Re: Introductions!
I can finally post!! Nice to meet you all! I was on the knot, nest, then bump and I cannot for the life of me remember my email or login. So I'm "new" again.
I have 3 kids already and hoping for the 4th and final to add to the chaos. Boy 6, girl 5, and girl 3. We're going to be team green this time which we're excited about (found out for the other 3) and unfortunately my 4th c/s, which I'm admittedly nervous about!

I got my BFP this morning but my missed period was on Monday. I just wanted to wait until my husband was home to find out for sure!
I'm a STM with a 10 month old little boy. This pregnancy is a little unexpected but I'm so excited!
I can't wait to get to know you all!
Im a 30 year old first time mom to be
We have (4) four legged children already, 2 cats, a corgi mix (in my profile pic) and our newest addition is a pit mix we brought back from our destination wedding.
Im very excited, very scared, always worrying. According to my last AF (Im going tot have to learn all these abbreviations!) my due date should be January 9th! Just 9 days past that tax break haha
My due date with my first baby is January 4th. I am 30 years old!
My husband and I have been trying to conceive for a while now (November 2015). We had a loss at 8 weeks May last year and it took me a while to be ready to try again after that. In October we started trying again and I got my BFP May 1st
My name is Caitlin. I just got my bfp (x2) today. My due date is either 1/16 (based on LMP) or 1/17 ( based on when I'm nearly positive I O'd). I am a STM; my DD will be 3 in August. @missblaze and I are friends from having Aug14 babies together. Glad to be here with you all!
Zoe Nicole: 8/21/14
Due again: 1/17/18
Just got my BFP today. I tested last week and it was negative. Thought I would test again since still no AF. I'm kind of in shock. DD was born June 16 and is 11 months old. This baby is unexpected but a happy surprise. EDD Jan 1.

Nervous, excited, shocked, and looking forward to getting to know all of you in the next several months!
@ecolton01 I was not in June 16. I was actually a pretty good lurker/occasional poster in July 16. I was induced at 37 so I ended up with a June baby. I want to be a more active member of this community this time. Wow my DD is only 2 days older than yours. Are you freaking out?!?
It's such a long wait, but I assume it's because there's not much they can do until the baby is a bit bigger and easier to see/hear.
We've been TTC#1 for two years, and had two early losses (June 2015, January 2016). I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's (thyroid antibodies) in March and have been on levothyroxine for these past two cycles. I got my bfp on 5/7 and I'm 4 weeks today - my EDD is January 19. My first beta (10dpo) was 34, my second (12dpo) was 136. I go back next Wednesday for a third beta and (if all continues to go well!) my first ultrasound is scheduled for May 26 - I'll be six weeks that day. Given our loss history I'm trying to just stay cautiously optimistic, but I'm glad to be here with y'all!!
@remindmeofthebabe I have hashimotos also and have been trying to handle it since I was in middle school. *TW .. my sis also has the same disorder and she lost 6, before they figured it out . End TW.. as soon as I found out I was pregnant with both I got tested right away 3weeks ish , and I get tested once every 3 weeks for the entire 9 months it soooo important due to the correlation it has with loss if it's not spot on .. I am now on naturthyroid ... it's INCREADIBLE!! My levels have virtually stayed the same for over a year which is nuts . When I was pregnant with DD I noticed my thyroid levels dropped so I had to up my dose at 6 weeks and then again about at 3 months and 6 months so make sure you stay on top of it. Then it slowly went back to normal after she was born . I would not switch medicine right now though in fear that it would screw something up , but after baby is born I would look into it . Let me know what questions you may have of any because I have been around the horn 10 different times , my entire family on the female side struggles with it
When I was diagnosed, my TSH levels were and always had been normal - it was just the antibodies that were high. But my RE and endo recommended I go on levo anyway because some research indicates it reduces mc risk for people like me with high TPO levels but normal TSH.
I also read that eating a gluten free diet can reduce the antibodies and put the hashimotos in remission, so I've been doing that since I was diagnosed too.
I am Lema expecting my second baby; my first love bug turned 1yr this month on the 9th. Due date is January 21st. In hindsight I probably should have suspected it a couple days ago when I became a little nauseous during yoga. I'm glad to be joining.
I'm Amy, a FTM, due around the end of Jan. I got my BFP May 11 (CD10) and am super excited! Not too many symptoms so far- a bit carsick and headachy but that's about it.
Wonderful to to meet you all!
I got my BFP this morning around 10dpo, I was using OPKs, but it could be earlier because the test line was so faint. But I managed to turn a FRER and a wondfo.
My estimated due date is January 23rd, based on LMP.
As for symptoms I don't really have any except for major bloating at night. I have a feeling I won't be able to hide this pregnancy for very long.
I am a STM, my DD is 21 months and I participated in the Aug15 BMB.
I'm freaking the heck out right now. We've been trying for a year. I'm 36 and will be 37 when the baby comes. I'm obese. I have hashimoto's thyroid disease. I'm scared of every single thing going wrong
I like my usual OBGYN, but I don't know about the rest of the practice. I saw another doctor there for the pregnancy confirmation appointment at 5 weeks and I didn't care for her at all. She was brusque and didn't want to answer any questions until my official first prenatal appointment at 8 weeks. Is that normal?
Sorry, I guess I'm a bit of a spazz right now!

