and tonight, after a crazy busy first day of vacation I wiped and saw bright red blood. I'm laying down trying not freak out but I'm scared. Praying this is the "normal" kind of spotting.

@vvitchhazel yay for your toddler's milestones boo for the nausea and vomiting @NME44 I'm also the laziest person on earth @rainbowdashh I'm so glad the CVS went well yay
I've had a really painful stretching feeling in my ute this evening and while I'm not worried something's "wrong" (baby has to grow right!), I am concerned that all of pregnancy will keep feeling like this... does it? I mean I was squirming on the couch it was so painful, like up there with some bad af cramps. But it wasn't cramps, just a lot of painful stretching... I've been extra active today but also drinking a ton of water. ETA Like right now it hurts in my uterus/pelvis just to try and get up from a chair. Even walking that area feels tender. Could it be constipation?
Also my bladder signal to my brain is broken. I don't know when I need to pee, I just know things feel uncomfortable down there and I figure I probably need to pee. Does that sound weird or normal?

@vvitchhazel I too have been experiencing really bad back pain.... Mine is really low in the pelvic region, deep into the bones and joints (not muscular pain). Is this what you have? Have you found anything to relieve your pain? Idk if it's the pelvic area adjusting already or what! I can't sleep at all, because I'm so uncomfortable no matter what I do!!
@mandayno That's exactly what I have. Definitely bones and joints, not muscular. So far nothing helps, unfortunately. I've tried taking a couple extra strength Tylenol, but that doesn't really touch it. I can't get comfortable in bed whatsoever either. I toss and turn all night and then wake up aching.
@vvitchhazel I told my OB about my horrible headaches and she okayed naproxen (aleve). It may be worth asking yours about because it works wonders for joint pain as well. It should be avoided in the last 3 months though because it can effect lung maturation. Hope you start feeling better lady!
I'm 10 weeks and the nausea had been horrible. It let up for 2 days and I thought I was in the clear. However on day 3, the nausea was back with a vengeance. I am also so exhausted all the time and since it is the long weekend I'm just napping.
I actually came in here to complain about my constant headache and it looks like many of you are in the same boat. I have a headache almost daily now, and taking tylenol doesn't seem to help at all. I'm definitely going to talk to my doctor about this.
I was winding down for bed and looking for a no stress article to read while my waiting for my diclegis to work and found this funny article.. I don't know if any of you believe in astrology.. I don't necessarily believe in it but I still like to look stuff up.. I feel like being a Scorpio really fits me but my husband who is a Leo it's completely completely wrong about him.. Anyway I found this website that has your sign and what type of mom you would be https://www.momstrology.com/momscopes/the-scorpio-mom
I'm generally not a crier at weddings. Maybe start to tear up, but nothing real.
When one of my best friends from college stepped out during her wedding ceremony last night, I instantly started bawling. Big old tears rolling down my cheeks!

@vvitchhazel The headaches are horrible. I could barely get out of bed yesterday I had such a bad migraine. Hoping they go away soon! @thatlauragirl Hope all is well! That can be scary - thinking of you. @jackiesmom324 I'm a cancer and it's spot on.
Besides headaches my latest symptom is horrible, horrible gas. The pain from the gas was so awful today, I felt like I was going to pop. Pregnancy is so glamorous...
