Hi everyone! I got a very faint BFP yesterday on a early detection test. My EDD is January 18 based on my last period. I have a almost 3 year old DS (July 2014). Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

Hi everyone! I'm a 33 year old FTM and i got my BFP last Sunday. My EDD is January 11th based on LMP but more likely January 14th by ovulation. This is all really new to me, I've never been pregnant before but I'm super excited! Looking forward to chatting with everyone
ETA: well, that was a short 5 days. I got my beta back from this morning and it only went from 32 to 43 so I'm out again. good luck to you lovely ladies.
I can finally post!! Nice to meet you all! I was on the knot, nest, then bump and I cannot for the life of me remember my email or login. So I'm "new" again. This format is completely new to me. Years ago it was just normal random threads/chit chat so I will try and keep up with the organization. I got my bfp 5-6 and according to my ovulation date I'm due 1-17. I'm hoping to stay with you ladies, but I have a huge history of chemical pgs (up to 7 now...), but this one has stuck a bit longer so far so I have hope. All of a sudden today I don't feel pregnant though, which is why I'm still up 6 hrs before I need to be at my ob for my second beta tomorrow! ::fingers crossed for doubling::
I have 3 kids already and hoping for the 4th and final to add to the chaos. Boy 6, girl 5, and girl 3. We're going to be team green this time which we're excited about (found out for the other 3) and unfortunately my 4th c/s, which I'm admittedly nervous about!
Man! That 72 hour waiting period to post is a kick in the butt! haha, Ive been stalking all the boards for the last 72 hours but now Im finally able to post
Im a 30 year old first time mom to be My husband and I met almost 5 years ago, dated most of that time but were married last November
We have (4) four legged children already, 2 cats, a corgi mix (in my profile pic) and our newest addition is a pit mix we brought back from our destination wedding.
Im very excited, very scared, always worrying. According to my last AF (Im going tot have to learn all these abbreviations!) my due date should be January 9th! Just 9 days past that tax break haha
HEY LADIES!!! I'm Danni, 27 And I'm Expecting My Second Child!!!! My DD Turned 1 Feb.24 And My EDD Is Jan.04... But I Was 4 Days Late With My DD Sooooo We Will See....This Should Be Fun!!! Symptoms...Stomach Aches?? Craving...EGGS And Anything With Taco Seasoning...Weird Because I Couldn't Stand Eggs When I Was Pregnant With My Daughter...Anyway Excited To GROW With You Ladies...
My due date with my first baby is January 4th. I am 30 years old!
My husband and I have been trying to conceive for a while now (November 2015). We had a loss at 8 weeks May last year and it took me a while to be ready to try again after that. In October we started trying again and I got my BFP May 1st so I am really happy but really scared too.
My name is Caitlin. I just got my bfp (x2) today. My due date is either 1/16 (based on LMP) or 1/17 ( based on when I'm nearly positive I O'd). I am a STM; my DD will be 3 in August. @missblaze and I are friends from having Aug14 babies together. Glad to be here with you all!
I was on the Aug 14 board as well! I was mostly a lurker but I've actually made some friends that live in my state from that board. My son was born 2 weeks early so he's a July baby.
Just got my BFP today. I tested last week and it was negative. Thought I would test again since still no AF. I'm kind of in shock. DD was born June 16 and is 11 months old. This baby is unexpected but a happy surprise. EDD Jan 1.

Hi! FTM here, 29 years old and married for 5 years this September. Got my very first BFP on 5/2 and my approximate due date is 1/7 based on LMP. Got a blood test done on 5/4 confirming, but I don't go see my OB until 6/12 tho and it's driving me crazy to have to wait! My OB said they don't have folks come in until at least week 10 - is this normal?? Seems like a really long time to wait to see a doctor...
Nervous, excited, shocked, and looking forward to getting to know all of you in the next several months!
@mamakassie2 thanks so much. Glad to know I'm not the only. I am nervous about the 2 under 2 I won't lie.
