Hey everyone! I'm super excited to be back. My EDD is January 19. This is baby number 2 for us. DS will be 2 in August. I actually had an ectopic pregnancy that required surgery and the removal of one of my ovaries and fallopian tubes in October. I got my BFP on 5/12, which was the day before my would be due date of the baby I lost. Needless to say I am feeling so blessed! Can't wait to go through this journey with you all.
Hello! My name is Mariana. I got a very faint BFP yesterday on a early detection test. My EDD is January 26 based on my last period (January 24th on suspected ovulation day). I have a 3 year old DS (born April, however was part of of May 2014 board). I am super excited but don't want to get my hopes up until I get a very clear positive test.
Hey ladies! I'm a housewife married to an incredible husband and we are expecting our first baby around January 12th 2018! We are so excited! My bfp was May 1st, 6 days before missed period. I am a ftm with several health complications in the past that have made me a little scared every day for my baby, but I believe that will get put to rest once I have my first ultrasound.
Hi everyone! I'm Katie, and I can't believe I'm in here! My EDD is January 20th, based on the first day of my last period. We tested before going on vacation, 9DPO, BFN; enjoyed our time away, and got our BFP the day we came home, 13DPO! We spent so much time trying to adjust the contrast and saturation on our phones to see if we could see the line that we didn't notice that the line had become fully dark in the meantime I took two more tests after that, and all were positive. DH and I are both 32, we've been married since 10/22/16 and have been TTC since then. This is my first pregnancy, and I have a stepson who will be 5 next month (we're waiting until the end of the the 1st trimester to tell him, but he's been begging for a sibling to play with)! My Dr. has me on 200mg progesterone supplements twice a day for the 1st trimester and I'm not loving that part (the back pain is unbelievable), but we are thrilled and ecstatic to be on this journey, even when it's uncomfortable or painful. My first prenatal appt is June 6, when I'll be 7 weeks! Congrats to everyone else in here!!!
Me: 32 | DH: 32 DSS: 5- starting kindergarten this fall! TTC since our wedding: October 22, 2016 BFP #1 5/10/2017!!! *Sadly, we lost our sweet babe on 6/19/17 at 9 weeks, 2 days. But we are made of hope, and we'll be back here soon.*
@wildmagelet I'm also a stepmom and we have the same due date! This Mother's Day was completely magical. Congratulations!
Hey Everyone! Congrats on all the BFPs! (I also love!!!!) Nice to meet everyone here and hope to stay for 8 full more months.
@LemmyRN - I'm also EDD Jan. 21 based on temping and Ovidrel trigger.
Me (32) & DH (34); NTNP since Jan 2016; TTC since June 2016: with an RE since Dec 2016. Third cycle was Letrozole, Gonal F & Ovidrel = BFP. I'm a FTM but I have three furbabies, small, medium & large dogs. We've been married for +10 years. DH is originally from the US but we live in Canada (I'm Canadian). I'm also a bookworm but that stopped since TTC because all I do is look up TTC stuff on the Internet now. I'm 4w+1d and had beta tests on Saturday afternoon (71) & today it was 185!!!! I was so nervous because we told our parents on Mother's Day (we wanted to make it special). My BFF is also preggo and I'm 2w behind her but she doesn't know yet. I'll be telling her and my other BFF (who knows everything we've been going through) this weekend. I'm so excited but terrified of m/c. I have a dating u/s on Friday, June 2 and we might be able to hear the heart beat by then!!! Yikes!!! I just want to say that I've had like NO symptoms. I've had some bloating & cramping but that is just normal progesterone stuff since I always feel that way before AF. I take meds for persistent nausea so I'm hoping this little bean doesn't cause more. I work in an office and the bathroom is right next to someone's office so I'm hoping I don't get those symptoms.
I'm 34, DH is 40 and we were NTNP since Jan 2017. We had our first daughter in July 2015, after 6 rounds of medicated cycles & one IUI which was successful. We are now due with #2 on Jan 8th, 2018.
I have had a lot of nausea which was the same with my first pregnancy. It happens mainly at night time versus in the morning. I am taking Diclegis at night only as it makes me every more exhausted during the day. Yesterday, I flew to London for work & was super concerned about nauseated the whole flight - amazingly I felt great and slept nearly the entire time. I'm flying back on Friday, fingers crossed that I'll feel just as well!
Good luck to everyone in their pregnancy journey, I'm excited to hear all about your journeys and share mine as well!
Mom to Little Miss M - IUI - Delivered July 2015 #2 - Due Jan 2018
Hey ladies . My name is gulay and i will be a stm. First baby successful IVF and born August 8, 2015. I was a member of August 15 and still talk to many of the women of that board via fb, text messages etc. I had my first implantation of the year on 2/11 but unfortunately , i lost that embryo. On 4/27 I had my now implantation. Today I measure about 5 1/2 wks and have a due date of 1/13. What else about me
Hi everyone! I had the best mother's day ever by getting a BFP!! This will be #2 for me, my first will be 1 at the end of this month. My EDD is Jan 10, but based on cycle length I believe it will be closer to Jan 17. Which would also explain why DS was born at 41 weeks. I wasn't active with my May 16 birth month group, so I'm hoping to this time!
