@carries2018 it was like Honey I Blew Up The Baby when she came out. So crazy! I pulled her out and we were all like "omg that is a big baby!" before they even weighed her. It sure explained why it felt like a semi truck was exploding out of my butt on the way out. (And I had an epidural because I'm a quitter, but I sure hadn't pressed the button enough!)
@sjohns908 her head and arms were already out and the OB asked if I wanted to pull her out the rest of the way so I reached down and pulled her onto my belly. I'm pretty sure I grunted from the size!
@natleilynn No wonder the Momma Cardinal looks pissed. Birds are assholes! Lol.

@ariz17 every so often, the bump will have a few hours where they'll ask questions on a board and anyone who participates gets entered into a drawing. I think the last time they did, 2 people from O17 won and today I was one of the lucky chicks who won $100 BRU card! Woooo!

My husband just brought me to tears. His great uncle passed away a couple months ago and today dh and his mom and dad took the stuff left in storage to some families in need. He called and said they dropped off things to a single mom with 5 girls and there is one bed in their house. He said the little girls were so excited to get another bed and dresser, but were absolutely thrilled to get a box of blankets. Blankets!
I told him we need to have our kids take toys and clothes to kids like that so that they can see how truly fortunate we are. To be so excited over blankets really puts things into perspective
Is there a certain weight we pregnant ladies aren't supposed to lift? My step mom called me out for carrying one of my girls the other day, and in hindsight DD2 is 37 pounds (at 21 months ). If I haven't been put on any restrictions I should be fine right? I'll ask my OB at my appt on Friday, but I thought I was going to die a little bit attempting to carry her up the stairs just now.
@natleilynn@TallMomma29 I think as long as you don't have any issues, it's not a big deal. They just recommend staying under 25lbs but they also recommend lots of things we don't tend to listen to. Like Listeria sandwiches
My doctor didn't give me a number but basically said not to do anything outside of my normal lifting. So my toddler is my limit at 32 pounds. I try not to lift more than that, I don't see moving any couches in my future.
My first pregnancy, stacked cord wood at 7 months pregnant. Slowly, but I did it. DS is about 40 lbs, and I lift him all the time. I never thought not to.
On a different note, DS was up all night throwing up. Cross your fingers that SO and I don't come down with whatever that was!
A friend from work was out somewhere and saw something she apparently HAD to buy me. It's a romper. It's a beige color, has a taco on it and says "Let's taco bout it". It's a 12 months size so I won't be able to use it for quite some time but I love it just the same. Also, I came across this yesterday:

Euf. I am just done catching up on this thread. I love white cars, aaand black ones. Cant stand any other colors. I havent been able to wear thongs since college. I love the brazilian ones. Cant sleep without any underwear, way too many fluids like one of you explained! Congrats @natleilynn!! I was supposed to be in september too, but i like you ladies more! And on the topic of lifting Dh now acts as if im a total handicaped (his mom is feeding that behavior, scraing him all the time on how i could lose it while lifting as light as the fabric softener, ridiculous) so i just do everything while he s at work and he doesnt even realize its been done.
*aw* saw baby move in belly with H yesterday. Being a FTM, it was sssssso exciting