@ecolton01 I was not in June 16. I was actually a pretty good lurker/occasional poster in July 16. I was induced at 37 so I ended up with a June baby. I want to be a more active member of this community this time. Wow my DD is only 2 days older than yours. Are you freaking out?!?
@kgtradd It's normal here as well -- the office I'm going to this time around doesn't see people until 8 weeks, and the one I went to for my son didn't start until 13 weeks.
It's such a long wait, but I assume it's because there's not much they can do until the baby is a bit bigger and easier to see/hear.
We've been TTC#1 for two years, and had two early losses (June 2015, January 2016). I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's (thyroid antibodies) in March and have been on levothyroxine for these past two cycles. I got my bfp on 5/7 and I'm 4 weeks today - my EDD is January 19. My first beta (10dpo) was 34, my second (12dpo) was 136. I go back next Wednesday for a third beta and (if all continues to go well!) my first ultrasound is scheduled for May 26 - I'll be six weeks that day. Given our loss history I'm trying to just stay cautiously optimistic, but I'm glad to be here with y'all!!
@burnsmommy27 a little bit lol I'm more worried about the pregnancy with a little one then actually having a baby with a little one since I was so sick with her ... hopefully this one is better
@remindmeofthebabe I have hashimotos also and have been trying to handle it since I was in middle school. *TW .. my sis also has the same disorder and she lost 6, before they figured it out . End TW.. as soon as I found out I was pregnant with both I got tested right away 3weeks ish , and I get tested once every 3 weeks for the entire 9 months it soooo important due to the correlation it has with loss if it's not spot on .. I am now on naturthyroid ... it's INCREADIBLE!! My levels have virtually stayed the same for over a year which is nuts . When I was pregnant with DD I noticed my thyroid levels dropped so I had to up my dose at 6 weeks and then again about at 3 months and 6 months so make sure you stay on top of it. Then it slowly went back to normal after she was born . I would not switch medicine right now though in fear that it would screw something up , but after baby is born I would look into it . Let me know what questions you may have of any because I have been around the horn 10 different times , my entire family on the female side struggles with it
Thanks @ecolton01! My endo has been on top of it, which is reassuring. I retested my TSH when I went for beta #1 and he upped my levo dosage slightly. He wants me to repeat the labs basically every 4 weeks all pregnancy.
When I was diagnosed, my TSH levels were and always had been normal - it was just the antibodies that were high. But my RE and endo recommended I go on levo anyway because some research indicates it reduces mc risk for people like me with high TPO levels but normal TSH.
I also read that eating a gluten free diet can reduce the antibodies and put the hashimotos in remission, so I've been doing that since I was diagnosed too.
Hello all, I am Lema expecting my second baby; my first love bug turned 1yr this month on the 9th. Due date is January 21st. In hindsight I probably should have suspected it a couple days ago when I became a little nauseous during yoga. I'm glad to be joining.
Hi everyone! I'm Amy, a FTM, due around the end of Jan. I got my BFP May 11 (CD10) and am super excited! Not too many symptoms so far- a bit carsick and headachy but that's about it.
Hi ladies! I got my BFP this morning around 10dpo, I was using OPKs, but it could be earlier because the test line was so faint. But I managed to turn a FRER and a wondfo. My estimated due date is January 23rd, based on LMP. As for symptoms I don't really have any except for major bloating at night. I have a feeling I won't be able to hide this pregnancy for very long. I am a STM, my DD is 21 months and I participated in the Aug15 BMB.
Oh goodness, here I am! I should be due around January 3rd or 4th. This will be my first.
I'm freaking the heck out right now. We've been trying for a year. I'm 36 and will be 37 when the baby comes. I'm obese. I have hashimoto's thyroid disease. I'm scared of every single thing going wrong I just read this awful NPR article about maternal mortality and doctors ignoring signs of distress in the mother after birth. Gah.