After leaving in November 2016, we're back. And 6 weeks into our 2nd attempt. Our first one ended in a blighted ovum and I hope I'm not jumping the gun as well. I told myself I wouldn't be back on this site. It's a wonderful community but it brought back so many bad memories for me. My DH doesn't want to me to stress and that is a HUGE issue with me. I ask for prayers that everything will turn out ok this time. I know we can't ever predict but I'd sure like to think we'll get this through this one happy and healthy.
I just found out on Mothers' Day morning and no one knows but a few including my DH. We just cried and cried. Fear, surprise, love, happiness, sadness. All of it threw me into a bawling fit.
I hope to share this thread with you ladies for a while
I got my BFP last Thursday after being quite a few days late. It was a surprise! My EDD is Jan 7th so far but I will know more at my first appointment on Monday! This will be mine and hubs 3rd and last babe. We already have two girls! 6 & nearly 3!
@knottiebc5085dcedc4e585 welcome and congrats! please log into your knot account and change your username to make your easier to remember and tag! I think someone copy and pasted the directions earlier in the thread!
DS1: Nov. 2013 DS2: Jan. 2016 DS3: Dec. 2017 Baby #4 on the way!

I think I just did! Not sure why it isn't showing up yet? Thanks!
@zamora_spin - Thanks! I got a vvvf line on 11dpo so I started to get excited. We were on our third cycle with the RE and it worked with this magic concoction.
So my husband told his parents and his mom decided to start telling the aunts & uncles. She told her early teen child and I did not want her to know yet!!! She even told some woman I used to be close to when we lived in the states. I haven't even told my bffs and she's telling people I don't want. Like I'm less than 5w!! What the hell was she thinking?!? I know she's excited bc it's the first grandchild but it is way too early to tell anyone other than immediate family!!! I'm so upset right now!
@mrsdaddario seriously! It's like perma-PMS!! Also, my suppositories are a reddish color, which seems cruel since it gives me a heart attack every time I wipe. Anything for a healthy baby, but dang! Do you have any back/hip pain from them? I'm told it's my uterus growing and ligaments stretching but I didn't imagine it would be this intense so early!

I don't actually get back or hip pain from them. They do cause me some slight cramping though. Back pain is an early pregnant symptom, but not as excruciating as your seems! I hope your doctor can figure out what's going on. Maybe ask about oral progesterone?
Hi! I just got blood test results this morning and my EDD is 1/25/2018. I got pregnant on the first try last year and had a miscarriage at 6 weeks, followed by a D&C and then 6 weeks ago I had a laparoscopy to remove endo and hysteroscopy to remove scar tissue from my uterus. I just moved from Texas to NY 5 weeks ago after being in a long distance relationship (and trying to get pregnant while living 1700 miles apart!) But now I am here with my partner and we got pregnant on our second-first try! I am very nervous because of the past miscarriage and I am 41, but we are both really happy and hopeful. I am currently looking for a great OB+midwifery here so we are doing some research tonight. Happy to be in this group! Congrats to everyone!
@tryingfor1st Has your husband spoken to her about spreading the news? If he has and she's still spreading it without regard to your feelings, she is making it clear she cannot be trusted to keep a secret. Pregnancy is a long road, there will be plenty of opportunities to be selective in the information she receives.
Hi, everyone! Excited to be joining the group. My DH (33) and I (35) are hoping to be welcoming our second child into the family around 1.24.18 after 17 months of TTC and 2 IUIs. Our DD is 23 months old and was a spontaneous pregnancy after 21 months of TTC. Thankful it didn't take 21 months this time but sure wish it hadn't taken 17 either. Regardless, hopeful and happy for the time being. Heading in for blood work tomorrow as I just got my BFP this morning (our wedding anniversary!) at 13dpiui. We live in the Midwest and I am a SAHM to our DD and furbaby, a 12 year old Ragdoll.
I am still really active in my June '15 Facebook mommy group so I hope this group brings a new bunch of amazing women into my life, too!
Hello everyone and congrats on the BFPs! I got my BFP yesterday morning and was supposed to be having my first RE appointment in the afternoon, still just amazed at the timing! We had been TTC for 11 months and were in the works of getting MH scheduled for varicocelectomy surgery. EDD is 1/26/18 based on last period, probably a couple days earlier since I think I ovulated a day or 2 early this month. I had been lurking the TTGP board for quite a few months and participating on the board for 2 cycles, happy to see some other TTGP ladies here! I'm a FTM and live in the midwest. Hoping to get to you know all you wonderful ladies over the next months!