ETA: DD is 5. SO's kids are 3 (girl) and 11 months (boy).
I just got my bfp today. Google says edd is Jan 22. This will be number 4. J(b) is Nov 2011, N(b) is Feb 2013, E(g) is Nov 2015.
J was an emergency c section. N and E were both vbacs.
I got a BFP this morning! I will be a FTM (although I have 2 wonderful SKs.)
I honestly didn't think we were pregnant. I normally symptom spot and drive myself crazy after O, but this month in particular I didn't religiously track anything and I was very dismissive of my few symptoms that I did have. I have a short LP and my blood sugars were off (which they put me on medication for) so I assumed we weren't going to conceive on our own. We've been trying for almost 2 years. I've been seeing an RE and we were scheduled to start Clomid for the first time my *next* cycle so I had really just let go and not focused on it this cycle. Surprise-surprise! My husband may have had a few "I told you so"s today
The internet claims my DD based on O is 1/20/2018, but obviously that's subject to change.
I don't think its fully sunk in yet. We haven't told anyone and its killing me. I saw my brother & his wife (who are also TTC) and my mom today for Mother's Day but I really want to wait until after the 8 week ultrasound at least before we tell most people. My best friend is dealing with a lot with school (she's finishing up her last clinical for her Master's Degree), her grandmother who she helps care for just entered hospice a few days ago, and she has a really important job interview next week. I've decided to to wait until at least after her job interview so she has just one less thing on her mind, but at the same time I feel almost guilty I haven't told her yet! I'm sure she'll forgive me for waiting a week

*Trigger Warning*
@mcrosie, freakin out over here too! FTM and "older" so there are supposed risks and I don't know what to expect and that's tough just to wait.
BFP #2 7/11/17 | EDD 3/24/18
BFP #1 5/2/17 | EDD 1/12/18 | MC 5/18/17
My name is Susan and got my BFP on 5/1 after being 3 days late. I just turned 42 last week and it's been 19 years since my last pregnancy.
Right now, I'm excited but exhusted. Anxiously waiting the first doc visit on 6/7. DH and I can't wait for the ultrasound and heartbeat.
I'm excited and nervous to add a second munchkin to our house. I got my BFP today (Mother's Day) and will be calling to arrange my first prenatal appointment sometime this week. My EDD is currently Jan 13, but I think based on my ovulation I will be a bit later than that. I'm looking forward to this journey and joining all of you on yours!

I don't know if that's normal, but it may be liability related? Which isn't a good reason for poor care, but the medical system is what it is.