I like my usual OBGYN, but I don't know about the rest of the practice. I saw another doctor there for the pregnancy confirmation appointment at 5 weeks and I didn't care for her at all. She was brusque and didn't want to answer any questions until my official first prenatal appointment at 8 weeks. Is that normal?
Welcome to all the new ladies!!! Glad to have you all join us!! I'm a FTM mom and am especially glad to see other FTM's join so I have other people to freak out with, ha!
@mcrosie welcome! I read that article too and listened to the story about it on the radio... statistically speaking any of those situations are beyond unlikely, but I think it is a reminder that we know our bodies best and to speak up even if we are consumed with all those initial newborn snuggles!
Nervous to be doing this again! The 30 years old here with baby #2 for me, will make #3 for my SO. +HPT on 5/10/17 EDD of 1/15/18 ETA: DD is 5. SO's kids are 3 (girl) and 11 months (boy).
Hi ladies - I'm 11dpo and got positive Wondfo and digi this morning, 5/14/17. EDD is 1/24/18. I am 35 and will be a FTM - but am mom to four fur babies (one cat, three dogs). I was nauseous at 7dpo and have been nauseous all day today. I'm sure this feeling is familiar to others but I have a fear this is a CP (no reason to think so, I just have all the feelings right now). Hoping to get in to my dr this week to do betas just in case! Hope to be around and get to know you ladies! Happy Mother's Day!
Apparently my phone spazzed out and didn't post everything. I just got my bfp today. Google says edd is Jan 22. This will be number 4. J(b) is Nov 2011, N(b) is Feb 2013, E(g) is Nov 2015. J was an emergency c section. N and E were both vbacs.
Happy Mother's Day to me! (and all of you fabulous moms and STB moms!)
I got a BFP this morning! I will be a FTM (although I have 2 wonderful SKs.)
I honestly didn't think we were pregnant. I normally symptom spot and drive myself crazy after O, but this month in particular I didn't religiously track anything and I was very dismissive of my few symptoms that I did have. I have a short LP and my blood sugars were off (which they put me on medication for) so I assumed we weren't going to conceive on our own. We've been trying for almost 2 years. I've been seeing an RE and we were scheduled to start Clomid for the first time my *next* cycle so I had really just let go and not focused on it this cycle. Surprise-surprise! My husband may have had a few "I told you so"s today
The internet claims my DD based on O is 1/20/2018, but obviously that's subject to change.
I don't think its fully sunk in yet. We haven't told anyone and its killing me. I saw my brother & his wife (who are also TTC) and my mom today for Mother's Day but I really want to wait until after the 8 week ultrasound at least before we tell most people. My best friend is dealing with a lot with school (she's finishing up her last clinical for her Master's Degree), her grandmother who she helps care for just entered hospice a few days ago, and she has a really important job interview next week. I've decided to to wait until at least after her job interview so she has just one less thing on her mind, but at the same time I feel almost guilty I haven't told her yet! I'm sure she'll forgive me for waiting a week
Greetings & Happy mother's day to everyone. My name is Susan and got my BFP on 5/1 after being 3 days late. I just turned 42 last week and it's been 19 years since my last pregnancy. Right now, I'm excited but exhusted. Anxiously waiting the first doc visit on 6/7. DH and I can't wait for the ultrasound and heartbeat.
Hi & congrats everyone! I am Shannon, I am a STM, my DD is just 15 months old and the light of my life. DD was born via an emergency c-section due to her heart rate crashing during my contractions. After the c-section my hemoglobin levels were extremely low and I needed two units of blood. After that bit of drama we have not had any further issues and we are both thankfully happy and healthy.
I'm excited and nervous to add a second munchkin to our house. I got my BFP today (Mother's Day) and will be calling to arrange my first prenatal appointment sometime this week. My EDD is currently Jan 13, but I think based on my ovulation I will be a bit later than that. I'm looking forward to this journey and joining all of you on yours!

I don't know if that's normal, but it may be liability related? Which isn't a good reason for poor care, but the medical system is what it is.
