@brooklyngirl18 wooooohoooo! Great news about the fluid! Have you had any side effects being on 6mg of Estrace to this point? I started my tablets last night and had an excruciating headache within the first hour that lasted til I fell asleep. Took my 3mg this morning and not as much, but def a mild headache...

@prudence9 i'm on a medicated cycle. The dr is actually upping my estrace to 8 mg a day, i guess my levels are low. I start progesterone Sunday.

@cmiller73 yes I've been getting terrible headaches ugh it sucks so bad. I hope you feel better.

Does anyone know how long we stay on estrace if the FET is successful? I know progesterone until about 12 weeks but i've never heard about estrace.

Hi ladies! I'm joining this group after an unsuccessful FET in May. AF just reared her ugly head this week and if this cycle goes like last cycle, I assume I will have my transfer around May 11th.
I tried to catch up, but this board has been so active! I look forward to keeping up as we move into June

@brooklyngirl18 after my FET, I had to use the patches until the end of week 8 and PIO until the end of week 12.

@kaseycoco sorry about your last cycle. Hopefully June will be your lucky month! Are they going to do anything different this time around?

AFM... AF stopped by today.... it wasn't a surprise as i stopped BCP on Sat... tomorrow is my baseline... and if I get the ok then will start with the patches.

I still havent got the biopsy results. I think it can take a week or two... so hopefully by the end of next week!!!

if the results come back normal (as my dr predicts) I will continue with the planned FET and hope that I won't have another m/c!

AFM still waiting on AF to show up so we can do our baseline. It's so interesting to see all the different protocols we are all going through to try and get the same results.

@amanning2011 I agree with you about different protocols. My RE doesn't wait for AF to show. I go off BCP one day and straight to Patches the next with a baseline between days 2&4. There have been several times where I don't even bleed at all. My transfers are also based on his schedule I'm given a list of days to pick from, based on that day I get my schedule.

So 15 days after starting Lupron (cd21) is here, and no AF. I went in to have my estradiol checked, and I will have a lining check tomorrow... but I don't know what will happen now.

Anyone know what goes down now? I'll be talking to my RE tomorrow after my lining check, but I know my anxiety is going to be through the roof tonight.

@Cowboycorgi did you take BCP?

i had my baseline today. On CD 2 and was told that my lining is a little too thick (6.4) but that I should continue with the plan (patches starting tonite) and that it will probably go down... but of course the minute I got back home the flow kinda stopped and I just have spotting. Ahh. There's always something to worry about...

@Prudence9, no bcp's just 20units Lupron starting at cd21. Which honestly kind of confused me because I'm annovulatory and I didn't think Lupron would cause me to have a period. I didn't realize it would be a problem until I talked to the nurse today on the phone and she mentioned, depending on lining, we may have to push back FET.

Being annovulatory, if a bleed was this important, why would my RE skip BCP? I feel very confused

Hi Ladies! It's Friday before the 3-day weekend! I'm patiently (not really) waiting for AF to arrive so I can get the FET show on the road but no signs of it. My cycle has been shorter (25-26 days) since I started IVF but this cycle, it's day 27 and nada. I normally start spotting a few days before, but not even that. I'm a bit fearful that I'm going to have one of those 45-day cycle I had a few years back (pcos symptoms, maybe).

My period started today! Yay! My period started while my RE was doing an internal ultrasound to find out why my period hadn't started and if my lining was too thick to continue. Boo!

Welcome all new people! And I'm so very excited for everyone who is beginning their meds soon - please keep us updated! I have another week or so before I stop bcp and start estrace and patch.

I've been thinking a bunch about bed rest after the ET...my nurse says there are no studies that show it improves pregnancy rates, yet I've read that lots of ppl stay in bed for 2-3 days...I'd like to hear what everyone's docs have to say about this? Thanks gals!!

@i-wanna-b-the-girl-w-most-cake I actually heard it is good for you to get up and move. It helps with circulation. After my transfer they told me I can get up immediately. I waited 3 minutes and then had to go to pee. And after that just went home.

I spent some time in bed once I got home because I was still under the influence of the Valium.

But was back at work the following day. And I did end up getting BFP

I have also heard that is good to move around some after your embryo transfer. My FET is on Wednesday, I am transferring two embryos a 3bb and a 4bc.

I was worried after my baseline as they told me it's a little too thick and I had just a little bit spotting afterwards. So called the clinic this morning and one of the REs just called me back and agreeded to see me for another ultrasound tomorrow morning!

@kmoore6886 I believe the grade is day 5AB. I forget to be honest with you, but RE said it has about 70% chance of implantation so I more focused on her statistics..

Hey ladies! Just got back from our long camping trip (Thurs-Sun) and have been hoping for a call from my nurse to come in for blood work tomorrow to check my E2 (make sure it is on track).... since they usually bring you back after 4 days of the Estrace (but I was on a mountain and not about to drive 3 hours back for a blood draw) they said to come back on Tuesday instead. However if they had a patient who was near the end of her ER cycle (requiring monitoring before trigger) I might be able to go in on Monday.... granted, it will only push me back a few days or so if they need to adjust my meds if the E2 is too low, but if all is well, I will continue on 6mg of tabs a day til the 5th then go back for lining check.

Congrats to everyone working towards your transfer this week! Awesome to see everyone filling in the dates and getting excited for the big day