@zamora_spin - Yes, she said she was just so excited but as a women working the medical profession and having 4 kids of her own, one would think you would know not to tell anyone when I'm only 4 weeks!! Plus, she took that pleasure away from our own announcement. I would have told these people after my u/s when I felt a bit better about telling a couple more people. I wanted to cry and punch a wall all at the same time.
@LemmyRN - He told me he told her not to say anything but I think he was too excited and didn't actually tell her not to say anything but she's a medical professional, she should know not to say anything. We even told her I had to do more blood work to make sure it was doubling. Think lady!/ she will not be trusted with more info but DH is a momma's boy and I'm worried he'll spill the beans on gender as soon as he knows..urgh!
Hi everyone! I'm Jen and trying to become a FTM. I got my BFP on May 4th and EDD 1/10. My husband and I are scared and excited at the same time! First US today...praying to see heartbeat at 6 weeks. Looking forward to meeting everyone
Hi everyone! My name is Casey and I'm super (but cautiously) excited to be here! DH and I transferred 2 PGS+PGD tested embryos on May 10th, and on Sunday (4dp5dt) I got my BFP! My beta is on Sat 5/20. Lines have been getting darker each day, so I'm pretty confident that I'll be able to get to know all you ladies over the next 9 months!
My name is Elena and I got my BFP on Tuesday, May 9 and my EED is 1/10/18. I'm an FTM!!!! I still can't believe it. My husband and I were TTC for over a year. I look forward to getting to know you!!!
Yay, I can finally post! I got my BFP about a week and a half ago. My EDD is 01/12/18. This will be my third, I have 2 boys, 2.5 years and 13 months. Here's hoping this is their little sister! (Although I will still be SO HAPPY if this one is a boy too. How do I even mother a girl after 2 boys??)
Hi everyone, I got a BFP on Mother's Day and a blood test confirmation, EDD Jan 23, 2018. To be honest I am hesitant to be on here because I'm so cautious this early, but felt bad lurking and not introducing myself, so here I am : ) I have a daughter who will be 11 months this week so I am also in the June 2016 group. I'm AMA so we didn't want to wait too long, but we have no idea how we'll handle 2! We feel so blessed and are praying for a healthy little one : )
I got my BFP on 4/30! I am 29 years old and I am a FTM. Just finished my second appointment with my OB and got to hear the heartbeat.....which was so exciting! My EDD is 1/2/18 which is also my 2nd wedding anniversary. Funny how things work out like that! I am totally excited but also very anxious.
@huntadventuresociety-2 Yay EDD twins! My RE prescribed me progesterone suppositories too (only 1x/day thankfully). I take the first one tonight, so FX its not unbearable
@maueraa07 - BFP twins! We had ours Mother's Day morning and it was an awesome start to the day. I had to try not to "glow" all day in front of the family we were visiting with. We're going to wait a little bit before we tell anyone.
@britmanering73 - T&P for a H&H9 for you this time! Happy Mother's Day!
@tryingfor1st - I get being excited but that's totally inappropriate of her to be telling a bunch of people this early without you & DH's okay! You have every right to be upset, that's definitely not her place to share! I hope your DH sets her straight. Either way that ship has sailed and I'd be super selective on that information I were to give her in the future!
I'm Amanda - I got my BFP on 4/28 (our 4 year wedding anniversary!) After struggling with IF for the past 3 years we finally decided to seek help last year and began the fertility journey this year with IUI. On our second IUI cycle we were blessed to become pregnant with TWINS! I am very nervous but very much looking forward to this incredible journey!
Hi! My name is Samantha and I am 23. I got my BFP on May 9th and my EDD is 1/14/18. I have a DS born in Jan '16 who was a surprise. After not really trying for him I expected the next one to be super easy. DH and I were trying for almost a year so I was getting nervous about SI. I didn't expect a positive this month so I actually didn't even look at the first test I took and was about to throw it out after only a min! Lo-and-behold there were two lines! I followed all the forums on here and What to Expect with my first but was nervous and a bit of a stalker so never posted anything lol. I am a bookwork (when I have time), love history, and work as a graphic designer.
@WildMagelet - Unfortunately DH will continue to tell his mom everything cuz deep down he's a momma's boy and he hasn't even spoken to her about it. I had told her to plz not say anything to anyone else and tell those people not to say anything. Last thing I need is a comment on FB before my bffs and employer knows! Urgh!
Hi Everyone! My name is Danielle and I'm 31. I got my BFP last Sunday (May 7th) and am a FTM. That puts my EDD as January 16th. DH and I got married in October 2016 and have been TTC since then. We are absolutely over the moon with excitement right now! I have my second round of blood work tomorrow and can't wait to schedule the first ultrasound. Looking forward to going through the journey together-congrats everyone!
Hi all:) I m from India, and TTM, dr google said due date on Jan 16 , based on O. Have 2 daughters and still waiting for exploding news to relatives, won't tell till 3 months. But it is killing me, feeling relieved ti have someone to share with☺
