@RiverSong15 I have to get labs on CD 21 regardless. I had my left tube removed in October so I have to be on Clomid to ovulate more. I have to have labs on cycle day 21 to see if the Clomid increased ovulation. This was my first month with negative ovulation...more than likely due to MC- first cycle. Otherwise I'm a 28 regular girl..never missed a period except recent pregnancy! I don't generally have ovulation problems just tubal haha!
Negative after a 4 hour hold on a Wondfos. Period should be here Friday or Saturday. Today I have a headache. Pretty sure I will be in WTO in a few days.
How is it I got pregnant twice only after a month of trying but after the second pregnancy that was my miscarriage I'm on month 4?

@hdaley sorry . I hear ya. I got pregnant 1 month with DD. That's why I'm so over all the things TTC related that drive people batty. If I put in too much effort I know I'll be really dissapointed. You just have to hope that 1 day it will happen. That's where I'm at. Took 6 months to get pregnant with our loss so I'm sure it will be another 6 months. I'm on 4th cycle too.
CD8 here. This will be month 6 since MMC. I called a diff RE for a visit. They seem more likely to put the bloodwork through for me. The other place would have been almost $1000. And as of now my ob-gyn won't do it. Grrr
@sprkls8506 I temped last cycle but took this month off. I think I will temp next cycle. It was nice for my brain to see that final temp drop at the end of the cycle. It helped me not waste pregnancy tests. If my 10 dpo the temp was still high then I would test. If it dropped then I know there's no point to testing.

I agree about the temping. I took this month off from all TTC and just went the science route with meds and IUI. I will probably add temping back to see if there is that drop. It took me 3 months to get pregnant with DS and then once cycle returned after nursing it took another 3 months with my first loss. Then it took 6 months from that to get pregnant with 2nd loss. This is first cycle after 2nd loss
You guys are making me want to start temping. It took 12 months to get KU with DD, and 13 months for this last one that we lost. I just used OPKs both times.
Both pregnancies I only used opks. I'm sorry @BelhurstBride. Want to do a pee pact and we don't pee on another stick until we are late! When is your period due? I need to stop with the insanity. With each negative it makes me sad and I don't want to be sad!!!!

My due date is July 25 and that date is only 2 months away. It's hard to believe and it hurts too that life just kept on moving while I feel kind of stuck. As the months go by it does get better but I'm sure the whole month of July will suck. I hope my husband is understanding.
The positive in all of all of this is that I look at my son or my nieces/nephews and I realize what a miracle kids really are. To be born and to be healthy is truly a miracle. It's a shame that some people that those miracles for granted.

I know everyone is different with their approach and do what is best and what works for them, but on the months I tried the hardest I was crushed the most. I made a promise to myself after our loss that I would not go back to the "control" of it. It makes me sad, stressed, BD not fun, and forced.
@SP128 I think I might like the statistics of it as well. I like having something to look at and see patterns.
@vlagrl29 I felt like it was a crushing blow every month either way, whether I did the OPKs or not. 12 and 13 months is a long damn time. I pray to God every day that it doesn't take that long again.
Sorry for BFN ladies. It's sucks. This process sucks. I tried the shot in the dark for a couple of months before my DS and nothing that's when I got serious with tracking cycle, OPKs, pre seed. I added temping in after the first loss. I needed this mental break this past month but will add back to routine this next cycle if not KU. I have to make every cycle count at almost 42 years old. @hdaley I'm with you on knowing what a blessing healthy children are and it makes me sick to see people take them for granted
I for sure thought I was going to be KU again before EDD....
It is such a shame that people don't see children as a blessing. I know that I always said that I wouldn't spoil my children. However, this journey has taught me that they are a blessing. If I am blessed, I feel like I would bend the no spoiling rule ever so slightly.
***TW*** Me: 36 DH:35 Married: 7/10/2016 TTC#1 - May 2016 BFP 9/6/2016 - Missed MC 10/20/2016 BFP 5/5/2017 - CP IVF #1 - June 2017 - Transferred 1 fresh 4 AA embryo. 7/9 Beta #1 - 161 Adam Born on 3/18/18
@tlq0726 - I hear ya. 12 months is a long time! June will mark a year since we started but there were 2 months we didn't BD so that's why I'm giving myself until the end of August.
Children are a blessing and I just feel whenever it does happen again for us we will not take it for granted and just cherish it more than we would have. I may have some anxiety in the beginning though since I have lost a bean.
I remind myself people try for 3-5 years before they get a baby so in the grand scheme of things this is just a little blip in the radar of our lives. Even the people I know that did go thru fertility treatments got pregnant when they were not getting treated. I got to believe I will to since we are A ok with all testing that has been done.
So I have a 6 yr old. When I got pregnant I told close friends and family. I didn't wait. I figured if anything happened I would want support. My biggest fear was miscarriage. Everything turned out fine. When I found out in October that I was pregnant I didn't tell anyone except DH. I swear I knew something was wrong-6th sense. Nothing happened to make me have a real reason to worry. I just didn't want to deal with a million ques or people saying stuff that annoyed me. I was supposed to do dinner with a friend right after I found out I would miscarry. I told her and she ended up telling me about her miscarriage. It helped me so much. More people know what happened now but still only a handful. My due date was mid June and I would have had a section early June. This is my last cycle to get pregnant before my due date.
@sprkls8506 I too have a 6 year old! I didn't wait to tell anyone either and I didn't for my loss. Waited until betas doubled. Then spotting started - so I let family know I was spotting.
Do do you worry about the bigger age gap? I wanted a 5/6 year gap but now I'm afraid it will at least be 7 or more.
Have you tried using a menstrual cup after BD
@vlagrl29? After 13 months we had
finally gotten our referral to the RE, so I was researching IUIs and IVF and
all things “medical pregnancy” related.
I came across a thread about using a menstrual cup to make sure things
have a chance to get where they need to go (without all coming back out once you move around).
I decided what the heck, it’s cheaper than IVF, so we tried it one
month. Low and behold, the next month I
got my BFP. *TW Of course, that ended with the mc so take
from my story what you will. TW* I think
we’ll definitely try it again this cycle though.
OAN, about people who take their children for granted. Let me just tell you about my brother and
SIL. They have 10 and 5 year old DDs,
and I can’t even tell you how much it frustrates me when they take their kids
to breweries every weekend, and never to do things the girls actually WANT to
do. And every time we’re all back home
at my mother’s house they dump the girls as soon as they get there and go out
to do whatever they want. Talk about aggravation.
@tlq0726 - 90% of the time we BD right before bed and I end up going to sleep right afterwards. sounds interesting - I might give it a try. How long would you leave it in?
Well ladies. CD 28 here. I have not gone past 28 days without a period in a long time. I took a FRER with FMU and it was negative. As much as I stared at that stupid test and tried to convince myself I saw something I know nothing is there.
so now I sit here and wait for the stupid Biatch to show her ugly face.
Only good news is good news is my LP went from 10- now 12 days. If she doesn't show up by Monday I'll take another test, because to be that late would be rare for me.
Question: what are some natural ways to boost fertility? I seem to lack in the CM too. I have tried preseed, opks, temping, pineapple after O, vitamin zinc, and vitamin B6. I was struggling with a shortish LP of around 10 days and IBS/eczema so I heard zinc can help with both. This last cycle we used preseed not inserted and opks. Thinking of games plans for cycle 4 TTCAL.

@hdaley - acupuncture maybe? I used it after 12 cycles then got pregnant with my oldest daughter. If nothing else, its super relaxing and forces you to calm your mind. having a game plan is always helpful for me too. hang in there!!
