My little guy has been up talking/whining for an hour. He's one of those kids that, if I go in there, it will turn in to full on crying instead so I'm trying to let him work it out on his own. Anyway, in the meantime I've become so hungry I can't fall back asleep. So leftover buttered noodles at 5am:/
@MississippiCatfish so we live the same life?? Actually, DS2 woke me up first, to find him a tank top at 5am and then I managed to fall back to sleep and he woke me up at 5:20 so I could put some cream on a mosquito bite. Then I managed to fall back to sleep and DS3 woke up at 5:45 and I also tried to let him work it out, because sometimes he'll wake up at this time and go back to sleep for s couple hours! But by then I was starving, so I'm hiding in my bedroom eating cheez-it snack mix.
@cmessamore Why don't they sleep!? My 4 year old is up now too annnnnd he has hand foot and mouth disease. We were exposed last week and that explains his and my 2.5 yo's 101 fevers yesterday. Yay.
The 4 year old bounces back quickly, but this will be awful for the 2.5 year old. Everything tends to drag out and be more miserable for him:(
@MississippiCatfish I hope your kids feel better soon. My nephews had that and were miserable.
I also had to get up extra early today (alarm at 4:55am) because DD1 has to be at school 3 hours early for a field trip. DD2 is still sound asleep though
Breakfast - English muffin, turkey, pepper jack and fried egg sandwich. Lunch - slice of leftover pizza and two breadsticks. Snack #1 - oreos dipped in leftover Frosting from this weekend. Snack #2- cherry tomatoes dipped in ranch. Dinner - Southwest black bean burgers topped with guacamole and side of sweet potato fries.
I'll spare you guys the rash pictures I took to send to my husband, but they literally disappeared in 2 hours, so not HFM I guess? So strange. I guess the fever is unexplained for now. That's probably better? Kids.
Tuna salad sandwich at home for lunch. But I put too much mayo in the mix so it's sub-par:/ Boo.
Proper Crisp potato chips, in salt and Apple cider vinegar.... they are the best chips ever! Also the paperika ones are amazing too.
I may have gotten carried away and emailed the company last nighy telling them their stock prices are going to go up because of my severe craving for their chips.
@bcashaw I eat a lot of mcdonalds because nothing ever sounds good and that is the closest food to our apartment. Also french fries somehow are the only things that dont make me sick.
However I must say @MKMandeville oreos dipped in frosting sounds amazing at this moment. Sadly I don't have either thing....
@perfectypo Too funny!! I actually ate TB a couple days ago for the first time since my last pregnancy I always expect to experience deep satisfaction, and then I'm like, "Eh, just Taco Bell."
@MississippiCatfish I'm so sorry you don't feel the same deep satisfaction as I do when eating Taco Bell. Maybe it's because DH and I have to really go out of our way to get it. As in we have to drive to go get it which is pretty absurd since we live in a city.
@DuchessOfCambridge This made me giggle because it literally popped up as I hit post on my comment about your Chinese food stain. Food food food. I think my cravings deceive me at the bell. I ordered a double decker taco expecting it to be crunchy and delicious, but the thick layer of refried beans had made it soggy. Next time, I'm going for the crunch wrap supreme. That always hit the spot in college
I have a doctors appointment today and I won't make it home without lunch, so now I'm debating on what take out I want... I'm honestly craving McDonald's fries and a sub from D'Angelos...but I think hitting up two fast food restaurants for one meal is a little much! Lol
Haha @DuchessOfCambridge the thought just never appealed to me. My stepson absolutely adores it though. Also pre pregnancy I really didn't eat any sort of fast food or junk, pretty much strictly salads. Guys I just ate all the McDonald's. Like. 50$ worth of McDonald's. Not really because I fed the children too.... but all day breakfast is my jam and big macs aren't as delicious as I remember them.... also fries with ketchup and Mc chicken sauce is life.
@bcashaw I really like fast food. A lot. I think it is so delicious for such a low price point. But I also limit my fast food intake, A LOT. I haven't had Taco Bell since February Being healthy(ish) is so sad.
The two closest places to grab food for me are taco bell and mcdonalds...i have eaten so much mcdonalds because for some reason it settles in my stomach the best. Taco bell is not my favorite. But I have eaten it. I agree that taco bell is really best to eat after a night of drinking.
In an attempt to curb my sugar intake, we removed all candy from that house that isn't the kids'. All of my chocolate is GONE, and my DH was very sweet and replaced some of it with sugar free options. So my pregnant self is eating a sugar free Russell Stover mint patty. I'm not sure if it tastes really good because it is or if I just desperately want it to taste good.
I have been thoroughly obsessed with turkey sausage links for the last week. Doctor wanted me to eat more protein for a few days during a minor bought of dehydration, found these and am obsessed. The only bummer is thanks to my preggo-gas-tastic-ness and DH calls it, Everytime I burp I taste them.
Mint Oreo thins someone left in the faculty room! Today was Taco Tuesday for dinner.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
Chicken tikka masala (TJ freezer section) at 8am. I recognize how ridiculous this is, but we've been up since 4:30 am here, so it just feels right! Also, I put the kids in the car this morning at 6am for a coffee run. I really wanted to stop for donuts and didn't, so I'm considering it a win. At least the tikka has protein. I'll be satisfied for a full 40 minutes!
It's a rainy day here and I'm taking DS to the mall after his nap so he can play in the indoor play area. Honestly it's because I want Cheesecake Factory.
Re: What my pregnant self is eating 5/15
The 4 year old bounces back quickly, but this will be awful for the 2.5 year old. Everything tends to drag out and be more miserable for him:(
And hand, foot, and mouth is soooo not fun!! I remember when DS2 had it while he was in pre-school. It was awful.
I also had to get up extra early today (alarm at 4:55am) because DD1 has to be at school 3 hours early for a field trip. DD2 is still sound asleep though

popcorn, chips, whatever. I don't crave sweets which is so unlike me. So much different than my first.
Also been a big fan of chicken souvlaki . Yum
Spent the weekend at Disneyland indulging in monte cristos, churros, soft pretzels, popcorn and Pinapple Dole Whips. Amazing!
@mississippicatfish the only time I ever get deep satisfaction from Taco Bell is if it's 2am and I am drunk.
@baby3forme I read that as Philadelphia cheesesteak not cheesecake and I was so confused as to why you would put those toppings on

Today was Taco Tuesday for dinner.
